3 V.1-C.3│Knucklehead III│

Time passed, and Obito was getting himself used to his new form. With proper physical conditioning, he was able to become strong enough to probably enter the academy at the age that he is now.

Three years of age.

The Second Shinobi War has been going on for the last two years now, nearly three, near coinciding with Obito's debut. Well, it started a few more months after his subsequent awakening to the world as it is, and he didn't have any knowledge of who his parents were.

Even still, once gaining the strength, endurance and dexterity needed to write, he wrote down as much as he could. Everything that he remembered, from small to little within a few journals.

Each journal was subsequently linked to all sorts of things, and he even decided to write in another language. Even if the language wasn't something already known, he came up with a language he could use for himself.

He knew better than to write using the normal language within those journals.

Instead, he used this to develop some skills as well, where the language that only he knows helps him develop the yin half of his chakra.

His made up language used for these journals as he didn't want people to be able to read and discover his secrets of the future before he managed to remember all of these details perfectly.

He hadn't even awoken his own Sharingan yet, meaning that it was hard for him to get a clear hold of these things. 'Yeah... the Sharingan...' Obito thought it was strange that he now would potentially gain such a power.

It also made him hesitate to awaken it, knowing the dark potential nature of said power. He knew he is not infalliable, but with his strong willpower, he believed that he would be able to get through this obstacle.

He never needed the Sharingan anyway to get as strong as he did.

However, after having written possibly everything that he could, he also kept them safely tucked away within a hidden space in his room.

Managing to build up enough physical strength to actually make a small hidden compartment in the floorboards. Others would be able to find it, if they were looking and he hadn't placed something over it as well.

Nothing more really interesting had happened as of late.

His Granny Masumi was getting older and so was he, and he also started to notice himself getting stronger in terms of chakra capabilities.

While no powerhouse in terms of chakra, he would definitely not put it past himself to be able to beat other children older than himself. This isn't just because he's smarter than other children, but because he also had access to knowledge that he shouldn't have, creativity and maybe some luck to help him out.

His physical conditioning was also tampered with so that he may not create future problems for himself. An example being damaging himself while conditioning his body, harming the growth of his physical being in the future.

Adhering to the nature of what chakra is, he had to split his time doing two things most of the time.

Two general things in relation to physical exercise, and mental exercises. While Granny Masumi may have wanted him to get along with the other Uchiha children his age, he was uninterested.

He has a goal.

While it was good and all to make friends, Obito found himself distancing himself from others. More often than not he wondered why. 'Maybe it is because they are different from those I have connected to from the past...? Maybe it is the influence of being an Uchiha now? Or maybe it is something else...'

Everyone is born with some genetic inherent limit when it comes to how much chakra one has. That doesn't mean they are weaker than others, but this limit is usually a indication of someone's future strength.

This isn't taking into account the many other details or factors that go into the whole strength thing. Bloodline limits, chakra nature, techniques, unique traits, even tools one uses all culminates together to empower oneself.

Being a sensor, naturally having a higher sensitivity to chakra than others and creating a sensing technique, or even inheriting one, or having something unique. Being a jinchuriki, even despite the downsides, is a massive benefit as well.

Not in the chakra control sense, but it certainly allowed someone to get over their natural inherent chakra limits.

Then there are the soft limits to what one benefits from. Their economic situation they are born into. Their social position. The rank, occupation, affiliation and connections one has with others further determines ones path.

'Hell, even my gender would net gain me some benefits or disadvantages.' Obito thought to himself as he was doing some more basic training. No heavy lifting of weights, no all out suicide sprints.

Just running around wildly to build stamina even higher than what it is, pushups, sit-ups, squats, lunges, and planks for stuff related to his upper and lower body. Obito even did more then just physical exercises to build endurance and strength, but stuff to include dexterity and agility as well.

His hand eye coordination in throwing rocks at certain targets. Moving targets, still targets, small targets and large targets. Some stretches so his body is able to do those yoga poses one sees, meaning he did in fact do some yoga.

Or at least what he remembers of yoga poses. He could only take some guesses, readjust his positioning if he felt it was wrong and then continue from there.

'I will soon be able to do the splits...' Obito didn't worry about such things in his previous life, but a limber body may just be more important than a strong one in this universe.

After all of this physical conditioning and exercise was becoming a routine, he had time on his hand to do other things.

Chakra is essential to even the most basic jutsu. Through various methods, the most common of which is hand seals, chakra can be controlled and manipulated to create an effect that would not be possible otherwise, such as walking on water, exhaling fire, or creating illusions.

So of course he would learn to do the hand signs. All of them was learned to such a degree, it had become innate to him, meaning that Obito was able to pull up some sick hand signs on instinct.

From his observations, Obito was able to tell that the only way to start manipulating chakra is through manipulation of it via the tenketsu. The chakra pathway system would be taken full advantage of.

The only things he was able to do is the simple control exercises, the leaf concentration exercise and had even started to do the wall walking method as well. After that is complete he would move on from that and do the water walking exercise as well.

Control was more important to him than power, having realized that he could save his energy if used less chakra, and could make his techniques more powerful if he utilized his control in a significant enough way that would increase its effectiveness.

The last thing after chakra is the spiritual concept or side that he needed to build. Studying, meditation, and experience.

The three things important to increasing his yin half of his chakra, while his yang half is covered by his physical conditioning routine, day in, day out.

Yang, training, stimulants, and exercise. Yin, studying, meditation, and experience.

These two energies becoming more powerful will in turn make the created chakra more powerful.

Some unique individuals have substantial potential that enables them to exponentially increase their chakra reserves in a relatively short amount of time. 'Hashirama, Madara, Naruto and Sasuke. The only known reincarnations of Ashura and Indra.' Obito thought of those cheats, and wanted it for himself.

For now though, he would have to make do with what life has given him.

A good way to build up chakra in the body is to spin it into a tight spiral. Whether to spin the chakra left or right is dependent on the way the user's hair grows. 'A ridiculous concept, but this piece of information most definitely has helped me mold and build my chakra up easily. In fact...'

Obito thought of the times he did the opposite, where building chakra was harder, and subsequently he had found another method in which he could become stronger. Supposedly this is a bad way to train and build chakra, but by doing this against the current of his chakra network, he made his chakra have to adapt.

Chakra can also be used for general performance enhancement. By molding the chakra into key points of the body, usually the hands or feet, it will greatly augment their physical prowess.

Certain shinobi are able rely on this skill to gain a speed boost, acquire a sixth sense, and even perform superhuman strikes.

Obito even discovered all of his work was paying off, in that molding one's chakra can also improve mental prowess, able to process information more efficiently.

Using his own generated experiences with chakra, increasing the difficultly of his control and building of said chakra, and then using this ineffective process helped him get over his current limits much faster than before.

Those limits being his current physical form, being unable to really bring out the full potential his body has within.

If Obito didn't know any better, he would start calling himself a genius, but he doesn't really deserve such a title considering he is borrowing from others knowledge to augment his own process.

Not that he was ever known as a genius before anyway.

'No. I mustn't get too cocky just yet. If ever.' Obito thought to himself, having stopped his final 'exercise' of the day, that being meditation. Opening his eyes, there was this clearness within himself.

Meditation was not the most thing to do, but it was made easier once he releases any and all physical energy his body has stored up, allowing him to relax much better for this process.

There were no shocking discovers or revelations about himself within. Especially since he wasn't left unresolved in his previous life.

Probably his only problem was being lonely. Having no family and all, it made it easy for him to detach himself so easily, and he was even more lucky that he had no regrets.

Now finally ready for bed, he looked into the sky, out of his window, directly at the moon and wondered about future events. 'What ever will I do...?' His continued staring at the moon, before he would doze off for the night.

He had things to do the day after, and the day after that, and the day after that, and every other day forthcoming.

Obito had been taken out of the house by Mikoto, as she wanted to spend some time with him. Supposedly, she was taking more and more time off from her official shinobi duties, even with a war raging on in the background.

How she is able to get out of doing such duties is probably related to the fact that the Uchiha are the ones in charge of the police. A system that is meant to secure internally, instead of externally, meaning that she could instead have herself posted within Konohagakure.

Of course, even still, she was taking more time away from such activities and instead wanting to spend time with Obito.

Mikoto thought Obito adorable. She would do as much as pinching his cheeks, to cuddling with him anytime she got.

Putting this fact aside, Obito had already gotten himself settled in. At first, he was slow in building his chakra, but it seemed like he had received a windfall from out of nowhere.

As if something had clicked into place, his chakra reserves were starting to gain momentum. 'All that hard work truly pays off.' Obito smiled a smile that many older ladies would think of as cute.

"Ok then. I need to go on duty now Obito. Go home." Mikoto had escorted Obito to his humble abode.

"Thank you, Lady Mikoto." Obito knew of how to show respect, and replied to the older woman respectfully.

"Just call be elder sister." Mikoto pinched his cheeks again, before saying goodbye and leaving him to return to his home.

Making his way towards the his home, Obito considered the distance wasn't very far. However, it was far enough away from the rest of Konohagakure. Far enough away from even the Uchiha district itself.

It is in the outskirts basically, and the only people living here are Obito and Granny Masumi all by themselves. Coming closer, he saw his home, and was about to run his way closer, before a strange occurrence happens.

An explosion occurs, and in this moment, Obito's heart starts to beat heavily within his chest. Time slows down as he sees Granny Masumi, and leaps into action, knowing full well that she would die if he didn't do anything.

With the body of a three year old, one wouldn't expect much, but he has been physically conditioning himself since the start of his rebirth. Then there is the fact that he has access to chakra, something that would easily allow him to get past his physical barrier.

Even still, he was pushing it as the old lady was close enough to a window. Bursting through, Obito forcefully pushed his small frame to the limits, before applying chakra into his limbs and pushing himself along with Granny Masumi back out the window again.

It was at that moment that another explosion occurred, further pushing him and Granny Masumi out. Holding strong, Obito didn't even notice the change within his eyes.

He was cut in multiple places due to the glass upon entering and upon exit. The back of his black hair that was growing along nicely was singed, while some of his clothing had been burnt off.

'Why is everything red?' Obito thought to himself, not quite understanding his new situation. 'Why is the world spinning...?' He looked at Granny Masumi, to see she was looking at him with wide eyes. "Granny Masumi...?"

"O-Obito... your eyes, you have-..." That was all he heard before falling unconscious.
