Chapter 5 Wand, Exercise and Kings Cross

No POV

"You need a wand, then step forward." Garrick speaks to Aurel.

[AN: I won't write much about the wand]

Aurel steps forward to the counter and Ollivander memorizes his face.

"Hello Mr Ollivander, shall we start?"

"You're really in a hurry, but that's not a problem .... You may like this, a plain juniper wand. In length, it is seven and one-quarter inches long. This wand's core is dragon claw."

Aurelius takes the wand and moves it as if to curse someone, but the wand only draws the loop worn by Mr Ollivander to which he gets almost no more air.

Garrick unties his neck loop, takes the neck out of the boy's hand and says "I don't think it fits."

Aurel tries one after the other wand, one is eight and one-half inches long. The core consists of hippocampus mane.

The wand does not fit the next wand is twelve inches long. It has a core of kraken heartstring.

Also not the right one after plenty of tests he tests one that is 12 inches long made out of blackthrone wood and thunderbird tail feather core.

"Magic wands with thunderbird tail feather as core retain the scent of the original being and can independently send curses in case of danger."

When Aurel held the wand in his hand he felt powerful, very powerful, like he could defeat anyone. He made a movement and light came out of the tip of the wand.

"So be it, This wand. I didn't make it myself and it's extremely mysterious. It will serve you well, I'm sure" 

"Thank you very much, so what do you get for the wand, Mr Ollivander" Aurelius asks the wand maker.

"Ten gallons."

Aurel hand's him his wages and thank's him before he leaves the shop and make his way to Twilfitt and Tattings to meet Narcissa and Draco there.

When the boy arrived at the meeting point, they were already there and waiting for him.

"There you are, the robes and the other things are done, everything is being brought home by Dobby. Now it's time to go home, come to my side, each of you take a hand from me, then we are already at home."

Doing as directed, Draco and Aurelius each step to either side of their mother and take her hand.

And suddenly they Apparated away both had a feeling of nausea and vomiting but managed to stand up.

Once home, draco grabbed his brother's Brookstick and flies around the mansion.

Aurelius sat down at his desk and reread a book on Legilmency that he received on his birthday. He made every step without a magic wand, then with his wand but without a (victim) it looked boring.

In the evening he went to bed and continued practicing beginner spells, like lumos and nox, until he fell asleep with his wand in hand due to tiredness.

The next day, Lucius said he needed to speak to his sons in the parlor.

Lucius sat in the parlor that evening at the end of the long black table with the fireplace lit.

As his sons entered, he directed them to sit down. Aurelius takes place on his father's right and draco on his left.

"You know that we as purebloods are the only true wizards who should have the right to call us wizards. The filthy mudbloods are not worthy of magic or the title of a wizard or witch.

You may have noticed sometimes that these incompetent muggles annoyed me, or your mother. Sometimes that happens, you get angry, it is important that we keep our thoughts to ourselves as long as there are witnesses.

If you are alone at some point, you can insult and curse the person but always think about when the time is right. We as Malfoys have a status to uphold, the ministry and other powers are looking over our shoulder. We need to know the right time to take the right action 

Aurelius, when you're going to Hogwarts, you've got to take care of yourself. There are friends and enemies and those who pretend to be friends, remember you represent the family.

The same applies to you draco, you will enter the halls of hogwarts in a few years. 

You both are my greatest pride and now go to bed, it's getting late." He hugged his sons and they went to their rooms to sleep.

Draco was tired after many flights and lost himself in a dream as he lay on the bed. Aurelius spent most of the day experimenting with the magic wand. 

He felt ready to use Legilmentics, and once he was about to, as Dobby turned his back to put Aurel's socks in the wardrobe.

But Aurelius resisted and continued to practice Legilmency. Outside he tested it on small animals like squirrels, rabbits and birds.

Even though there was a rule that no one under the age of 17 was allowed to cast a spell outside of Hogwarts, Aurel felt safe.

So after he was sure, Aurelius got out of bed and went into his brother's room while he made a few noises, but nothing too loud that could wake him up or to alert his parents.

He opened the door to his brother's room and crept over to the bed, took out his wand, aimed it at his brother's head and whispered softly "Legilmency" after making the appropriate movement with the magic wand.

It felt like a series of pictures, many pictures from Diagon Alley. In some where he's riding a broomstick, but then the images stop moving and Aurelius flies out of his brother's head.

Draco also looked surprisingly focused as if he was using Occlumetics while he slept that was very impressive.

Aurelius was surprised by his brother, he always seems not to listen much during the lessons with Snape, but apparently he listens and practices Occlumetics diligently too. But one should not deceive oneself.

Draco's Occlumency in his sleep was far from good, the problem is, Aurelius had damn little experience with Legilmency.

He's been practicing pronunciation and wand movement for two days, but he just started practicing with animals.

He was sure that's necessary to practice more to be able to read the mind of a person who had shields.

He went back to his room lay on his bed and fall asleep

Aurelius POV

Today is the day, today is the first september, the day of my school enrollment.

I'm wearing some good looking black chino pants, a black vest with syllabic accents, and a white shirt with buttons.

I wear a black tie with the hogwarts sigil on my neck. my necklace, of course, under my shirt, the emblem ring on my index finger and the pocket watch in my waistcoat on a silver chain. 

Draco got dressed formally too and couldn't wait to see Kings Cross.

I also carry an enchanted bag that looks like a black briefcase. There is enough space for my school stuff and a few other books.

"We're going through the floo network again, Your father could reserve a compartment for you, it's right at the front."

"Be ready, I'll come with you today." Says father while we get ready by the floo fireplace.

"You know how it works, but this time you say Kings cross, platform nine three-quarters."

We both nod and I take some floo powder go into the chimney and throw it on the floor when I said "Kings cross, platform nine three-quarters."

Once again there was this harmonious magical atmosphere that can distract you so much.
