34 Fateful Encounter

Notice: The twelve heroes are as powerful as the ancient dragons. Some might have even been as powerful as the monarchs.
(But, aren't the Demon Monarch just as powerful? How come if some are as powerful as the other monarchs, then surely they would've ended the war with the demons easily since they've got help from some of the other monarchs.)
Notice: The Demon Monarch is said to be stronger than the Dragon Monarch. During the war, the Demon Monarch cast a wide area of skill that affected half the area of both the continents of Aysias and Repreus. This skill conjured/spawned powerful monstrous beings that destroyed everything that they encounter. During the war, only the Slime monarch and Illuminated Monarch helped the twelve heroes.
(How about the Dragon monarch? He didn't help at all?)
Notice: The Dragon Monarch was nowhere to be found during the war as well as his Ancient Dragons. The Sage Monarch was said to have helped the Elven main capital along with his dryads fend off the enemies but didn't see much help during fighting the Demon Monarch.
Notice: Heroes are titles given to the ones who contributed the most during the war. These twelve heroes are said to be the strongest and have acquired the title after they defeated the Demon Monarch. Although they didn't all travel together, they all were part of a party that was formed just to deal with the threat of the Demon Monarch. They all come from different races but were all united for the same goal.

Notice: The Desert Plains of Carabis and the inhabitable Plains are the results of the War with the Demon Monarch. Most graves of the ones deceased are found in their respective villages, and cities. Their Weapons are either stored in the guild, sold, or have been hidden away since once the hero dies, their weapons become sealed and cannot be used. It is treated as an Ancient Relic.
(I'll try to find some of those weapons in the future and see If I can wield them. Most of the human heroes are dead, and the one missing might also be dead. Humans have such short lifespans. I'm surprised that some of the heroes are still alive or missing. This means that I might encounter some of them in the future.)
Notice: Aside from everybody else, Thalia Flovael- the Empress of the Forest, is alive. She is the one governing the Main Elven Capital City located in the continent of Repreus.
"That's reassuring that there is someone that I can meet among the twelve heroes."
Notice: There was not much info from the Slime Monarch but it was written that the Slime Monarch was the sacrificial lamb to successfully defeat the Demon monarch. His sacrifices were quoted as; The life of another that will save the world.
Notice: Aside from the Heroes, the staff used by the Illuminated Monarch- Staff of Wisdom, was broken into pieces when they sealed what was left of the Demon Army. They used the Staff's power to seal what was left of the Demon Army into the Dimensional Keys( Demon Gate Keys). This broke the Staff of Wisdom into several shards scattered throughout the world.
(Thanks, I got all the information I need for those two topics for now. More importantly, where should I go to get stronger.)
Notice: The broken shards of the staff of wisdom made Mana rich locations in the world. These include the cave mines that the Holy Kingdom is using to farm ores and Grass Bermuda. Uriel has found a map of these locations in the current continent. Although they are scattered throughout the whole world, there is a concentration of them close by toward the Ruin of Luminosity.
Notice: Monsters tend to camp in Mana riched places. That is why the guild back in the holy Kingdom was responsible for guarding the miners and disposing of the monsters that get close to such places. Since the Holy Kingdom has been destroyed and the rumor has just spread, Uriel has estimated the war to have happened during the user's stay back in the Desert of Carabis. Operations on the mines are expected to have already stopped.
Uriel told Seth to pick up a book that was in front of him on the table. Behind it was a map where all the locations of mana-enriched places are located in the Continent of Aysias.
"A concentration of these are within the borders of the Holy Kingdom and the Nations of Iru and Zan. But..."
(They are all close to the borders so I think I can just slip by and directly head northern northwest until I reach the Ruin of Luminosity.)
Notice: There are also sub-ruins along the path that the user can take. We have the five Major Elemental Ruins that are considered sacred places by the people but we also have normal ruins- destroyed old structures, that might be inhabited by monsters.
"All of these will do, Uriel."
(I need to go this instant. I'm level 115/250. This will take a long time to grind and check every spot there is. I do hope I find more Demon Gate Keys as well.)
Seth left the Library in the morning. He then encountered Sevy outside.
"You really took your time reading, Mr. Seth. You might want to take a bath in a bathhouse nearby if you want."
(I forgot I was there the whole yesterday and just came out.)
Notice: A group of people the user knows is approaching the vicinity.
(Know? Oh, it's...)
Seth and Sevy kept on talking as the group of people continue to go their way.
"Maybe I should take the offer and go into the bathhouse. If you don't mind, can you tell me where it is?"
(Now this is embarrassing. The only time I went to bathe was when I was in the City of Panos. I forgot I spent a whole month in the desert.)
Notice: Bathing is irrelevant to the User.
(Shut up, Uriel.)
Notice: The group of people that the User knows have spotted the user and are fast approaching.
(More importantly, why are they here? Either way, I'm just happy that they are alive, to be honest.)
One of the people from the group shouted.
"SETH! I'm glad that you are alive!"
"Lady Alice... lower your voice..."
Alice then hugged Seth as if they were really close even though they'd only met back then in the Holy Kingdom. Sevy looked at them and said.
"The Bathhouse is right in the corner, Mr. Seth."
Her smile relayed an expression that needed no explanation.
"This is not what it looks like, Sevy," Seth said as he looked at Alice.
He then continued.
"I'm... also glad.. that you guys are here... come on... we can talk inside the library... are you guys going to the library?"
"We actually do plan on going here."
Lady Alice and the group paid the fee for a one-day visit to the Academic Library and they all went inside.
(Although I'm not bad at conversing, I'm pretty bad at multitasking it.)
Notice: The user is somewhat in a confused state. The user's passive skill of Mental Sense is not working.
