Failure

Kit's POV

"STOP IT! I ALREADY TOLD YOU EVERYTHING I KNOW!" I yelled as I was being electrocuted by Recon.

"You only gave me positions of military camps that we already took over." growled Recon, "Not only that you don't know anything about your family and that pisses me off."

She pressed electric stick against my chest and I screamed from the pain.

"You're nothing like your brother." said Recon

"Shut up!" I yelled back which I instantly regret

She pulled out her knife and began to cut my skin on my chest and then she kicked me on the head.

"I'm going to ask this one more time. What is Ghost going to do?!" she demanded

"I don't know! I already told you every- AAAHHHHHHH!!" I screamed as she began to electrocute me again.

She pulled away and i just began breathing hard. She came close and pulled my hair forcing me to look up at her.

"Tonight, and I swear, you're going to see the head of Ghost just right in front of you." hissed Recon

"He'll stop you. The Sentinels are going to stop you." I growled

She began to laugh, the laugh was so menacing and evil that it sent chills through my spine.

"They've tried, but failed over and over again. And Ghost can't kill me, and he can't stop me. He never was able to."

She started electrocuting me again but she wouldn't pull back or stop. I kept screaming till everything just went black.

Eren's POV

"EREN WAKE UP!" yelled Jean from outside my room

I groaned as I wanted more sleep, I started getting up but I started hearing the alarm siren blare outside. Quickly got up and got dressed, put on my gear and everything and ran out the room.

Outside was my team standing gearing up and planning something.

"What's going on?" I asked

"Kit was kidnapped last night." said an officer who was with Erwin at the table with a map spread across it

"What?" I was just there standing in confusion

"Right now Ghost team 117 left an hour ago tracking the scanner in Kit's vest." said the officer

"Where are they headed?" asked Erwin

"Back to Camp Charlie in Italy." replied the officer

"How are we going to get in?" asked Erwin

"We are going to go in hard. You'll be going after the Air Force bombards the main headquarters of the camp. After you'll drop and aid Ghost team 117 with other Sentinel teams. Other Allied military forces will try to create a diversion by attacking the northern parts of Italy." said the officer

"Understood, Scouts move out!" commanded Erwin

We started jogging towards our osprey in 2 lines. I looked around and saw other teams getting into different ospreys.

"Are we going to try to reclaim Italy?" asked Marco

"I don't know but that's not our objective for now." yelled Nanaba.

"Damn how did Kit get kidnapped?" I asked

"I heard that Recon infiltrated the southern part of the camp, she must have taken him." said Jean

"Damn it." said Armin

"Right now we are to hold our ground till Ghost team comes back with Kit." said Hanji

Ghost POV

Right now I was in the underground prison system in our old camp. The lights were mostly turned off so it was hard to see in the dark and since it's bright outside we didn't think about bringing our night vision goggles.

"Sir our only option is to split up." whispered Marksman

"Like hell I'm going to allow that." I replied, remembering the main reason why my first squad was eliminated.

"I understand that you don't want to but this is the fastest way, we all know the prison system." said Phantom.

I thought about it for a couple of seconds before denying that order. We continued moving throughout the prison system, until we heard of voice. We quickly hid against the wall, using the shadow to cover us.

"Ma'am we got multiple bogeys coming in from the north of Italy." said Russian soldier in Russian

"Sentinels?" said a female voice, she sounded like Recon

"We don't know ma'am, it might not even be the Americans attacking us." said the soldier

"It might be a diversion, tighten the security and ask for more reinforcements from Commander Salazar. He might be coming for the prisoner, make sure you guard his cell and shoot anyone who's not Russian." Replied Recon

"Yes ma'am." replied the soldier

Footsteps began to come closer around the corner and soon Recon just ran pass us without noticing.

"I'm going to follow her, the rest of you have permission to split up. Make sure you kill anyone silently and keep radio contact." I said jogging after Recon

I ran after trying to catch up, as I saw her just about to leave the prison system.

"Stop Recon." I said pointing my gun at her

She stopped running and turned around to see me.

"How did you get in here?" she asked, a confused on her face

"I had my ways, now tell me where Kit is." I demanded

She began walking down the stairs and towards me.

"Don't move or I will shoot you." I ordered

"You won't kill me, you can't kill me." she said as she continued to walk forward

I shot at her stomach twice but her armor stopped it from penetrating into her skin. She stopped walking and just rubbed her stomach.

"Ow." was all she said

Luckily I had a silencer so no one heard the shots.

"Give it up, you lost this time." I said

"Oh so you're giving me a chance to live?" she asked

I stood there in silence not knowing what to do after all. I wanted to kill her for betraying me but at the same time I knew she could be a different person.

Before I could respond, the ground began to shake and explosions could be heard outside with the siren alarm, blaring outside.

"You lost Recon, surrender now." I said

She slowly look at the ground and began to raise both of her arms. I sighed in relief and lowered my gun, but I should have known her. She quickly drew both of her swords and and sprinted right at me. I quickly aimed my gun at her and began shooting but she merely blocked it all with her two swords.

She ducked under my gun and sliced my gun in half and with the other sword, cut my arm.

I backed away and grabbed my left arm which was bleeding badly from the cut. Recon came running again and swung her sword at my neck. I quickly fell backwards and rolled backwards to get a safe distance. Once I was on my knees I pulled out my pistol from my holster and began firing at her but as always, it was useless, so I shot where her armor was weak, the intersection of her forearms and her biceps. My shot hit her but she just regenerated like always.

"You never learn." said Recon as she charged at me

Kit's POV

I started waking up to the ruckus outside of my cell. I got up but the pain in my body was just unbearable. I was still in my combat uniform, but it was drenched in my blood and sweat. I slowly got up and limped towards the door and looked outside. There were multiple guards, at least 6 of them.

'Damn it there's no way I can take them all out, especially in this condition.'

I heard distant shouting and guns firing throughout the tunnels of the jail system. Then I noticed something being thrown at the guards. The soldiers yelled and I was blinded with a flash bang. My ears kept ringing and my vision was blurry, I couldn't see shit. I fell back down onto the floor and tried to recover from the flashbang. But before I could get up after recovering the door opened and there stood a Russian soldier with his gun pointing at me.

'Oh no I'm going to die.'

But slowly the guard began to fall forward and behind him was Javelin.

"Javelin?"

She came to me and kneeled in front of me, checking my wounds throughout my face and body.

"How did you find me in this tunnel system?" I asked her

She merely responded with a punch to my face. I fell to my side and looked at her in shock and fear.

"Looking for you was a pain in the ass for me." she growled

She grabbed me and threw my arm over her neck and helped me up.

"But I'm getting you out of here."

We exit my cell and made our way towards the front entrance.

"I got the package, going to the rally point." Javelin said through her radio.

We kept going moving and hiding from Russian soldiers running around the tunnels.

"Captain do you read me over?" Javelin was trying to reach Captain but to her expression it sounded like he wasn't responded.

"Shit he must be dealing with Recon." said Javelin

"Damn it, he's not going to kill her." I said

"What? How do you know?" she asked

"She told me. Ghost had a chance to kill her multiple times but he just couldn't pull the trigger."

"Damn it." she hissed

We kept going towards the front entrance.

"Kit, I'm sorry for not trusting you." said Javelin

I looked at her and she looked back at me and I saw the sincerity in her eyes.

"It's fine, I understand your conception, you must have had a bad conception." I replied

She pulled me in closer and just sighed as we kept moving.

Jean's POV

"COVER THE TITANS, WE LOSE THEM WE LOSE THE OBJECTIVE." yelled an officer

I was taking cover behind a destroyed tank and shot the enemies on the roof of the communication center.

"We need to move to the entrance of the jail system." said Historia

"But how there's way too many!" yelled Marco

Mikasa and Armin came running up to us and slid to cover.

"Armin, is there any more air support inbound?" I asked

"Not in 10 minutes." he replied

"Damn it."

"Hey look at them." said Historia

I looked at the field and I saw three lines of soldiers, each with 5 soldiers. They began to approach the other side by one person shooting in the front and the others behind him covering him.

"What the hell?" whispered Marco

"CHANGE!" yelled a soldier

The person in front of the three lines went to the back of the line and now it was another person in those three lines shooting at the opposing side.

"AGAIN!"

They did the same thing and they started making progress gaining some ground. Eren and Annie were also busy protecting them from the gun fire while Reiner was busy taking down the technicals and Ymir just killing everyone.

"ADVANCE!" yelled the same officer

I started moving forward while shooting with Marco on my left. Mikasa, Armin and Historia were behind me.

I kept moving forward as a guy tried to shoot me but was popped by someone else.

"Oh shit I got someone! Your welcome Jean!" yelled Sasha trough the radio

"Yea thanks Sasha." I replied just rolling my eyes

I kept moving throughout the camp popping any soldier that came into view.

"SHIT RPG LOOK OUT JEAN!" yelled Marco

I turned and saw a Russian take aim with his RPG straight at me. He was shot just as he pulled the trigger and the missile came flying towards me.

"Ahhh shit" I mumbled

But then I felt something grab me and I fell to the side down a ditch and the missile flew pass me and hit a trailer.

I look up to see Mikasa on top of me, groaning from falling down.

"Are you okay Jean?" she asked

"Y-y-yea I'm good." I stuttered

'She's a goddess.' I thought

My mind was wandering off that I didn't notice Mikasa reaching out her hand to me.

"Hey Jean you good?" asked Mikasa

I snapped back to focus and took her hand and she pulled me up from the ground.

"Thanks Mikasa."

"I GOT EYES ON GHOST TEAM! COVER THEM!" yelled Connie

I got out off the ditch too see Ghost team 117 running out of the underground jail to our left and running towards us. Javelin was helping Kit who was badly injured from the looks of his features.

"Wait, where's Captain?" asked Bertholdt

I looked up from covering them and noticed Captain Ghost wasn't there.

Ghost team got close to us, Javelin lowered Kit into the ditch while Historia tried to treat him.

"Where's Captain?" groaned Kit

"Wasn't he with you?" I asked

"He's still not out?" asked Bomber

"What do you mean he's still not out?" asked Phantom

Ghost POV

I was breathing hard, I have way too many cuts throughout my body and I was losing too much blood. I was on one knee and Recon had her sword on her throat, she too was breathing hard from the long fray we had.

"I have to admit, you improved." she panted

"You said that the first time we fought." I replied

She seemed to think about it and chuckled

"I can't get over the fact that today is the day." she said

"It doesn't have to end like this." I said looking down

Recon used the tip of the sword to raise up my head so that I can look at her.

"It has to." she said

She started to raise her sword and just before she swung down someone behind her shot her sword out of her hand.

"Get the fuck away from him." growled Phantom

I look behind her and see Phantom holding her pistol straight at Recon.

"Phantom leave, now, get back to base." I ordered

"Not happening, not without you." replied Recon

"Goddammit just go now that's a direct order."

"Yes Phantom leave now," said Recon as she walked behind me and grabbed my hair and lifted my head up. I felt a sharp edge pressed against my throat.

"I can kill you right here right now and I wouldn't give a shit." said Phantom

"Nothing happens when you shoot her, she just regenerates." I replied

"Yes, so there's no point in trying."

Phantom still had her gun up, ready to shoot Recon's head any moment.

"Fuck you Recon." and Phantom pulled the trigger.

Recon lifted me up and used me as her human shield. Two bullets went right through me and all I felt was pain throughout my body. All I saw next was Phantom running towards me as Recon dropped me and ran further into the tunnel. The last thing I saw was Phantom's scared eyes.

Eren's POV

My titan was out, it was blown up but luckily Levi was able to get me out.

"WE HAVE TO LEAVE NOW!" yelled an officer to Hacker

"NO WE ARE NOT LEAVING WITHOUT THE CAPTAIN AND SERGEANT MAJOR! YOU GUYS GO ON AHEAD FIRST WE'LL COVER YOU!" replied Hacker

"YES SIR!"

Most of the Sentinels began to fall back to the ospreys that were waiting for us to board. Most of my team left before me, all that was left was me, Annie, Jean, Marco, Mikasa, Armin and the rest of Ghost team.

"They're closing in!" yelled Bomber

"Shit I'm out!" yelled Marco "Jean you got anything?"

"Nah I'm all out." replied Jean

"Mikasa? Anything?" asked Marco

"I got nothing." said Mikasa

"We're all out." whispered Javelin

We waited in the ditch till the the Russians arrested us.

"Fuck this" groaned Juggernaut
