5 14 Years Later

14 years later Master Fighter was 1 week from launch

Adam, Lucious and Charlie were currently inside a large training room drenched in sweat and panting while lying on the floor trying to catch their breath

Even though they were dead tired they were grinning from ear to ear

The reason for that was the 30 people lying on the ground in an even worse state than them

Those 30 people are the ones hired by their parents to train them

These 30 in particular are elites from the military which Sam used his connections to hire them to fight the brothers as a final test before Master Fighter came out

These tests had been happening at least once year since they turned 10 years old

Of course at the beginning it wasn't 30, it was just one but as time went by and they improved at a rate beyond common sense they started bringing in more people

The elites at the beginning thought it was shameful to be fighting kids, but after fighting them all these times they had grown to respect the brothers because of their freakish strength potential

Of course this potential was partially due to the system but you can't also discredit their original innate fighting potential

As such, currently, the brothers could take down 230 elites relying solely on their teamwork and martial arts

Of course, due to their near perfect teamwork born from them knowing each other inside out and unconditional trust brought their fighting power up by several folds

Even so this was all relying solely on martial arts, given that they have access to guns, enough cover and favorable terrain they would be able to take down 100 people using tactics

Of course, for that to happen they would need to have the necessary conditions, but it would also be very unlikely for them to have to go up against 100 people, at least, for a while

They had also trained on how to use the sword since they were going to need it for when they got into the game

At the start when the brothers had heard the reason for the hellish training they were gonna go through they were reluctant to accept it, that is until they got a quest and a message from Nerve

The message went [Hey, long time no see, i know you probably want to enjoy your time and all that and should be reluctant to accept the training your parents set up for you, but, i'd advise you take it as it will be helpful for the coming challenges when you guys turn 16, and yesn as you probably have guessed, it does have something to do with the [???????] on your system, also, i'll make some changes to your game cabin to make it more compatible with the system when you guys receive it, so treat the game as a tutorial for what's to come, may you continue your happy life - Nerve ^_^ ]

The message was indeed encouraging but what got them was the quest

Master Fighter is coming out when the host becomes 15 years old, the system has received information that it will be beneficial for the host to play it in preparation for the update when the host turns 16 years old

Objective: Play Master Fighter

Reward: 10 Attribute points and 500 QP

The brothers had gotten a lot of quest during all these years, it was also the reason why they had gotten strong so fast but the usual reward was 1 or 2 AP and 50 or so QP, so, getting a quest where they just had to play a game and got so much rewards of course they would do it

Increases damage dealt by Martial Arts by 188%, each level increases damage dealt by 4%

[Advanced Firearms Shooting](Lv 18/25)

Increases damage and accuracy with firearms by 86%, each level increases damage and accuracy with firearms by 2%

[Advanced Evading](Lv 14/25)

Increases speed of movements necessary to evade attacks by 156%, each level increases speed by 4%

[Intermediate Sword Techniques](Lv 19/20)

Increases speed and damage when using Sword Techniques by 48.5%, each level increases speed and damage when using Sword Techniques by 1.5%

All these skills are a big part of the reason why they are able to take down the 30 elites without so much as getting hit, although, because of these skills they also have to hold back sometimes due to the increase in damage or else they could accidentally kill someone, Martial Arts in particular, as that 188% increase in damage was no joke

They once tested it out by punching a reinforced wall, which resulted in a half a meter dent in said wall

As such they promised themselves never to use their full power on someone unless necessary

After they catched their breath they turned their heads and saw Sam approaching with a smile on his face

"You kids really are a wonder, you'll make the military lose all face if this ever gets out" Sam shook his head, now with a bitter smile on his face

He had to admit that this wasn't the result he was expecting when he planned this training with Sarah all those years ago, he was simply thinking of their security and trying to make them able to fight for a place for themselves when Master Fighter came out, now though, they could get themselves a place in the military if they ever wanted to

Sarah and Cassidy also came at this time, Sarah was carrying a tray with juice and snacks and Cassidy was carrying towels

After giving them their towels Cassidy gave the brothers a thumbs up and said "Since you guys are this good you wouldn't mind helping me out when the game comes out, right?

Even though Cassidy wasn't as good as the brothers and hadn't gotten as much training as them she would still be much better than the average person so they naturally had no reason to disagree, besides the three of them tended to dote on her so they wouldn't refuse her even if she was a complete burden

These 14 years, they had had their schedule completely full because of their training, even though they went to school and weren't antisocial or anything like that it was still hard to maintain relationships so they didn't have anyone they were particularly close to due to that

They also had a some girls who tried to flirt with them recently as their looks weren't bad and they were triplets, even so the three of them ended up politely refusing as because of their past life, to them the girls that tried to flirt with them seemed vain and childish

Even though the brothers weren't the best looking people in the world if you were to compare them to others they would still end up in the top 20%

Their personalities had also changed from each other in all these years

Adam didn't change much but he usually carried himself in a casual way, Charlie ended up developing big brother temper, and Lucious tended to be mischievous and friendly person and was also the reason why they managed to get along with most people in class, his connections even extended to people outside class leading them to have a good "Intelligence Network", even if they rarely had to use it.

They wouldn't admit it but most of the times they used this Network was related to Cassidy because they tended to be overprotective of her, as such they usually did an in depth research on who got close to her

Of course they kept it a secret or else she would probably get mad at them which would make them sad

After agreeing to her and talking for a bit they turned back to Sam and Adam asked "Any new on Master Fighter?"

Sam shook his head and responded "Nothing on the side of useful information, but, I managed to get us 4 cabins in advance so you guys won't have to worry about that"

After saying this Sam smiled and continued "You guys have also done enough training so you can take this week of to rest"

When they heard this the brothers let out a long breath of relief

Even though they had enjoyed getting stronger and seeing their stats and skills increase they were also longing for the day when their training would end

After all they also wanted to make friends and enjoy life, they were currently 15 years old, even if they were older in their past life they hadn't had a very good childhood so they wanted to compensate for that in this life

Cassidy also let out a smile, after all they were currently on school break and she enjoyed spending time with her brothers and getting spoiled by them

Even if she was their sister and was the one who was able to spend the most time with them, most of their time was still taken up by training so she wasn't able to have a good and relaxing time with them besides when they were at school

And so she started to make plans on how to spend this week with her brothers
