30 Teaser

BOOM!!!

KYAAHHH!!!

The smell of charred flesh and gunpowder wafted through the city as the thundering of explosions continued. The occasional scream of terror and despair echoed through a foreign land, creating what seemed like a dystopian melody for all ages to enjoy…

On a more serious note, the heartless and indiscriminate killings of seemingly innocent people continued as they received a taste of their own malicious medicine.

Of course, a certain overgrown Monke was struggling with the rescue operations, trying it's best to reduce the casualty count, but it still wasn't enough… No matter how humongous of a Monke it was, there was no way it could possibly save all of the injured without further assistance…

As the citizens continued to suffer the wrath of the oppressed, a similar scenario took place within the walls of a certain luxurious household. As the formerly extravagant Mansion had exploded and collapsed under it's own weight, the guests and the retainers worked tirelessly to help the friends and family that still lived, unaware of the dangers that were yet to come.

In midst of these atrocities, a young child stood tall, uncaring of the corpses strewn across the blood drenched gardens, seemingly waiting for something. Soon enough, his eyes narrowed as a certain lady came into his view, heading towards him with slow yet elegant gait.

Her noble birth was evident in her stride, but the same couldn't be said about her countenance. Her torn clothes drenched in blood with a few bruises decorating her pale arms, blood dripping from her punctured lip and with a few scrapes adorned her body, it seemed unnatural for a noble lady to stroll around in a state and situation…

However, the murderous wrath in her eyes had deterred even the strongest and the most loyal of her men to block her path, for they knew that no ordinary human could even hope to injure this lady and live to tell the tale…

Stopping a fair distance away, she glared at the unflinching child only to receive a stoic gaze in return. The silent exchange continued for a while, until the crackle of yellow lightning broke the lull, bursting forth from the dainty figure of the noble lady.

However, instead of there being a charred corpse, as dictated by a man's common sense, the lady's figure was replaced with that of a masculine white giant having a second layer of skin that covered it's upper face and segmented strands of skin that ran down it's exposed jaw.

Wielding a massive pure white hammer that was seemingly conjured out of thin air, it looked at the child with hollow eyes and spoke in a deep feminine voice that echoed through the battlefield.

"Traitor Karl Kruger, you shall pay for you sins against the Tybur family and this great Country of Marley!" It said, taking up a stance as to crush the child in a single blow.

However, the child didn't show a single shred of fear, as if such supernatural occurrences were the norm of this world. Instead, a wry chuckle escaped his lips which slowly grew into a full blown laughter.

Somehow, the child felt amused as the white monstrosity had promised him the sweet release of death, fanning the flames of rage and hatred that burned within the Titan's soul…

"Silence traitor! I shall see to your punishment personally!" It added, smashing the hammer at the figure of the puny child without even a hint of hesitation, for his crimes were far too large for such a lenient death.

BOOM!!!

The ground cracked like spider webs as a massive shockwave pulsed through, leaving only a cloud of dust and blood in its wake. Raising the hammer covered in a bloody pulp, the Titan tried to confirm the kill, only to be met with a mass of crumpled flesh.

"Miss me, lady?" An annoyingly familiar voice added, causing it to look around with renewed attention. As the dust cloud cleared, the young child seemed fine, but the same couldn't be said for the corpses smashed by the swing…

SWOOSH!!!

BOOM!!!

Roaring in anger, the Titan unleashed a slew of destructive swings, each of which the child seemed to dodge. But, the fact that irked it more was the boy had a casual look of disinterest under such an unrelenting barrage!

Changing its tactics, it was about to impale the child as a sudden hail of shells blew up before it, forcing her to disengage. Turning to the source, the white Titan was surprised to see another long faced, four legged Titan clad in armor with four canons mounted on it's back.

"Please stay your hand, Warhammer Titan!!" The baritone voice of the Cart Titan called out, looking down at the two of them from a nearby building.

"Warrior, state your reasons." The Warhammer ordered, seemingly irritated at the interruption. With a nod, the Cart continued, sneaking a remorseful glance at the child in question.

"Karl is an exceptional Warrior candidate and a resource we absolutely cannot afford to lose! I dare say that his technological genius is the most important asset of our country! Please let his sins be judged by the Government!!"

"Does that mean no personal reasons are included?" The Warhammer stated, squinting it's non-existent eyes at the Cart. It had already known of the value of the child, but that didn't mean the Country of Marley couldn't afford this loss.

The experts of Marley had already begun to decode his personal journal, meaning that they'd have access to all his secrets in just a matter of time. There was no more reason to spare this sinner who dared to touch her family!

"That…" The Cart was speechless at the question as the Warhammer sighed in exasperation. It seemed that the quality of Marley's Warriors had deteriorated with time…

"Then there is no need for any more banter! I shall rain down the wrath of Marley myself!!"

"…Karl!! If you declare your surrender and provide us intel, we can still let you live!! You would be a prisoner, but that is still better than immediate death!!!" The Cart screamed as a last ditch effort, hoping to end it on peaceful terms.

She was desperate to save the child who would follow her around, calling her 'Big Sis' in return for playing with him… Surely, he had been misguided by an ignorant fool and forced to betray Marley. If not, how could such a sweet child have such indifference towards death?

There was still a chance that he could be persuaded in the error of his ways and, quite possibly, save his life… She desperately wanted to believe in that. But, unfortunately…

"Big Si-no, Pieck… I'm sorry…" The child said with a weak smile, before being impaled in the chest a with towering pike that hung him high in the sky, visible to every living soul within the city. Almost as if the Warhammer was sending out a warning, that there would be no mercy shown to the enemies of Marley…

Cough!!

The Cart watched in horror as the child clutched the enormous pike with a pained expression. Blood dripped from his lips as his guts broke out, dyeing the pike in a bloody crimson. She was stunned at the sight, refusing to accept that one of her dearest friends would die in such a dreadful way…

Even a certain Monke watching this spectacle from a distance was appalled at the sight, his clenched fists trembling with an uncontrollable rage! Even so, he had no choice but to ignore it, for it was too late for the boy anyway…

But, what happened next could have never been anticipated by anyone, not even by the greatest minds of their generations!!

FLASH!!!

A blinding flash of orange-yellow lightning stuck the impaled figure of the child, stunning every single onlooker within the city of Liberio. Soon enough, a 17m Titan with glowering obsidian eyes took his place, dropping down from the pike with an earth-shattering landing!

Every living creature turned to look at the new Titan with mostly shock, terror, elation or a mixture of all of them. Especially the Cart and Monke having really odd expressions…

Opening it's carefully crafted lips, the new Titan let out a breath of fresh steam before it's lips twisted into something that resemble a grin. Of course, all that the ordinary onlookers could see was an enormous titan with a terrifyingly gluttonous expression plastered on it's devilish face…

"My. Name. Is. Karl. Yeager!!!!" It roared, making sure that it's voice echoed throughout the city. Unfortunately, it's roar broke the Warhammer from it's stupor as it immediately readied itself for battle.

'It's time for requiem, bitches!' the new Titan thought, charging into a battle that was sure to go down in history!!

A/N: 1.5K word count... Also, saying Karl Kruger out loud in an accent is kinda like a tongue twister.

Edit: I may be a nice and calm author who accepts both criticism and praise, but there is a line that should never be crossed!! >:(

I won't specify who, but sending a paragraph long shit comment over and over almost 10 times and writing four shit reviews only to delete them later with none of them having actual reasons for the novel being bad is real f*cking irritating!! And, I had already hinted in Ch29 that something that might seem like a plothole might not really be one, but this bish reads Ch27 and starts ranting about it!!! Have you actually even read AoT, for you to be fussing over every character's death like that?!!!

You have all rights drop the story or give a really bad review if you don't like it, (Like the civilized Anteleus, cheers bro), but being a bish about it is just crossing all boundaries. I may be depressed, but if you think I'm some sort of pushover that you can walk all over on and try to assert your own pathetic dominance, then don't cry when I report you for harassment with proof being in my DMs.

Conclusion: You may hate my story to the absolute max and give bad reviews, but be civil about the whole thing and also give me some reasons, cuz I'm still a new author that aspires to grow with every chapter.

Thank you for reading this and I hope that we can discuss further opinions like civilized people.
