4 04. The Turmoil (2)

Fast forward: SEVEN years later, in the main headquarter of Blood Butterfly.

"Greetings to Your Bloodiness!" The thick coat of respect reverberates through the dark night. Crowds grovel down at the arrival of their master.

"There's a betrayer among us. Beng Gong does not tolerate betrayers and they will be severely punished for their betrayal, "I smirk, blowing the red silk masking my beautiful sexy face that'll bring the goddesses to shame, "Beng Gong awaits."

Don't judge by my young voice, yes, I am eleven, but who the hell gives you the right to judge?

I smile at their reactions, fear, pity, hatred, well, that's fun.

They know that captured betrayers will be tortured severely, slicing into tiny pieces to feed the beasts, burning of the skin, digging out of eyes, or sent to be tested for medication inventions.

Their lives will be living hell.

Yep, exciting, is it not?

Now known as Blood Butterfly.

Having learnt that not only being the princess of Southern Lasombra Kingdom, but also the royal of an ancient tribe, Blood Butterfly. I have learnt all these from the wall arts of a cave in the forest.

Since millions of years ago, the people of Blood Butterfly who inherited the bloodline can grow wings from their backs, mostly specialised in Music, Dance, and Seductive arts.

They were born beautiful, their bones when brewed in the soup can be used for lengthening lives, their hair could be used for making best cloth, wings could be cut off and used as medicine.

Therefore, after their powerful reign over other tribes, during their downfall, they were hunted and used for those purposes since the ancient times until the tribe was almost extinct.

Only royalty's hair can change colour according to their emotions, sometimes quite useful, but most... not that much efficiency. Like mine.

Demon.

Many of them went to hiding and the only remaining royalty, a Princess escaped, changed her name, to Willian Lasombra, illusionised her face and created the Southern Lasombra Kingdom.

So Lasombra was created a million years ago, currently being the country with the deepest history.

However, this was far history and most books about this ancient tribe had been burnt by Willian so people only knew that Willian Lasombra, a farmer's daughter with strong martial arts and War Arts who found Lasombra kingdom.

I have also burnt that cave depicting the history of Blood Butterfly, I will not allow anything or anyone to use that against me. Because for one, the royalty of Blood Butterfly has violet eyes, and people now will call us monsters or something, that will be no good to us.

Us, as in mother and me myself.

I found Blood Butterfly and gathered many of the descendants of Blood Butterfly and other tribes that once sworn their loyalty to Blood Butterfly, as the royal, I can sense their blood- faintly. But with many other non-descendants too, as followers.

Blood Butterfly was found 5 years ago and it had developed under my rule to become one of the topmost powerful influences around but our real identity remained mysterious to the outside world.

It is demanding, but it will have to do.

Everything has changed. Me, mother, everything.

----------- Southern Lasombra Kingdom in General Oboi's Manor.

Third person's perspective.

"Minister Oboi, why do you still try to escape?" The door opens, a beautiful woman steps in, a friendly smile hanging on her lips.

Like a rose.

Deadly.

Yet, beautiful.

Oboi glares at her, anger and distaste obvious on his face."This is MY manor how can you a WOMAN dare to threaten me!"

He knows, that this queen has gained authority over the harem, he will respect her for that, after all, that Diana Dong is a real madwoman, fighting with her is tough. But, but she's a woman, how can a woman gain power like last time?

If looks could kill, she would have withered and died a thousand times.

"Minister Oboi, what are you talking about?" She tilts her head slightly, her violet eyes are wide and innocent.

"Are you not Beng Gong's minister? Your father and even your forefathers served Beng Gong's family, are you saying that you wanted to cause a riot and forget your Ebilun Family's swear of loyalty to the Lasombra? That's a very big charge there."

She sneers at him as if he is the most disgusting thing.

" Enough, Oboi, Beng Gong has run out of patience," she looks to Mina, her subordinate.

Mina gets the cue and takes out a thin booklet.

"Thirteen years ago, during the Great Famine, Great General Oboi was instructed to give a million of silver to help the people, took down five hundred thousand. Your Highness this is the proof."

"Ah yes, five hundred thousand, Beng Gong can buy some nice dresses. Dear General Oboi..." Cordelia takes the booklet and drops it in front of Oboi Ebilun.

Bullshit. They all know that the Queen is in control of the harem, probably being the richest woman in the whole country. Since when is a rich person that petty?

Oboi's eyes widen rapidly, hearing his dirty past being revealed. He covered his tracks so carefully how did they know?

"As long as Your Highness is willing to let me go I, Great General Oboi Ebilun is willing to be your sword." Oboi knows her goal and kneels down, fear shining in his eyes, my daughter, cannot die with me.

"Of course, Great General, as long as Beng Gong gets a bite of meat, you will get a gulp of soup too." Cordelia gestured for him to get up.

"But, one thing..."

Yeah, this is how Cordelia Lasombra gets men into her political party now.

Recipe to the Path of gaining support.

Step 1: Sweet talk and bribe. Doesn't work? Move to Step 2.

Step 2: Use a voluptuous and seduce them into agreeing. Doesn't work? Move to Step 3.

Step 3: Find their faults, fake or not.

And that's the grand mixture.

Support of ministers. Military power. Hearts of people.

She has two ticked off.
