I looked at my system book and observed my status. It's been a few months since I regained my memories, and I started to slowly change in front of my parents.

But I still had to act like a little kid from time to time, which made me earn the acting skill. This skill, along with the others I learned, was from moving around the house and being able to regain full motor functions.

With these skills, they filled four status spots out of the 12 slots, It could've been four slots, but the gift Prodigy changed it and added 8 slots.

This would be helpful, but at the same time, I felt a little annoyed since I'll have more skills in the future, and I'll have to think of the future and choose them wisely.

But for now, I'll just worry about these four skills and try to find their limits. But I speculate that their limits would just be the same as the status which 20.

" Look, he's reading a book." My mother whispered to my father as who nodded excitedly.

The two of them came back from their missions and my father was telling my sister about their Feats while I buried my head into the book.

The two of them are currently in the scout regiment and because I have a feeling something might go wrong in the future I decided to keep my distance from them which caused them to worry.

The past few months my mother has been worried than ever especially since she just got back from her fist mission since she's okay going back to work.

I ignored them and continued looking through my book and observed my status.

My Agility and strength went up because of moving around and climbing the bookshelf to reach for the books as well as crawling around the house once I gained functions on my arms amd legs which went to walking.

I have ask gained more intelligence because of the books I've read during the night time amd thanks to Cat-like-body. I am able to have nightvision and read them at night.

' I should see if I could learn stealth of I could hide from my parents...' I wondered to myself as I felt the book in my hands leave.

I looked up to my mother holding it as she carried my to my room.

" Alright mister, it's bedtime." She kissed cheek and tucked my into bed and left the room.

I stared at the ceiling in silence trying to plan a way to get that book back tonight while trying not to go crazy by my sisters snoring.

" Guess I'll have to steal it back." I muttered.

" Sigh, Honey, can you take Cain to the hospital tomorrow?" I heard my mother speak to my father as I glanced behind the door.

" The doctor? Why is he getting sick?" My dad showed concern as he stopped whatever he is doing.

I observed the room with my analytical eyes and spotted my book on the table next to the door.

' There we go.' I felt my luck kicking in as I reached for it.

" Well. I could take him to Dr. Yeager in the morning. What are you going to do?"

" I have to go to the market with Hange to get some groceries and supplies for our next mission." She replied.

" Alright, let's get some sleep."

" Hm."

I grabbed the book and slowly retreated back to my room. And once I opened the book I saw another skill.

The requirement was higher than my status, which means I can't use it yet.

" Damn it." I cursed under my breath impaled my book under my pillow before trying to go to sleep but the conversation of my parents resurfaced.

' Yeager.... so I guess I'll finally see Grisha in the morning.' I thought as I tried to make a few plans in my head.
