34 Levi Against the Recruits

After completing their training, Levi and his squad rode back to the camp, Upon entering their gathering house that they were in earlier, The squad frowned at the sight of the destroyed house with hange sleeping in the middle of it, she was sleeping in a weird position, her neck was on the floor and her legs are raised up as she leaned on the wall to support her body

Levi's eyes scanned the room that he left clean and perfect before, He turned back at Ace with cold eyes that says ' This is because of you '

"I am going to see if all the new recruit went to sleep or not…If I came back and this room isn't cleaned…I will clean the room with your face" he then left the house heading towards the big gathering house, he can see lights still on in there

"WHAT?! You can't be serious Captain Beyblade, I didn't do anything, It's hange who destroyed the house, why should I be the one to be punished?!" Ace pleaded for his innocent but it didn't land in Levi's ears, Levi was already far from them to hear Ace's words

Oluo touched Ace's shoulder with a cool smile " Don't worry Vice-Captain, we got your back" Petra and the rest joined too. How could they let their Vice-captain who saved their last bottle of Alcohol!

"You guys…! Then I am counting on you" Ace ran out of the house leaving Oluo and co, dumbfounded

"THAT'S NOT WHAT WE MEANT!!" they screamed on top of their lungs at Ace who was already far to hear them, Thier screams even woke up the drunk Hange

"What?! It's morning already?"

Petra looked at the source of their trouble and said with annoyance " Please, Just go back to sleep already" Surprisingly Hange listened and went back to sleep

"Why does everyone takes our words literally?" Petra face-palmed herself

Ace who was running in the darkness of the night from his squad, was heading to the Boys dorms to sleep, it's now 2 PM and all of the recruits are either sleeping or still in the gathering house, The poor ones who aren't sleeping yet will face an already angry Levi

After running for a good distance from his squad, Ace stopped running and just walked, he is already tired from all that jumping in the air earlier

In front of him, a lone figure could be seen walking, Immediately Ace thought it was Levi as it was short as him but thanks to the moonlight Ace saw the green hair of the boy.

"Oi! You there…" Ace walked behind the boy and tapped on his shoulder, the boy turned to look at him with a surprised face, he found Ace right behind him

'I didn't feel him at all' thought the boy, he wondered how could Ace walk behind him without him even noticing

"What are you doing here at this late hour?"

"…I could ask the same thing from you? What is Lord Braveheart doing here at this late hour? " The boy avoided Ace's question swiftly

"Just strolling…and you?"

"Noble minds think the same, huh?" Said the boy with a smile on his face

"You're a Noble?!" Ace didn't expect for this little boy to be a Noble, he didn't give the normal vibe of a noble's son

"Yes. Let me introduce myself, I am Julius Reiss, I am Lord Rod Reiss' Nephew. It is a pleasure to meet you." The boy extended his hand to Ace for a handshake, Ace looked at his hand for a moment before looking at Julius' face

" Yes! It is ." Ace shook Julius hands lightly " So, where are you heading, Julius?"

"To the main gathering house, I am planning to stay there for a little" Julius pointed at the only building that has light still on

"You should abandon that idea, I saw captain Levi heading there earlier." Ace patted Julius' shoulder before leaving

"Thank you for the advice, Lord Braveheart " he smiled and bowed a little towards Ace who waved at him without turning to look at him

But Ace stopped suddenly when he remembered something, he turned to Julius with a colder face than earlier "Um! I don't know how to say this but...The next time I see you bothering my wife, being Rod's nephew or whatever won't help you... So be careful " Ace then left Julius who even after hearing Ace's words, his smile never left his face.

As soon as Ace's figure faded inside the darkness, Julius' gentle expression from before was nowhere to be found, he looked at the direction Ace came, he saw The Levi squad's dorm in the distance.

"Strolling you say?!... First I found that Historia is Married and now the Levi squad is here. This must be the 1st Reincarnator's work" Julius face twisted into an angry expression before he left towards his dorm. The reach his goals more easily, Historia was necessary and now she is not unavailable his plans are harder to achieve but not impossible, If the 1st didn't interfere that is.

Back at Levi who was heading towards the main house. Levi entered and found a bunch of young man and women who were drinking and eating shockingly luxurious food. Those were the noble children who joined the military according to their parents' wishes. Levi's anger reached another level as he witnessed the spoiled kids eat their supplies for the next two days

Levi was so angry that he closed the door behind him and proceeded to shove the leftover food into the arrogant children and making them puke it just so they can eat their own puke. Of course, Levi didn't touch any of that shit, he prefers to die rather than touching someone's puke.

Most of them tried to threaten Levi with their status as nobles, You know, the Cliché " My father is important and I will make him make you pay for this"

Unfortunately for them, Levi was humanity's strongest soldier and a few Nobles wouldn't dare to punish him. Besides, the military is already under the braveheart family's wing. If Noble wants something done in the military, he needs to go through Roger first.

After being done from making the kids eating their own puke, Levi didn't send them back to the dorm, but he let them in the main building to spend the night inside the cold and hard floor.

Shit, Even Ace wouldn't dare to go against Levi's orders like this, eating the military supplies is an unforgivable act, especially for Levi. Supplies are the most important thing for the soldiers, inside the walls or outside, since the amount of food and the date for it being delivered is fixed. seeing it being wasted like that, Levi couldn't let it slide.

Like that everyone went to sleep, some are having it bad while some are sleeping like logs.

Morning came and the sun rose up at 6 AM, Oluo, Gunther, and Eld went to wake up the male recruits while Petra went to wake the girls up.

" WAKE THE FUCK UP! YOU ROCKHEADS!! THE LAST TO WAKE UP WILL CLEAN THE DORMS IN THE EVENING!" Oluo shouted as soon as he opened the door scaring the boys, some dropped off their beds while others got up but their eyes still closed

"WEAR YOUR UNIFORM AND HEAD TO THE TRAINING FIELD," Gunther informed the boys as he left. the three men turned to leave after informing the recruits but Eld saw Jean still sleeping, all of em stopped and went to jeans bed.

"So, we were talking to ourselves" He grabbed Jean's leg and dragged him outside

"WH!!.."Jean hit his head on the floor "Whatis going on?!" he questioned but he saw The Levi squad members dragging him, his face became pale.

"Wait, please! wait! let me wear clothes first" jean pleaded

"Eld, No need, you will train like this...Also, in the evening, you will clean the dorm and the bathrooms too" The rest of the recruits heard Jean's punishment and felt sorry for him, The bathroom looks like a monkey was shiting there. Hell, even the walls are dirty and that excluding the smell.

"Poor guy," Said Eren, he didn't want to be in jeans place

"Then how about you go help him," said Ace, he took out his uniform and wore it " He looks like he needs some help"

"HELL NO!!" shouted Eren surprising Ace

Seeing Ace's surprised face, Armin said: " They fought yesterday."

Ace took some time to process the information ' Ah! yeah, something like that did happen' Ace remembered that Jean and Eren fought in their first day in the show but he forgot about such small details

after the boys finished wearing their clothes they went to the training field. Levi was already waiting for them. The girls came back later and joined them. And lastly, The nobles who spent the night sleeping in the great hall came too, their smell was bad and their faces looked terrible, everyone kept some distance from them

"Today we will do some martial arts training. After the three years training is over, you will be separated into 3 groups; The Garisson Squad, The Military police and lastly the survey squad" Said Levi, he began to walk from said to side in front of them " For those who will go to the Military squad Martial arts are crucial, most of the time you deal with humans and humans can fight and ODM gears don't always work, you may engage someone in a closed space. Now your ODM gear has no effect. Then what next?" Levi looked at them for an answer

"Uh, we still have the rifles that would be given to us by the military police " Said Marco, his Answer was kinda correct and makes sense and almost all recruits agreed with him.

"Those rifles can shot one time and need a few moments to reload. Do you have the skill to shoot all your target with one shot, Assuming of course that you won't miss" said Levi making Marco shut his mouth along with all the others who agreed. " In those moments that your rifle need to be reloaded, The criminals will take the chance and attack, and all you have left is your hands. If you're skilled enough you can take on anyone that will attack you and you won't even need a rifle to begin with"

"Oluo, Eld Show them.." Levi commanded as Oluo and Eld faced each other with the recruits paying attention with some who seem not that interested

Oluo took out his bland and charged at Eld with fast speed, Eld quickly redirected his blade to the side took hold of his hand and touched a pressure point in Oluo's arm making him drop his blade and fall on his knees, Eld leisurely took Oluo's blad and pointed it at Oluo's neck " You died..." He smirked at Oluo

"Tch...It was only training"

These twos movements were so fast that recruits couldn't see clearly but they were still astonished

"So strong. I will do that " said Eren, his eyes are sparkling from the excitement which caused Ace to frown ' Glad someone can enjoy training in this cold morning ' he thought as he put his hands inside his pants pocket

" Now. Oluo and Eld will repeat this move and another set of moves for you to remember. From now till 1 PM, you all will have to remember these moves and be able to execute them..." Levi looked at the recruits with cold eyes "...As you may know, you will all have to perform them in the evening a,d if you don't...your chance in getting into the military Polic will go down drastically."

Levi then brought a chair and sat under the shades as all the recruits formed pairs to train following Oluo's instructions

"Captain Levi.." Jean went to Levi and looked at him with nervousness

"What is it Jhon?" said Levi

"It's Jean Sir...I have a request to make"

"Speake yourself"

"Sir, if I completed the moves first will you pardon me from cleaning the dorms and the bathrooms?" Jean wasn't ready to see the horrors in the bathroom according to a few people who were there yesterday

Levi looked at Jean for a moment as he saw the boy's unwillingness, he then turned to look at his squad members who scratched the back of their heads awkwardly, by all honest means they don't have the power to give punishment to anyone, but since the recruits don't know they're enjoying themselves

"So be it...Now get the hell out off my face" said Levi causing Jean to feel like he was on cloud nine

"Thank you sir!" he saluted Levi by putting his fist on his heart then left to try learning the moves as hard as he can, like hell he was gonna clean other people's shit.

5Hourse of this repetitive training went by like a flash. The Levi squad finished showing the moves in one hour and after making sure everyone remembers them they left them and joined Levi and the cool shades while the recruits are burning under the sun

Ace took off the black scarf that he always carries on whenever he goes and wrapped it around his head to protect his head from the sun.

His partner in training was some plain dude that Ace is pretty sure will give up in the next few days, the guy doesn't have enough stamina and his moves are dull and slow, at this rate he won't be able to learn the basics. His actions made Ace kinda frustrated, he was already bored with this training and from dropping this guy on the floor every time he attacked him.

'If only I had paired with someone who is strong' Ace sighed mentally as he scanned the Area, he noticed a few people like him who had already learned the moves and are lazing around including Eren and Armin who were talking with some black haired dude who seems like he was showing them something.

Mikasa is surprisingly is paired with Annie, they seem serious, he can see that they have learned the moves but it seems like they're...Fighting? aren't they being a little too serious?

"Hey, can I switch with somebody else?" Ace looked at his partner and asked

"Sure, I remember the moves now, so it won't be a problem, I can join someone like me," he said. Ace gave him the wooden blade and left to join Eren and Armin

On his way someone got hold of his arm, he looked and it Krista who with Ymir

"How are you, my princess?" Ace kissed Krista's forehead

"Hihihi!! Like always. hey, we haven't been with each other in two 3 days now, isn't it?" she said. Since coming here, Ace and Krista hasn't been with each other at all except the occasional small talk they had from time to time which caused both of them to miss each other

"Then I can get you tonight to spend the night together," he said before letting her go back with Ymir who wasn't enjoying their interaction at all. she was staring at Ace with daggers the whole time. According to Ace's memory, Ymir used to joke around with Krista about marrying her or the likes, he treated her words back then as a joke but now he maybe needs to take Ymir...Seriously.

"Yo, how is the training going?" Ace greeted Eren, Armin and the black-haired dude " Who is your friend?" he asked

The black haired boy extended his hand to shake Ace's " I am Raven Van Buren, Nice to meet you, Lord Braveheart"

"What were you guys talking about?" asked Ace

"Raven-san showed us a book and asked if we know who wrote it?" said Armin

"A book?" Ace looked at Raven and asked to see the book. When Ace saw the book his eyes flashed with a knowing light. This little book is the summarised Version he wrote about Game Of Thrones when he had nothing to do. that hint didn't Escape the red-eyes boy who asked immediately

"I see that Lord Braveheart know who wrote it, can I dare to ask who is this great author?" Said Raven

"..."Ace was silent for a moment bore he closes the small book " Yes I do."

Raven smiled " Please do tell me."

"The man who wrote it is already gone." Said Ace as he handed the book back " When he gave us the book to publish, he asked to make a deal in exchange of abandoning all his royalties golden coins. "

Raven was surprised at this, he didn't think that the conversation will turn like this. If it kept on going like this he won't get any useful information "Can you explain to me more if you will. I am interested in things like this."

"The deal was for us to provide him with food and water enough for 2 months. A horse and carriage with Extra clothes and a few weapons. he then signed the contract and left " Said Ace

Raven looked shocked, he then hesitated before saying " I know that I asked for too much secret information but if you can do me this favor I will be in great debt to you Lord Braveheart"

"It's okay If I can help I will do."

"Thank you. Where did he go? had he mentioned anything about his destination?" Asked Raven, if what Ace said is the truth then That guy can be the one they're looking for.

" All he said he will be leaving this place and never mentioned to where. we tried to get him to let us know about his location but he insisted to not say, he then left us with the book and never come back after taking his part of the deal. And that was 9 months ago."

"...."Raven became silent as he processed the information given to him, Did that guy already leave the walls? or is he still hiding inside in some unknown place? but is he even the real deal?

"Thank you, My Lord" Raven bowed a little and left.

After Raven was far enough Armin spoke up " How do you know all of that? You never left the house? and you were always with us." Eren agreed to that too, at first he thought this was just some business in Uncle Roger's company but Ace seems to know too much information. On top of that Uncle Roger never speaks about work in the house.

"Don't think about what just happened. This is not of your business and whoever asked you about the book or anything either answer with what I just said or say you don't know" Ace sat on the ground, the sun was killing him, the uniform is tight and hot. Training under the hot sun just made it worse. He covered himself with Eren's shadow.

"Tsk! I almost got her." an annoyed voice came from behind the trio who were resting. It was Mikasa, Her face held a clear frustration hints. Ace saw her with Annie earlier so he has a rough idea about what happened

" Did you finally find your match?" said Ace

"She is skilled enough," she said, Mikasa went down and put her head on Ace lap and joined him under Eren's shadow. Looks like Eren's shadow had become a spot for anyone who wants to rest which made Armin chuckle at that.

"So who won?" Asked Armin

" A draw..." Mikasa answered in a monotone manner " But she won't be lucky next time"

" Did you guys just become friends??" Ace laughed, this is the first time Mikasa showed competitiveness against anyone

"Hmph!! As if.." the boys laughed at Mikasa causing her to get annoyed but she didn't want to waste her energy on speaking any further

"Ah! here she comes" Said Armin, everyone looked at Annie who passed by them

"Yo Annie, where are you going?" Asked Ace. Annie turned and looked at him before her eyes met with Mikasa's, Ace could swear he saw sparkles of light clash in their line of sight.

"Come and join us," Said Ace

"Join what?" Asked Annie. Ace pointed at his other empty lap

"Very funny, " Annie said with Monotone voice

"What? Eren's shadow is a great cover from the sun" Said Ace, he was in the mood to joke around but it seems Annie was not, she turned to leave but she was stopped by Ace

"If you're thinking about leaving the field then forget about or you will end up like these stinky rats over there" Ace pointed at the Nobels whose smell is so terrible as if they were bathing in the sewers.

"What do you mean?" Asked Annie, Armin, Eren, and Mikasa became interested too, they still don't know how those guys ended up like that and how they were even allowed to attend the training like that

"Those idiots tried to be smart and sneaked food and drinks from the kitchen, they were caught by Captain Levi. Their end was a tragic one, they ate their own puke and slept on the floor that was smelling with their own puke. And looks like captain Levi made them attend so he can humiliate them so they can behave "Said Ace as he explained what he heard on his way to the dorm yesterday's night. That shit was brutal, Levi kicked some blond boy in the stomach, Ace could've sworn that the boy was about to throw his stomach out.

Annie understood that she won't end up in a good situation if she was found out by that midget.

"Then, give up your plan and join us," said Ace making Annie click her roll her eyes at him

From behind Annie, a wild Krista appeared. She went straight up to claim her spot, she took the empty lap and put her head on it as she took cover under Eren and Ace's great shadows.

"Oooh! too bad you missed your chance" Ace touched his forehead as if he was sympathizing with Annie

" I wasn't planning on taking any chances in the first place anyway" Annie crossed her arms and leaned on the fence near them

' Well, At least she didn't leave.' Thought Ace.

After a few Minutes, the small group had to change their location because of the sun moving and Eren's great shadow became shorter as it reached 1 PM.

Levi called for the recruits to gather and show the moves with Oluo being the attacker. This time, fortunately, everyone passed, maybe because it was because of Levi intimidating aura and the Levi squad members being strict but all is good.

Next was Hange's class, as always Hange was into her role of a teacher and this time they spoke about the Titan's weak spot. This what was Eren interested in making him a very talkative machine, the worst part was he was sitting besides Ace making him massage his head because of migraine.

There was no evening training that day, Levi had to leave the camp for a meeting at the Survey corps HQ. The happiest people were the nobles kids who were terrified of Levi.

And as he promised Krista, Ace took Krista to a nice walk together, even tho there was nothing to see and it was dark and cold both of them warmed their bodies with some bodily connection or in other words...They fucked. The pair of husband and wife did the deed in the survey corps house since no one was there until tomorrow, They spent a few hours together before going to their separate dorms to sleep and prepare for the next day's hardships.
