2 Chapter 2: AURUM BLADE ONLINE (Plan, Creation and Beta)

Now we see a futuristic and wonderful cityscape, then we see a white motorcylce which is speeding from the schools direction towards a skyscraper which towets high above anyother buildings

Oh! Before I forget.... *clears throat* my name is Carna the Cardinal A.I, I shouldn't keep you to myself, this is not my story after all. Where was I.... Oh! Yes

Leone revved his hover bike to go over the speed limit since he had a meeting to attend to

So that everyone know: the hover bike uses a "electromagnetic repulser" which is used in fantasy land to negate the earth's natural gravity but in Irl it doesn't do it that way, in theory EMR (Electromagnetic repulser) is used to conduct metals which are non-magnetic like stainless steel, copper, bronze, aluminum, gold, silver, etc. You guys get the gist, the bikes run on the Inertia gained from it moving due to the EMRs which in turn cranks the gears of the generator in motion creating an induced Electromagnetic charge which makes it never need to refuel

Anyways... Enough of the technobable and lets get on the story

"Your telling me that the prototype of the Eon helmet is still in it's prototype stage?" Ace asked with a beffudled look

"Yes sir" said the secretary of the Roces Corp. Ceo

"And why cant you finalize the design of the helmet?"

"The thing is Mr. Hamilton" said the Ceo of Roces Corp; Miguel Roces, " the full dive function leaves the beta testers.... Having some screw loose"

"A miss placed variable?" Ace then looked at his bulky wristband, "can you send me the design of the Eon helmet so that I may know where to tweak its codes and programs"

"Will do sir" says the secretary

"But what about the beta testers?" Ace asked

"They are already being treated" said the Ceo, "and are on the road to recovery"

"Would it be possible that I would be the one doing tge beta tests?" Leone then said as he was looking at the codes and design of the Eon helmet

"Are you serious sir?" asked the secretary

"May I remind you sir Hamilton" says the Ceo, "the Beta testers became brain dead after a few minutes on testing the Eon helmet"

"I will be the one to revise the codes" Ace said as a matter of factly tone, "and plus, who would care for an F-rank like me?"

"May I remind you that if you fall Sc tower's falls with you" Says the Ceo, "and if Sc tower's fall Roces Corp and other major banifactors of the "Link start" Project is going to fall sooner or later"

"May I also remind you that I only finance the Companies" Says Leone looking at his bulky wristband, "and If I fall my Vice-Ceo will take over"

Ace sighed and looked at the design using his linkstarter (bulky wristband), as a holographic board was now floating infront of his face

"And plus with me gone" Leone dismissed the screen, "my sisters wont suffer the curse that is on my head, my name and my past"

"We still need your expertise in this area of technology" says the secretary

"Mr. Hamilton please" Miguel said, "If you fall the "Link start" project falls with you, and may I remind you that you are the only one who knows how to manufacture the Linkstarter"

Ace is now seen inside a labratory with a lot of machines and power tools

"Log entry #791" Leone said as he is working on the Eon helmet, "the helmet is now rebuilt from scratch.. Never knew the Emp emitters would go heywire when it overheats, and will only do so after five to ten minutes of heavy play"

After the black haired boy finished tweaking inside the Eon helmets hardware, he proceded to put the helmet on a dummy

"Tim please activate Eon helmet" Leone ordered

Then Tim proceded to activate the helmet, then the monitor is picking up the synchronizing waves as it shows a steady synchronization

"Looks like were making progress sir" says Tim

"Take it time" Ace says as the helmet whirred and the screen showed itself out of wack, "*sigh* back to the drawing board"

"Sir, may I suggest something?" Tim asked

"I'm all ears Tim"

"Sir, what if we reroute the main frequency scanner and put it on motion fibers on the optic sensors" Tim suggested

Ace looked Tim with a smile that says "never thought of that"

"That is very a good idea" says Ace then proceded to make alterations and smirked at the results made

A few months has passed since the beta stage of the helmets and had gone and are in there alpha stages, due to meticulous testing and preparations... It is now ready for mass production and full dive purposes

"With another month of beta testing on the game" says a woman in her mid twenties, which her job is Ace's secretary, "we may actually finish it before our deadline"

What? What are you guys looking at me like that? Cardinal had told you right?

No? What does that girl even do in this story?! *clears throat* Ace had inherited the Sc towers conglomerate from his late grandfather which is as the name suggest.... There towers... And that they make and innovate new tech

"Thats the good news" Ace said while tinkiring with his holo-keyboard the swiped it to the left and it moved towards where he swiped, "any bad news or something urgent?"

"They are asking about the "Link Start" program sir" says the secretary, "the board of directors are getting a bit restless"

"I am getting near the point on getting it a reality" Ace said frowning, "the only problem is that I haven't gotten much sleep due to the nightmares"

"Nightmares?" asked, "should I call a doctor sir?"

"Its fine Hannah" Replied Ace while pinching the vridge of his nose, "Its a problem I should deal on my own time"

Hannah, the now named secretary nodded and replied: "Yes sir"

Ace sighed and looked at his watch, then looked at Hannah again

"Tell the board that I will finalize everything in a couple of weeks" Ace then swipped his hand towards her, "just after the deadline for Aurum Blade Online game to be announced"

"That's wonderful news sir" Hannah smiled, "I will be sure to tell them the full report"

"Thanks Hannah" Ace then stood up, and the hollow screen vanished, "what am I going to do with you?"

"Jeez sir" Hannah smiled with a blush

"I'll be off now" Ace said walking towards the door, "I still have to work on that project"
