Peace

This is the fourth book of my attack on titan fanfiction series. I hope you all enjoy it.

A/N: I'm also doing a slight anime crossover so that I can be able to develop the story.

Someone's POV

"Is every building checked?" asked the director

"Yes, the queen is clear to make her statement." I replied

I looked out the window at the night sky and the skyscrapers of London. There were people lined up on the streets waiting to see the queen.

"The queen is making her way." said a voice through my earpiece

I began to walk around the building making sure there was no one around in the buildings.

"Teams report in." said a voice

"Team A check." I replied

"Team B check." replied another voice

"Team C check." replied another

"Can someone check up on Team D?" asked a voice

"On it." I replied

I began walking through the staircase and got to the 4th floor of the building and knocked on a door.

"Team D you in there?" I asked

No response.

"Team D? I'm coming in." I said

I opened the door and my eyes widened and I gagged when I saw every single member in team d dead, blood covered the floor.

'How? We just got here 5 minutes ago, there's no way someone could have killed all 30 of them in just 5 minutes especially without contacting someone.'

But before I could say anything, I felt something funny on my neck. I touched my neck and when I looked at my hand, there was blood on it and that's when I felt the pain and I began to fall into darkness.

Someone's POV

"The queen's dead!" yelled a reporter

"Where's the security teams?" asked another reporter

I watched as the crowd beneath me went into chaos.

"I can't believe that countries are still fighting over the titan serum." I sighed

"Sir we got extraction ready for you." said a voice through my headset, "You did well, Lieutenant Kit."

"Yea I hope that was the last country." I sighed

I got on the vulture and we took off.

The next day

Ghost's POV

I walked down the basement stairs to see Emily doing a handstand with one arm and doing pushups with just one arm.

"Is something wrong?" asked Emily

"The President wants to see us." I replied

"The President always wants to see us." said Phantom as she hit 80 handstand pushups

"I know, but our kids are all grown up. Keegan's graduating boot camp next week and Javelin's off in two weeks." I said

"Are we going to see Rina?" asked Phantom

Rina, the girl I saved was now a doctor at such a young age. She's a whole genius on a different level. She finished grad school in less than two years and now she's working at a government hospital in Washington DC.

"Yea we are, she's pretty busy though." I said

"She's only 17 and she's already away from us." said Phantom, "She lived with us for 4 years but she was always away in college and grad school."

"She's doing what she wants to do." I replied

She stood up and wiped the sweat off of her.

"You stopped working out for a while." said Phantom

"Oh I'll work out right now." I replied

"Join me." said Phantom, "Let's start off with your favorite."

I smiled and nodded but I noticed that her sports bra was pretty small, revealing her breasts a bit too much.

"Your sports are a bit small." I said

"Oh right I should change this." she said

She turned around and took it off and I noticed how jacked up she was, she looked like a whole man from here. She put on her new bra but that's when Emma came down and looked at us.

"Dad can you help me with driving after you're done?" she asked

"Sure just give me a few minutes." I replied

Emma nodded and left so I was about to get ready but Emily stopped me.

"You're not going to take off your shirt?" asked Emily

"Do you want me to?" I asked

Emily slightly smiled and nodded so I took off my shirt and Emily immediately started caressing my scars and abs.

"You're right rib is fully healed but it's still weak." said Phantom

"I know." I replied

"Let's get started." said Emily

I nodded so I got into the pushup position and she sits on my back so I began doing my pushups and she seemed to be enjoying her ride on my back. After about 2 minutes I hit 400 pushups and the timer rings and I sighed and got up and stretched my arms.

"You did a hundred less than last time." said Phantom

"Shit." I groaned

"Let's see how much you can bench." said Phantom

I began to put on weights onto the bar until I hit 950 pounds.

"This is the max I can do." I said

"Let's see if you could do two." she said

I laid down and I got myself ready and I lifted up the bar and I already felt the heaviness on my chest. I brought it down and started pushing it up with full effort and did one.

"Just one more." said Emily

I took a deep breath and brought it down but I couldn't bring it up, I squeezed my eyes shut and pushed it up as hard as I could until I finally brought it up and put it back on the stand. I sat up and rotated my shoulders loosening them up.

"Good job, you did two." said Phantom

I smiled and it was her turn but we took some weight off until it was 500 pounds. She did two but she also struggled to do the last set but she managed.

"Don't you think you're more manly than womanly?" I asked

"Is that a problem?" asked Emily

"No, just asking." I said

I sat behind her and began massaging her shoulders.

"It just looks like you're on steroids and I don't want anyone to offend you." I said

"Don't worry, the people on beaches don't talk about it." said Emily

"The people on the beaches are scared of you." I replied

Emily chuckled and looked back at me.

"Are you scared of me?" she asked

"Is this a trick question?" I asked

"No." she replied

I smiled and just hugged her.

"Let's just put it this way, I developed feelings for you even though you were scary." I said

The next day

Annie's POV

"Hey Eren, how have you been?" I asked

I looked at Eren's tombstone and sighed.

"I don't know if you're resting in peace but I hope you are." I said, "I don't know if this is the freedom you wanted."

I put down the flowers and sat on the ground in front of the tombstone.

"I wish you were here. I say that every time I'm here you must be annoyed by hearing me talk." I said, "But if there was one thing I wanted to know, it's if you want to be with me."

I touched the tombstone.

"I'll be back again, don't miss me too much." I said

I slowly got up and left the cemetery but then I started to get a call from Ashley.

"What is it?" I asked

"I need help with crystallizing, it's too hard." said Ashley

"Ashley, you're part of the Scouts. Can't they help you?" I asked

"I thought that maybe since you actually have the female-"

"Ashley I'm busy." I cut her off

"Oh, okay..." replied Ashley sounding sad

I immediately felt guilty so I sighed.

"I can help you tomorrow." I said

"Today's my last day here." replied Ashley

"Oh." I replied

"It's okay next time." replied Ashley, "I have to go bye mom."

She ended the call and I just sighed as I flopped onto a bench. Ever since Eren died four years my relationship with my kids shattered, we barely interacted and it's a lot harder for me to support my kids. But the only good thing was that I was receiving money from the government thanks to my service.

I tried to keep my relationship with my kids a healthy one but for some reason I just feel like they don't really love me anymore. Ashley is now a titan shifter in the Scouts with her friends, Damion, Thomas and the prince who wanted to join, Kyle.

I rubbed my hands and looked at the ground. I took out my phone and checked the time and I saw that I needed to head to work so I grabbed my bag and got into my car.

I got to the hospital and got to my station and started helping others but then once I was done with one child another came in and he seemed to recognize me.

"You're Annie Leonhart, the female titan." said the boy

"Yes." I simply replied

The boy started babbling but I just did my job and ignored him as much as I could.

"Thank you, have a nice day." I said

He nodded and left and I didn't have any patients after that so I just leaned back against my chair and scrolled through my phone. I looked at the pictures I took with Eren while we were dating, after we got married, and family photos we took.

The more I looked at these photos the more I missed Eren and it always hurts me every time I think about that time in the past and how maybe Eren was right about Eldia being vulnerable. World War 4 was on the horizon again and this time there are a whole bunch of mercenaries trying to interfere with it especially an organization called the HCLI.

Sentinel didn't want to deal with them since it wasn't part of their category to take down some mercenary group but things were getting out of hand with them. Apparently even the Navy Seals couldn't defeat them. Colonel Kit said that dealing with the HCLI is like dealing with babies who are trying to do something that's why he said he wasn't dealing with it.

"There has been a lot of activity in the military as reported..." said the reporter on the TV

I sighed and rubbed my eyes in annoyance.

'This world will never ever see peace.'

1 week later

Ghost's POV

"After retiring I thought you would be home." I said

Colt shook his head and just shook my hand.

"Staying home isn't my thing." he said, "But being director of the secret service isn't either."

"Is the president doing okay?" asked Emily

"Yea, he wants to see you right now." replied Colt

He led us through the white house, the last time I've been here was during the war when we were taking back the capital. We got to the oval office and he let us in and there he was the president.

"Ajax it's been long." said Malvik

"It's been 2 months." I said

Malvik and I hugged each other and he greeted Emily.

"How does it feel being the president?" I asked

"Never have I ever thought I would get this position." replied Mavlik, "Did you even vote for me?"

"Is that a question?" I asked, "Of course I did."

"What about you Emily?" asked Malvik

"Of course I did." replied Emily

"Well guess who didn't." said Malvik

Malvik looks at Colt and Colt just slightly smiles.

"I was busy you know that." said Colt

"Must be really hard with what you're dealing with." I said

"It is, the secret service agents here slack a lot." replied Colt

"I see, why did you want to see me?" I asked

"Well I wanted to just see you and also someone wants to see you as well." said Malvik

Malvik nodded towards Colt and Colt opened the door.

"Mom! Dad!"

Rina ran up to me and Emily and hugged us, catching us by surprise.

"Rina..." I whispered

'Did she call me dad?'

"It's been so long since I saw you two, has everything been alright? Where's Emma?" asked Rina

Emily just smiled.

"We've been okay, we've missed you a lot and Emma's outside with Conor." said Emily

"Since Rina's been gone from you two for a long time we thought it would be best if she works for Sentinel at Outpost Black." said Malvik

"HQ?" I questioned

"Yea she wants to study about the titans." said Malvik

"Is that what you want Rina?" I asked

Rina nodded and smiled.

"It's what I wanted this entire time, to work with Sentinel." she said

"If that's what you want then go for it." I said
