5 A Nice Chatty Date

Charibel smiled as she looked at Rosae before she walked closer to the lifeless girl, "You…." "?" Charibel picked up Rosae and swung her around as the boys were looking at them in surprise, while Phil, on the other hand, brewed some latte for Charibel. Placing the lifeless girl down, Belle squealed happily and hugged Rosae.

"You look like a cute doll! So light! So pretty! And super adorable!!!"

"..."

Charibel looked at Noah before she smiled at him, "And this is the Autism boy you told me about! It's nice to meet you autism!" Abraham sighs a little before he facepalms, "He has a name miss."

Belle looked at Nick before she realized, "You must be the interesting yet mysterious detective I've heard! Abraham Lihuston was it? Why did you retire?" She asked as Nick sweatdrop from her statement as Cody giggled a little bit before Rosae went behind the Cheshire Cat for a little protection.

"Forgive her Nick, she has her curiosities as a fashionista."

"Fashionista-wait. Charibel Denvil is a fashionista?!"

Nick yelled as Charibel nodded, "I work on many clothes with my assistant Keninji! We work in a fashion shop called CuClothes!" She said as she pulled out a magazine of the CuClothes, the twin brothers looked at the magazine while Cody was petting Charibel.

"I'm glad to see that you are doing well after 10 years.."

"It was a struggle, but thanks to Keninji I managed."

Nick was surprised to hear that name, "Keninji. I think I have met him before because of a stolen clothes incident." Nick said as Charibel looked at him before she suddenly hugged him, "So it is true!!! You are the detective I have heard about!!!!" She said as Nick blushed at her sudden movement, trying to get out Noah was clapping silently as Rosae looked at Cody to tell her what is actually happening.

"Well… Charibel is a huge fan of the detective Abraham, he solved like almost a million cases but he retired because he is finding a cure." He said as Rosae nodded in understanding as Nick was trying to make Charibel let go of him.

'Cody, does that mean that Charibel is a huge fan of Nick?'

"She was, I often send the books Nick wrote to her every month before he retires."

Charibel nodded at Cody's statement as she pulled out a novel book from her bag, Nick was surprised at the sudden book. "Is that one of the detective novels I wrote?" He asked as she nodded before she gave Cody and Rosae the books that Nick wrote, Noah looked at them well and he was surprised to see how well written the book was. Noah looked at Nick as his eyes were twinkling like a diamond, causing Nick to blush as Noah looked at the books even more as Cody and Rosae looked at him.

"So Noah can understand Nick's writings; this is new." They both thought as Charibel finally let go of Nick before she walked towards Noah, "You say that something happened to Noah right? What happened?" Cody glanced at Phil, causing him to take a hint.

"I'll explain what happened…"

"I see…. You retire just for Noah's condition."

Nick only nodded as Noah was taking a tiny nap since he felt a little dizzy after reading, Cody looked at Charibel, "So far nothing worse happened to Noah, Nick was half-way there to cure his deadly condition except his autism." After hearing that, Charibel nodded in understanding after hearing the reason why he retired. Rosae looked at Nick, 'When will he get the cure?' Nick who instantly hears her, shrugs at her response. "I don't know but I hope the medicine I provide will cure him."

"I see, I see…."

Charibel muttered as she placed the mug near her lips to take a sip.

"Well it's not that bad, but I'm sure you can find the cure in no time Nick!"

Charibel said as Nick and the others looked at her in confusion, "What do you mean by that?" He asked as the fashionista smiled and pulled out a package box, "Here!" "?" Charibel passed the box to Nick, as the ex-detective looked confused at the box before he opened it. "Woah….Is that…" His eyes widened in shock as there was another book to cure Noah's condition, Nick immediately looked at Charibel, "Is that…" Charibel only nodded since she knew that it was the book Nick wanted.

"It took like almost forever to find these books, I'm glad it was so worth it!"

Books about cancer cures, how to survive various types of a deadly sickness, science histories, and many detective novels.

"How did you… I mean, I don't remember ordering that."

Nick said as he looks at the books and to his expectations, they were new to him. Causing Charibel to smile at his response, "Keninji and I were trying to find books for you, thanks to the help of Cody I'm glad I manage to find you!" She smiled as she was suddenly embraced by Nick, causing her to blush he pulled her closer as he was extremely relieved to find a cure medicine. Causing Cody and Rosae to look at them in shock at that unexpected response, "THIS IS SO NEW!!!" They both thought as they watch the romantic scene right in front of them, Nick let go of the hug and look away in embarrassment as Charibel stared at him in surprise.

"Thank you Charibel…"

"Y-your welcome Abraham."

Not noticing the crowd behind them as they both stare at each other's eyes, Noah who was finally away was massively blushing at the sight, Cody and Rosae are secretly smirking at them, and Phil took a picture. The Philosopher smiled the moment before he kept the phone in his pocket, 'One day, it would be nice to look back…' Phil thought before he told them it was time to eat.

The others agreed and went to get their drinks, Rosae was so interested in Blueberry IceCream to drink she wanted, Cody was so in love with Black Ice Cream, Noah really enjoyed the Ice Cream with spicy chips, and Abraham and Charibel drank latte together while chatting with Phil. Nick looked at Charibel with a few questions in mind, "Charibel, which country did you go to?" He asked as Cody smiled and took a little bit of the BlueBerry Ice Cream.

"Honestly I bring Charibel to Japan in Tokyo. Cause I thought she would be safe from my dad since he nearly visited all the countries and that country is the only place he hasn't been into."

This confuses Nick, "Why not Japan?"

"Well, he is not into anime."

Nick and Charibel who is trying to not laugh, Rosae looked at Cody, 'Really now?' She signed while Cody smirks at her before raising his hand for a thumbs up. Before Charibel coughs a little before she decided to speak.

"He was before a mad scientist who can invent a medicine for disgusting inventions. It was the worse experience I and Cody have to witness."

Both Cody and Charibel's face darkened after remembering the time. They glanced at each other before they both nodded, causing everyone in the room to look at them in confusion. Abraham heard a voice as he spoke out loud.

"However… Those experiments by creating chemicals, traveling around the world to gather tools, testing them…"

Rosae silently picked up the hint but never bothered to speak up.

"Why didn't you tell me that you sent your sister away to Japan just to get tortured?!"

"It had to be done… There was a chance she could die again after taking another experimental medicine."

March 3, 2006. While Rosae was reading a book she heard voices behind her at the library, she knew it was Cody and Abraham but it was no ordinary talk.

It was a talk about the origin of the Denvil Family.

'Denvil Family….'

Rosae thought as she heard arguments about what should have done before, hearing footsteps to exit the library. The place went grey as Rosae slightly panicked at the unexpected talk, she walked towards them to see if they could see her but they didn't. Giving her the advantage to get out of the library quickly straight to her room. Rosae lay down and looked at the ceiling as the gray atmosphere turned into a rainbow.

'Cody….Denvil… I think I have heard about the man before….'

As her eyes pale after thinking about that, 'I heard about that before but…..' she looks like she is about to break into a cold sweat.

'That man….is bad news…'

'But now, I read that he was sentenced to death, I think things should be fine but….'

'Cody and Charibel can still remember the experimentation…..'

Shivers went down Abraham's spine as Charibel sadly smiled and petted Abraham to gently calm him down, "But once I heard that dad was sentenced to death I feel happy for Cody… But.." She looked at Cody as there were still bandages on him, making her feel bad before she shook her head. "Anyway, Phil, have you made bubble tea?" Changing the subject Phil hear bubble tea and looked at Charibel, "Bubble Tea? Haven't heard of it." He said as Charibel gasped horribly as everyone in the room looked at her.

"WHHHAAATTTT?! You all haven't heard about bubble tea?!"

Charibel looked at Cody in hopes he had bubble tea before, however, Cody shrugs in confusion before she walked behind Nick and embraced him.

"?!"

"You…ALL HAVENT HEART OF BUBBLE TEA?! Ohhh!!!!! THIS IS NEW!!!!!"

She squealed in delight causing Abraham to blush even more, "Charibel? Aren't you a little bit TOO close?" Abraham panicked when Charibel drags him closer to her. "Right now I'm going to introduce him to bubble tea right now!!!!" Unexpectedly he was dragged by Charibel outside the cafe immediately. Causing Abraham to panic he looked at her before he looked at Cody and the others.

"C-Charibel what are you-?!"

"Let's go get that bubble tea Abraham!!!"

"Rosae! Cody! Noah! Phil! SAVE ME!!!!"

Too late to help him, they are both gone in the place, as Rosae looked at Cody who was busy petting a sleepy Noah. Causing her to sigh quietly she leans on the table to take a nap.

"I'm pretty sure those two are okay."

"You think so, Phil? Well, I'm going to tuck Noah into bed separately now."

"Thanks, Cody."

Rosae peals her eyes to see that Cody was carrying Noah while walking away to the room, Phil places one more cup of coffee beside Rosae.

"Rosae after your rest, I have to ask you to help clean the place."

Rosae nodded at Phil's words before taking a sip of coffee and relax.

'I'm pretty sure that Nick and Charibel will be alright….'

At the shopping district where the bubble tea stall can be located.

"Here we are!"

"Charibel...why…"

"Cause I want to!"

Charibel said as her hand was held tightly on Nick's hand, causing him to stare at the touching hands with a blush on his face. He looked at Charibel before as he gazed in another direction, Belle, on the other hand, was enjoying dragging Nick around as she finally stopped by at the Bubble Tea Stall. She gently let go of his hand as she started to look at the menu.

"Where here Nick!"

"..."

Charibel looked at the menu with pure excitement on her face, as Nick was staring at Charibel.

"Nick."

'She let go of my hand… but it felt so cold yet so warm…. What is this feeling…'

"Nick."

'But should I ask again, but we've just met.'

"Nick!"

"?! S-sorry, what is it?"

"What flavor do you want?"

She asked, pointing at the menu as Nick looked at the menu to look at what's in store. His eyes perked up when he saw cookies and cream, "Cookies and Cream…." He whispered as Charibel smiled at him before she proceeded to order the drinks, Nick stared at Charibel before his gaze was fixed on the other stalls he hasn't had a chance to visit. His eyes twinkled a bit when his hand was gently grabbed, Charibel was smiling at him before she paid for the drinks and gave him and share.

"Come on, since we're here. Let's go to the bench there!"

"Sure."

Charibel and Abraham walked to the bench just to sit down as they both insert the straw and take a sip, "Ahh~ That's the good stuff~~" Charibel said as Abraham looked at Charibel before he takes a sip, once he took a sip he was shocked at the texture of the drink. He stopped and looked at the drink in surprise and pleased, Charibel secretly pictured his reaction as she smiled at him. "I-I didn't know this bubble tea tasted good…." Nick said feeling relaxed as he leaned to the bench in pure satisfaction before he takes another sip, "I know right?! It really tastes good!" She said as she enjoys sipping the bubble tea, feeling both satisfied they finish the drinks and place it in the trash can. They both look at the sky as Charibel smiled and leaned closer to him, "So then Abraham, how do you solve almost a million cases?"

"With my powers of a psychic…"

Abraham sighed as he lifts his hand as his glasses were floating on top of him, causing Charibel to look at him in shock.

"Psychic?"

Nick can only nod at her response.

"I'm psychic. I can see, analyze, control, and manipulate things when I start the command. Including Clairvoyance, Telekinesis, Psychometry, and more."

Abraham looked at the sky as Charibel looked at him.

"I received those powers after an incident. To make money I need to use my powers to good use to earn money to live with my brother much longer. It really bothers me on why I didn't use my powers to save mom and dad when I had those powers before…"

Charibel feels bad asking him bout that, but he clenched his fist and smiled sadly, "After when Noah had his black flames abilities, he received lung cancer, autism, and a few other symptoms. Making sure that he is alive cost me almost a million dollars to pay for the rent, bills, and more… Sure it's tiring but he is the only family I had left…." His eyes were full of pissed as Charibel just sits beside him, continuing to listen. Then Nick snaps out of his mind and looks at her since he realized that Belle was with him, "Sorry you have to hear all that. I was desperate to save Noah." He was about to talk more before he was silenced by Charibel, they both stared into each other's eyes as she shook her head.

"No…"

"?"

"No need to say anymore."

"..."

Charibel leans towards Abraham as she silently embraces him, causing him to blush and look at her. "You went so far to find the cure, you need to ease your mind first." She said as he felt warmth seeping through him, "But..." "Noah survived much longer through his cancer right? You shouldn't worry about him, plus I sense that he is trying to live for your sake." Charibel said pulling him closer to her, causing him to gently hug back as she blushes a bit before they both let go.

"Thanks, Charibel."

"S-sure Abraham…"

They both blush and look away in embarrassment, flushed faces were on their faces as they look at the sky.

"..."

They can't find the words to say to each other since they both feel nervous about each other, Charibel looked at Abraham who is at a loss for words before she finished her bubble tea. She still feels pretty nervous about him after what happened long with the sudden embrace, as her gaze was fixated on Nick. Causing her blush to worsen, she can't help but stare.

'I am so close to finding the cure… But… I need to run experiments, it is really a bad choice...'

Nick looks at the sky before thoughts of the experiments we're running on his mind, 'To find the cure, I need to ask Noah about how will his condition handle the medicine I made…' He pondered before he feels like drinking more bubble tea, his hands were guiding him to get it before sipping, however….

'Hmm? This flavor is interesting but… that is not my drink…'

Abraham glanced to Charibel but, her face was beet red since he found his drink beside him, causing him to blush he pulled back and gently giving it to her with an apologetic look on his face. As her blush worsened up, "Sorry….." He sid as she pouted before she also grabbed his drink and sip it, causing him to blush and look at her, "Charibel?!" "Payback for drink mine!!!" "I-I said I'm sorry…" They decided to finish up their drink before walking around the place to find something useful, while Nick was finding something useful Charibel took a glance at the mirror to find a certain someone walking in the streets. Causing her to feel chills, before she walked behind Nick.

"Charibel?"

"...."

"What's wrong?"

Belle's face went completely pale as she hugged his arm in hopes she will not hit on, causing him to be confused, Nick had no other choice but to read her mind.

'That man, he is no good boy….. I need to stay away from him as possible…..'

'Man?'

Using his psychic to look, the man was waiting at the store with a girl in his arms. Nick glance at Charibel before he gently pets her head, reading the room, he immediately went to nearby other exits just to go to other stores one by one to avoid the wandering couple. Once they found a place where they can use their magic, Charibel was confused before she noticed that the man she feared wasn't around, causing her to sign in relief as she looked at him.

"Nick…."

"Yeah?"

"Take us to Rosae immediately…"

Those words confuse him.

"What?"

"There is something I need to warn her about."

Then Nick gets the hint.

"That man right?"

Belle nodded before she uses her illusionary magic to sense his location, "That man is bad news, I had to as Rosae to get away from that man as soon as possible." She said as Nick nodded, "Fine we can teleport us to Rosae but, who will protect her on her behalf?" Nick asked as Charibel looked at him.

"Cody… He can save her…"

As Nick prepares himself for the teleporting, Charibel senses the presence coming closer, as she looks at him. "Nick, hurry!!" He nodded at her panic stare but a voice was cut off.

"No. Need."

Chribel's eyes widened in fear as she hugged his arms tightly as they both looked behind, there was the couple. A man with a kind looks on his face, as there was a girl with a shy expression on her face. She went behind Nick as he looked at the man, "Who are you?" Abraham said before preparing his magic as the man dropped his kind aura to a menacing one.

"I'm looking for a woman named… Rosae? Is that her name, can you introduce me to her."

Then Nick hears another voice in his head, 'Nick doesn't trust that man. He is a city's massive level threat.' Causing Abraham to keep his guard up, he looked at the man.

"Why?"

The man chuckled as he looked at him.

"You're the psychic man Abraham Lihuston right? Just show me to Rose and everything will be fine."

'DON'T TRUST HIM!!!!'

As Abraham summoned his cards, the shy girl went from shy to an intimidating look before she summoned her knife, while the man summoned his giant sword and armor and pointed his sword at Nick.

"Listen, just do me the favor and introduce me to Rosae?"
