1 Prophecy

Ryu's POV

It's been four years since the last problem with the Oracle aka Aiden. I'm still in prison but I'm not mad or annoyed about staying here. I've allowed my parents and Demon aka Ada to visit me so my parents have been meeting me as frequently as possible but Ada couldn't face me, until today.

I was sitting on the floor with Demon in front of me. She avoided eye contact and she looked really troubled about something. The whole time she was looking around, playing with her fingers like a little child.

"So it's been how long? 4 years?" I asked

"Yea. 4 years." replied Demon

"How long has it been in hell?" I asked

She looked up and rubbed the back of her neck.

"2 days." she replied

I looked at my hands and rubbed my eyes.

"Ryu I... I'm so sorry." she apologized

"It's been 4 years Demon." I sighed, "Yet I still can't forgive you."

"How can I earn your trust?" she asked

"Demon you see, the problem with our relationship was that there was no communication." I said

"I know and I'm sorry." she replied

"You shouldn't be the only one apologizing. I didn't tell you some things either." I said

She stayed silent until she took a deep breath.

"Ryu, I still have feelings left for Aiden." she said

"As expected." I replied

"I hope you... understand." she said

"I don't understand." I sighed, "Demon do you realize that, I can't get over you?"

"I'm sorry Ryu, I don't want to betray you again." she replied

My heart sank and I just gently hit the force field.

"Ryu, there are still other versions of Aiden out there." she said, "I've been searching for the one who's mostly identical with-"

"Sorry to cut you off but that sounds like Lydia." I said

Demon rubbed her face and looked at me.

"Why did you even come if you're going to tell me this?" I asked, "I rather have not known about this."

"I came to ask for your forgiveness." she said

I took out a cigarette and lit it.

"Forgiveness?" I questioned, "Then I have a request."

I looked at her.

"Let's start over." I said

Demon nodded in agreement.

"My name's Ryu Kim." I greeted

"Name's Ada, Ada Kami." she said

She smiled a bit but then the doors opened and Aneko came in. When she saw us her eyes widened but then slightly frowned.

"I'll come back tomorrow." said Ada

I nodded and she teleported away.

"Oi Ryu, you haven't seen her in a pretty long time." said Aneko

"Yea, 4 years." I said

"What did she say?" asked Aneko

"She apologized for her actions but she still has feelings for Aiden, not me." I replied

"I see." replied Aneko

I looked at Aneko as she sat on the floor.

"Aneko, there's something I want to tell you." I said

She looked at me with curiosity.

"I still have feelings for Ada." I said

Aneko's expression became grim but she didn't look mad.

"I see." whispered Aneko

She sighed and rubbed her neck.

"Why?" asked Aneko

"I just can't get over her. I guess it's because she was the first to ever make me feel wanted until Aiden." I said, "I'm sorry Aneko, I'm sorry I don't feel the same way you feel about me."

Aneko stayed silent.

"It's okay." she replied

But I knew she was lying since I had the Matrix.

"Aneko I understand-"

"Stop, it's okay really." she cut me off

I felt awful, I never really rejected a girl except for the queen but that was when I was dating Ada.

"I uhh think I'm going to go." said Aneko

"Wait, you just got here though." I replied

But she just gets up and leaves me feeling really guilty. I groaned and flopped onto my bed and thought about it. I'm the type to give up if something doesn't work twice but for some reason, even though Demon betrayed me twice I can't seem to give up on her.

'Maybe I should, no but I can't force myself to love Aneko that's not how it works.'

I shook my head and just went to sleep.

Lydia's POV

"Oi Ada what did Ryu say when you told him that?" I asked

"He still has feelings for me." sighed Ada

"That's not what I expected." said Kishimoto

Ada shook her head and rubbed her forehead.

"Did he at least forgive you?" I asked

"He did." replied Ada

"What about Thunderbird?" I asked

"I didn't get to ask him." said Ada, "Aneko walked in."

"Aneko has been visiting him non stop." sighed Kishimoto

Ada sighed and sat on a chair.

"I just wish the best for him. I'm not the right person for him." said Ada

"But you don't really have feelings for him." I said

"I don't, but I still feel bad for him." said Ada, "I wish I never went to him in the first place."

"If you didn't don't you think either one of you would be dead?" asked Kishimoto

"Probably." sighed Ada

"I can't believe you still have room in your heart left for Aiden." I sighed, "He played you your entire life."

"I don't believe that." replied Ada, "I would have known."

"Maybe or maybe not." sighed Lydia

That's when Kurt came into the locker room.

"We might have a problem." said Kurt

"How big?" I asked

"Not as big as the Oracle." replied Kurt

The three of us got up and followed him into the control room.

"You see, 4 years ago Ryu told me that before Oracle took the Matrix he sliced it." said Kurt

"Huh? Why didn't you tell us that earlier?" I asked

"Well we didn't think it was a problem since Ryu had the Matrix in him." replied Kurt

"Okay how did you find out?" asked Kishimoto

"We didn't really find out, Aerin had another vision." replied Kurt, "But this one, she can't determine what's being foretold."

We entered a separate office and Aerin was there and she looked really disturbed.

"Aerin." called out Kurt

She snapped out of her thought and nodded at Kurt.

"Sorry I'm just... very disturbed." she sighed

"Can you please explain your vision?" asked Kurt

Aerin nodded so we all took a seat in front of her.

"I saw... I saw Ryu." she said

Her hands were trembling.

"He wasn't the same, he was different. As in different I mean... I felt a terrible evil presence in him." she said

'Ryu becoming evil?'

"Ryu was standing over a burning capital and he was playing around with all of your heads. Juggling them as if they were his toys." said Aerin

My eyes widened and I felt fear enter my heart.

"And the Matrix, there were three bright colorful lights which represent the Matrix. Three of those lights make up one. So that means, Ryu has one, there's one in the Matrix cube but we don't know where the other went." said Aerin

I looked over to Ada and she looked scared as well.

"I think... I think Ryu will betray us all." said Aerin

I shook my head in denial, Kishimoto looked like he was thinking and Ada looked like she was lost for words.

"So what do you think?" asked Kurt

"I don't believe it." I said

"Aerin's visions are never wrong." said Kurt

"Ryu's not the person who's going to betray us." I said

"Yea, Ryu's not like that." said Kishimoto, "He would rather quit than do something like that."

"What about you Demon?" asked Kurt

"I... I don't think it's the Ryu we know. What if it's a different Ryu?" asked Ada, "No that doesn't make sense cause he has the Matrix."

Ada sighed and looked miserable.

"Is it because of me?" questioned Ada

That's when the sirens started blaring.

"All hands to the prison system! Ryu broke free!" yelled a voice

"All hands to the prison! Keep your distance and do not recklessly engage!" yelled Kurt into his radio

"No... Ryu can't be..." I whispered

I can now teleport on my own so the three of us teleported back on Earth Prime and there were a bunch of knights of Earth Prime and MVA marines standing in front of the entrance.

"Good thing the prison isn't in the capital." sighed Kishimoto

I saw Aragorn in the front but he didn't have his weapon drawn.

'He's very loyal to Ryu.'

"Are all the guards inside out?" asked Kishimoto

"No sir, none of them are responding." replied a Marine

That's when I heard a blood crying scream inside and everyone stiffened up. A body crashed through the door and I caught the guard, he was alive but injured.

"Ryu- Ryu-" stuttered the guard

His entire body was shaking as if he was having a seizure.

"There!" yelled a knight

I looked into the prison which was dark but I saw a human figure. It began to slowly walk out and I noticed that it was Ryu, his head hanging down so I couldn't see his face. His body was shooting red lightning bolts which was his strongest lightning.

"Ryu..." gasped Ada

"Sir..." whispered Aragorn

He came out of the prison and into the light.

"Ryu, stand down." I said

Ryu stopped walking and slowly lifted his head and my eyes widened. His eye, his left eye, the one where the Matrix eye was supposed to be glowing blue was now red. He was also crying blood out of that eye and his other was also glowing red.

"Something's... coming." whispered Ryu

He lifted his hand up and Ada stood in front of us ready to do something but Ryu just collapsed on the ground. Ada approached him and picked him up but then Ryu gasped and sat up and backed away.

"W-what the? Why am I out of my cell? Why is everyone..." Ryu trailed off and touched his blood

"Ryu are you okay?" asked Ada

"I... I guess." he replied

He covered his left eye with his hand and sighed.

"Did I kill anyone?" he asked

"I don't know." replied Ada

"Okay everyone disperse!" yelled Aragorn

"Here let me-"

"I'm fine, it's just..." sighed Ryu, "I saw something."

Ryu got up and wiped the blood off his face.

"What did you see?" I asked

Ryu shrugged.

"I don't know." he replied

"You're lying." said Ada

"I am." bluntly replied Ryu, "I don't want to talk about it."

"Ryu." whispered Ada

She grabbed his arm.

"What did you see?" she asked

Ryu stared into her eyes then looked away and pulled his arm away.

"Myself." he replied

I raised an eyebrow confused but Ada grabbed his arm again.

"Don't walk away, we're not done talking." she snapped

"Look, all I saw was myself, that's it." said Ryu, "If there was more I would have told you but that's all I saw."

Ryu pulled his arm away aggressively and sighed.

"That's all I saw." he repeated

Ada had her hand out but she balled it into a fist and nodded.

"Okay." she replied

"Ryu sir we'll be taking you back to your prison." said Aragorn

"Yea thanks." said Ryu

But then Aneko came out of nowhere, I supposed she ran here.

"Ryu what happened?" asked Aneko

"Something... I'll explain it tomorrow." said Ryu

And with that Ryu nodded to Aragorn and he led him back into the prison.

"What happened?" asked Aneko

"He broke loose but then his Matrix eye was glowing red instead of blue." I said, "Then he collapsed and woke up not remembering what he did."

"I see." sighed Aneko

Aragorn came back out.

"He's back in his prison but I think you might want to check the camera feed." said Aragorn

He led us into the prison and I watched as knights were helping the wounded, some parts of the prison were destroyed. One soldier was stuck inside a wall, literally only his head was sticking out. There was no sign of someone throwing him into the wall, it almost looks like someone just hung a head on the wall.

"Here." said Aragorn

He got to the main camera room and began typing on the monitor. A screen popped out and showed us a camera footage pointed at Ryu's prison. At first there was nothing happening but then Ryu started shaking his head and he started pacing around his cell.

Then he started hitting his head on the wall, gently at first but then he started to go crazy and hit himself harder on the wall. He then hit it really hard once then looked up at the camera and I saw that his eyes were red and he started to cry out blood.

Guards who were on duty tried to detain him by releasing gas into his prison but then Ryu just created two portals and entered one and came out of another. The guards backed up but they got around him and all attacked him at once but then the guards went flying up into the air and hit the ceiling before falling on the floor.

After that it began showing Ryu just walking away, guards getting thrown all over the place even though Ryu's not touching them. Even a couple MVA marines came and started blasting him with their energy guns that can shoot through any kind of metal since it's extremely hot.

"Why did they shoot him?" asked Aneko

"I don't know I wasn't here." replied Aragorn

But Ryu froze all of them in the air and walked right past it and the line of soldiers tried to run away but Ryu began to pull them all in close to him and when they got about 5 feet away he blew all of them into the wall and all of them went through it.

"Is this his doing?" I asked

"He doesn't seem to remember anything." replied Aragorn

"Looks like we have another huge problem." said Kishimoto
