AOT: ONLINE, MY DOOM?

I watched myself in horror amidst the screams of the other players as my ashes lied on the ground the rest of my body turn into ashes.

As my eyes went my vision split in two, one was in the back of a crowd while the other watched players scream. I looked down and stared at my feet and saw it was there on one half but wasn't there on the other half.

'Is this hell?" I asked myself. 'Or more likely heaven.' My entire body was now in the back of a crowd of people. Maybe some of them were pretty girls but for all I know they could be boys… And I do not want to introduce myself to people who refuse to stick to their own gender in VR.

I looked up and saw numbers written on the sky that increased every second. 14,999 15, 000. The number kept increasing for a little more time until it stopped completely.

"This is the exact number of players in AOT: Online!" I shouted.

One of the people in my back looked at me with relief. "So you noticed it too bud, I was playing AOT online when my body turned into ashes and then I saw myself here. Whatever is happening here didn't happen in the beta!" He said.

"You played the beta?" I asked him in shock. The dude didn't seem like a player, he had black eyes like what was after was an abyss, he had short brown hair and was handsome. Plus, he didn't look like a gamer we gamers are well known for our sleepless nights.

"What you don't believe me? I was one of the beater testers. I reached episode 23 in the anime before the game was announced safe. I actually know how to use Omni directional mobility gear quite well." He boasted.

"We're dead so everything me or you or the rest of the fifteen thousand + players reached don't matter!" I said blankly.

I had died.

I had fucking died for reasons unknown to man.

A vortex in the sky appeared followed by a shockwave that shacked the ground interrupted my train of thought. A being in a black cloak and a pickaxe levitated through it, it looked like the grim reaper.

"This affirms my thoughts! We are dead!" I screamed silently. I wasn't very bad, was I? I was just being normal and now you tell me that I'm in hell.

Was I going to Die Again?

"Silence!" The being's voice echoed through the…. Somewhere.

Now silence had become the menu.

"You must all be wondering what happened to you and some of you think this is hell, well it's not. You players are all in Attack On Titan: Online, not to worry after this all of you will continue where you decided to go.

Except the people in the Shiganshina district and anywhere near Wall Maria, you will all start in Trost (I don't know if it is in Sheena or Rose. Tell me so I can make corrections.)

Also, it is impossible for anyone to log out because there is no log out button. There is only one way to log out and that is to finish the game, in the beta the log out button was there. But we decided it would be fun if everyone was to have a practical real life experience.

But wait there is also more, if you die here your brain stops in the real world so nobody can save you and you will die unfulfilled…"

"What the hell! I didn't sign up for this. Send me back, now!" Someone from the crowd yelled. He had riled the crowd up and the negative energy they were emitting was crazy.

"SILENCE!" The being's voice boomed.

"Now as I was saying you will die if you die here, there is no coming back after a titan eats you or the rumbling gets you. But look on the bright side, at least you are in the world of Attack On Titan. Let me put in simpler words so you can understand.

Project VR was started in the 1950's, for more than 78 years we had been trying to link our world to another one. Because imagination, if it is strong enough can bring even the most unrealistic things to life, the VR is a link through two worlds and you guys are the guinea pigs that we are testing to see if any changes are caused in your mind and body if you stay in another world too long.

Lest I forget, everything is government approved so all of you survivors you better be ready to start surviving also make sure Eren doesn't die too early because if he does eldians are doomed.

Keep in mind that time passes slower here so after the events of attack on titan have finished only four years will pass on earth.

"God! I should have never bought the game, the worst mistake of my life." I groaned out load as tears began flowing down my eyes.

I may never see my sister again, my mother, my father I may never see my parents again.

If I do survive I will have the heart of a commando, I will be scarred for life!

I closed my eyes to stop the tears and when I opened them I was in Trost.
