2 (1) Life is but a series of steps to greatness.

It's not like I was a good person in this life, but I did my duty. From an early age, I was average, l grew up in an average family with no siblings. Went to an average high School, had a few friends and never did anything else to make my life any more exciting. However, during my last year in high school, something changed in me. It wasn't big, but it was like something flicked a switch in me. I was excited about this change, something might actually happen in this boring life of mine.

However, I was betrayed. Nothing happened. My life just went on as normal, watching anime and reading manga was already one of my favourite things to do. Later in life, I managed to find a husband, have 2 children. They also found that they loved watching anime and spent most of my time with them. Life also seemed to go by faster due to having a family. Slaving away at a mediocre job in a state-run company, barely being able to save enough money for holidays or paying for her children's expenses. But she didn't give up, trying to make her family happy for the rest of her miserable life.

...

It was time, already at the ripe old age of 89, Aria couldn't help but sigh and lay quietly in her death bed waiting for the inevitable to happen. She also felt it, this would be the last night she would spend with her family. Around Aria, her Husband and children stood. In the front, there were 3 small children looking at her curiously.

Suddenly a heart-wrenching pain sprang deep inside her body. With a calm face, she didn't show any pain but she couldn't help but curse under her breath. Looking over, she could see her husband and children with teary eyes which were about to burst.

With one final breath, she managed to squeeze out. "Don't worry, just live life like how you want. Don't follow the country's way of doing things as I did." With one more breath, she quietly closed her eyes to never be opened again.

...

"Hmm, very interesting. I'll give you 1 wish" A mysterious voice leaked out from nowhere and entered Arias head.

Aria on the other hand, was still figuring out where she was. Looking all around here, she could only see black, pitch black. Another noticeable thing is that once she looked down she saw no body on her. Only a faint outline of her previous body. Just like a ghost. She heard the voice and asked "One wish, sigh, i have so many" The mysterious voice silently chuckled and waited for her.

"Is there anything i can't wish for?"

"If you do wish for something you can't, ill address it" The voice spoke out again still with a calm and accurate voice.

Aria nodded and started to think. Hundreds of things popped into her head, from being rich to having a system like the people in those novels. But her thoughts always went back to one thing, the life she had lived previously. Always so mundane and boring, always wanting something fun to happen. Is this the change she was looking for?

She looked up resolutely and said, " I wish for an adventurous life, we're I could be happy and live free."

"Good choice" The mysterious voice spoke out once again. "Well, Aria. I wish you good luck" With a snap of, what seemed like, fingers she disappeared with a flash of light.

'Sigh, at least she's one of the more intelligent people in the group. Ill help her a little'
