Aurora's POV

I walked down the dusty road that led to the beach. It smelt the same, like dust and the lollies that grew beside.

I could hear the sea already crashing into the cliffs. Just the sound of it sent power coursing through my veins. I felt like jumping off the cliff into the sea, the pull of it was strong, but I walked.

Finally, I got to the beach. It was as deserted as it had been for the last six years and sand warmed my feet.

The water lapped onto the land and then rolled back as if teasing it. I slowly stepped in and basked in the relief I felt.

After soaking for a while, I got to work. The scenting soap smelt exotic like peaches and apricot. I lathed my body then washed off.

I lay in the ocean just enjoying it cool before walking out.

The walk back to my cottage was long and the wind whipped me dry.

Once in front of my cottage, I twirled my hand a a little water washed the sand off my feet.

The fire was still roaring in the hearth and made me warm. Setting off dressing, I slid on my lacy underthings and then my dress.

It was black. The type that shone like leather but wasn't. The bodice hugged my waist and pushed up my breasts. The neckline was cut low enough to show a little skin. The sleeves were long and the rest of the dress flowed like a river down my legs.

I twisted my hair into a low bun, the painted my lips ruby. I finally slipped on leather shoes hidden by my dress and grabbed my bag. It contained money worth six years and some jewelries that belonged to my mother.

I looked round at the cottage that held my life. I decided not to say goodbye, because I was going to make sure to return when everything was over. So, I put out the fire and walked out.

A grey horse was tied behind the cottage so I swung on, snapped the reigns and set off..... to revenge.

**********

The gates of the city was not being watched, so I rode right in. People were all about selling, buying and doing all manner of things. Six years ago, I would have been excited to be there, but now all I felt was hatred towards them.

I tightened my fingers around the reign and rode to my destination.

The house was beautiful, white and blue. The knocker was gold, probably fake. I jumped off my horse and knocked. There was grunting, then the door was thrown open.

He stood there glaring and looking ever the same. His buldging stomach was bigger and his clothes richer. He was chewing on a bone. "what?!" he spat.

I stared him down. "I wish to purchase a house."

He glared. "None available, land is expensive now–"

"I wish to buy one by the sea."

His eyes bulged and he choked on the bone. I watched wheeze till he finally got back his breath. "What!!"

I sighed. "I said, I wish to buy a house by–"

"Don't you know what they say about them houses by the sea?!"

I glared at him sharply. "I do not care! will you get me a house or shall I have to look elsewhere?!"

He sighed. "Hold up, I'll get my horse.

Owner POV

I watched as she looked around. She was stunningly beautiful, like a goddess. Her red lips set in a thin line whenever she saw anything that displeased her and her eyes –blue as ice glared.

Finally she turned to look at me.

"There are a lot of dust and cobwebs...."

I held my breath.

"–but I'll take it..."

my eyes widened in surprise and I released a breadth. "Whew! thank goodness."

"–for a hundred."

my eyes bulged. "wh- what?!!" I sputtered. "Thats only quatre the price!!"

Her blue eyes sharply glared at me. "Do you need me to remind you sir, that this house has been more then five years without an occupant?...."

she stepped closer and leaned in to whisper in my ear. "–and by the sea??"

I swallowed.

She stepped away aburntly. "You can also consider the fact that noone else would buy it."

I sighed. "A hundred then."

Her eyes flashed. "Good, and also I expect it to be adequately furnished and cleaned within two hours before my return, I'll add fifty for that."

I felt like choking. "I'll go bankrupt!!"

She glared at me, her red lips pursed. "Is there a problem Mr Hans?"

I took deep breadths. "No."

"Adequate." Then she turned and walked away.

Aurora's POV

I rode quietly through the busy toads looking for something –someone, then I found her.

A girl with dirty brown hair was in a bawl with a fat woman. The woman was red with rage and reminded me of whistling kettle.

"After all I have done for you–" She was yelling.

The girl pulled against her grasp. "I didnt take it Ma'am honest!"

The woman shook the girl hard. "Ive fed and clothed you, and what do I get?! a stealing rat!!"

That seemed to tick the girl off. She shoved the fat woman hard. "I am as filthy as the day you got me skank!!"

then she ran off.

The fat woman shook her fist after her.

I watched from a distant and followed the girl.

She was sitting on a dirty doorstep boiling but not crying.

I jumped off my horse and she looked up. Her brown eyes narrowed. "Who are you?!"

I gazed at her cooly. "My name is Aurora and I am here to offer you employment."

She looked at me like I was speaking Chinese. "What?!"

I raised a brow. "Do you not understand English?"

I was actually surprised she spoke good english

She glared. "Of course I do!! Why would you give me a job?!!"

I shrugged. "You look homeless and in need of food. I'm offering you the position of head maid."

Her eyes bulged out of their sockets, the she looked away gathering herself. "And how am I sure that you aren't some kidnapper?"

"You aren't."

She stared at me for a while and finally stood up. "What do I ride on?".
