29 They are coming

A dog as tall as an adult human stood with forelegs the size of Logan's body. Once an attack hit him, he was sure that he would not survive.

Logan immediately disappeared from his place, running fast, very fast, running wherever he could run. Such a powerful monster was not something he could quickly deal with in his current state.

Logan was still running without looking at where he was going. What he was currently making sure of was only running so fast that it would be difficult for the monster to catch up with him.

Monster Souls living in weapons have the ability to decide and move on their own accord, including issuing the skills needed to ensure the safety of their Master. However, that can only be done quickly by Monster Soul tier 3 and above.

Logan fell to the ground, rolled over, but got back up and ran away.

The giant dog repeatedly appeared instantly in Logan's surroundings, throwing its massive paws. But Logan, also at the right moment, always dodged the attack.

As the name implies, Blink Dog has the ability to move places or teleport at close range. A skill that will be very useful if Logan manages to get it.

Elite monsters are monsters whose occurrence percentage is very tiny. 1 in 1K normal monsters. For this reason, it would also be unwise for Logan to decide to collect Elite monster souls to get their Monster Souls.

Logan jumped onto a tree branch when the dog reappeared and was about to pounce on him.

Logan stopped running. Hundreds of pairs of bright red eyes were watching him from various directions.

The giant dog reappeared in front of him. Just then, hundreds of spiders were running from behind the trees, throwing white and green liquid.

Logan smiled, then disappeared and reappeared on the trees, jumped quickly to the ground, and immediately ran again.

From a distance came a deafening scream, a scream emitted by Blink Dog.

In a state of urgency, Blink Dog will issue a skill in the form of a scream that will destroy the hearing organs of anyone nearby, even to the point of destroying the target's internal organs.

Logan immediately ran for that reason. He didn't want to die a silly death from being caught off guard by the destructive potential of an Elite Monster.

Logan smiled, feeling proud of the knowledge he had. He thought he could quickly conquer this world if he wanted to. Anyone would be subject to his vast knowledge.

Blink Dog reappeared in front of Logan. Its body was filled with a green liquid that melted some of its skin and flesh. The head was also nearly half-crushed, leaving only one eye.

Logan threw the dagger in his hand, which darted fast and stabbed Blink Dog's other eye.

Logan smiled when he realized that this battle was almost over. He dashed forward, darting to the side as the monster threw its claws.

Logan reappeared from the side, thrusting his dagger into the monster's stomach, then he pulled so hard that the monster's entrails burst open and fell to the ground.

Logan pulled his dagger, turned around, and wiped the blood from his dagger. He stood with his back to Blink Dog's body, which fell to the ground with a sound breaking the silence of the night.

"No."

Logan fell to the ground and knelt down, feeling a sense of relief and happiness. He passed the battle that risked his life and death without getting the slightest fatal wound. He passed the challenge successfully.

Logan laughed, opening his mouth wide, facing the sky. His laughter echoed from all around. A single tear appeared from his eye. He had never felt this kind of relief before.

Logan stood up, tore the heart of the Blink Dog, and then found a dark orange stone. An Elite Monster Core tier 3 is something no less valuable than a Monster Soul Stone of a similar tier.

Logan spent the night completing the progress of Soul Collect by hunting back the remaining Wild Steeder and Vegepygmy.

"There's probably a dungeon that hasn't been dealt with from nearby, which is why these monsters got out."

Logan thought clearly, then looked for the exact reason for the strange things in the forest that night. A Dungeon, if not resolved immediately, will indeed make the monsters inside rebel out. That was why the Beris Kingdom needed outside help, as they didn't have enough manpower to do it independently.

Logan woke up in the morning with scars and blood which was now visible in the morning sun.

Logan wasted no time and immediately dashed out of the forest. He had obtained two tier 3 Soul Stones.

Logan arrived at the city gates, again greeted by the same person.

"Hey, Logan."

Logan turned to Eliza, smiled, and waved his hand back.

"Hi, Eliza."

Eliza suddenly froze in place. She didn't expect to get such a reply from Logan. Her body limped and fell because she could not stand because of the shock.

Logan walked through the city streets, occasionally jogging. He found everyone around him watching him with curious and friendly gazes.

"Hey, that's Logan."

"Hey Logan... How are you?"

Logan waved his hand at the dozens of people who greeted him and approached him warmly, no less warm than the sunlight that shone brightly that morning.

Someone was running from a distance, someone who was half the height of a grown man, someone Logan recognized as Fokil, the Dwarf who had lent him the weapon that had helped him.

"Hey kid, are you okay?"

Logan smiled and handed 3 items to the Dwarf. 2 monster soul stones and 1 monster core.

Fokil glared at the object that was now in his hand.

"Make me something powerful, OK?"

Logan ran again and left Fokil frozen in place. Fokil's body limped and fell because he could not stand because of the shock.

Logan finally arrived. The door to the house opened before he could even knock. Sara watched him with a shocked face, then a smile appeared on the woman's face.

"Come inside. Go bath."

Logan nodded his head and immediately ran into the room.

Logan had a long battle, but he didn't feel the least bit tired. His spirit even increased. He wanted to do even greater things.

Logan immediately undressed and went into the bathroom. Flushing away the battle stains and blood that wrapped around his body. Splashing water simultaneously removed feelings of tiredness and restored his energy.

"I didn't know a bath could be this satisfying."

Though faint, Logan heard his bedroom door open. Then the sound of someone running was heard, followed by a loud knock on Logan's bathroom door.

"Brother…. The Elf ship is coming…."

The happiness that Logan felt was increasing and multiplying after finally something he had been waiting for arrived.
