Prologue

Someone's POV

Mark is lying on his bed while her mother is singing him a lullaby, singing him to sleep. Her mother positioned him directly facing him so his mother can stare at him perfectly.

His mother kissed his forehead with full of affection.

"Sleep now my little sweetie, mommy will be here until you wake up" his mother said in a motherly tone. Her mother is now turning off the lights so Mark can sleep comfortably and can sleep soundly.

The child is now ready to close his eyes while sighing because of drowsiness when a loud bang suddenly happened inside his room. The child's room is now full dust and smoke. Without wasting any second his mother hid him under his bed.

"No matter what happen, you will not come out under this bed" his mother whispered in his a serious tone that he had no choice but obliged. He nodded his head with worry on his face then closed his eyes when his mother kissed him softly on his forehead. His mother cast a spell that will hide the strong presence of the child under the bed.

Athena stood up and is now walking powerfully giving off some powerful presence that an ordinary people will be scared of. When the dust and smoke are fading, it showed two unfamiliar shadows of persons. As this two strangers showed it's also the same time that Rio, the child's father and Athena's husband barge into the room with full worry and anxiousness towards his wife and son. He already hid his older sons on a safe place not far away from them.

When he saw that her wife, Athena is standing seriously at the center of the room with her sharp sword. He entered there without fear and ready to protect his family.

"Well, well, well. How are you doing our world's greatest soldiers?" the man with a black mask with a red cape said with a mocking tone.

"Who are you?" Athena said putting every inch of authority and power on her voice. Anger can be noticed on Athena's voice since they're ruining their peaceful life knowing they didn't do anything bad on these strangers as she remember. Or they have another agenda on coming here.

"HAHAHAHAHA, easy Athena. I know you guys know what did I come here. Where's the child" the man with the black mask said calmly but his calm tone can't hide the monstrosity on his voice.

"William" Athena said seriously.

"At last, I know that you guys will recognize me" the man with the black mask and red caped that named William. Amusement can be heard on his voice as he said those words. He dramatically took off his masks then grinning evilly throwing his mask at the back. Rio let his power crawl unto his own sword making it glow brightly, this will let as a warning to his enemy to not mess with him as light is with him. William chuckled

"Oh Rio. You thought you can scare me on that foolish power of yours?" a smirking William taunt Rio.

"Give me the child and no one will be harmed. We can do this the hard way or easy way" William mocked. Athena didn't let herself be affected on that madman. Who does he think he is. No mother can give up her child, especially to lunatic man like him.

"Never, until my last breath. I will never give you my child" Athena said with full authority and braveness. Giving up her child is never been found on her plans. Over her dead body. They will come through her coffin first before they can even lay a finger on her own children.

"Okay, I was born with easy bargaining" said William with his sarcastic tone. As soon as he finished his own sentence he attacked along with his minion that has been waiting for his command. Athena and Rio move swiftly defending themselves .The room is now filled with the sounds of swords clashing on each other. Rio over William, Athena over his minion.

As the fight is getting deeper the child under the bed is crying his heart out, worrying about her parents fighting over what he calls monsters. The elders who are busy fighting didn't notice even a single cry from the child with the help of Athena's spell that hid the child's strong presence that affected his own voice, now even his shout and cries are now cannot be heard across the room.

You can't hide the fact that these enemies are quite skilled and powerful as they can match every single blow of the one of the greatest sword fighters, at least on the magic realm. No one inside the room had attained any cuts or bruises, as of now. Athena swung her sword swiftly that his enemy didn't have time to block causing the black mask on this enemies face fall off showing her not so familiar face. No one expected that this villain will be Athena's greatest friend. Her best friend, her sister. They've been through since childhood that Athena even considered her as part of her family.

"Verone" Athena said. She can't believe of what she saw, it left her speechless as tears are now showing at the side of her eyes. She's supposed to be on her side not the other way around

"Verone, how could you?"she asked her friend. Tears are now streaming on her cheeks. Verone started to attack again ignoring her friend's question. Or should we say ex friend.

"VERONE, ANSWER ME!? WHY?!" she asked once again. She's already shouting right now out of anger and disbelief. Negative feelings are now mixed and aching on her chest as she can't believe Verone betray her like this.

Verone smirked and answered.

"Simple, I HATE YOU. IT'S ALWAYS BEEN YOU! I'TS YOU WHO'S GREAT, IT'S YOU THAT'S KIND AND THIS AND THAT! IT'S ALWAYS BEEN YOU WHO'S STRONG, POWERFUL" Verone said. Both of them now are shedding tears. Pained expression are visible on this two beautiful woman's faces.

"Me? How about me!?" she continued sobbing as she spit those words on the latter.

"William. He's the only person who saw me behind your shadow. He's the only one who praised me on my actions. He loved me and I loved him too. I can do anything for him even betraying my own best friend who never really saw me as one" she said while tears are falling from her eyes as a slap landed on her face.

"I always see you as beautiful and good Verone. I never judge you the way you are. I've always cared, I've always loved you as my sister. But, you disappoint me, you disgust me Verone. YOU. DISGUST. ME" Athena said putting as much poison on her words. They fought each other again, anger is now centered on their minds as they clashed each other's weapons.

On the other side, Rio and William is fighting seriously. No sounds can be heard on the gentlemen's mouth. Up until now, Rio can't accept that his own brother will betray hm. The brother who he had loved and cared. The brother who's left as his family. So now, seeing his own brother's face pained him.

The gentlemen stopped fighting when they heard someone on the ladies groaning out of pain. Rio dropped his sword and saw the most devastating scene he had saw that made his blood run cold throughout his body. Athena who he had loved so much is now having a sword on her chest while blood is dripping on her mouth. He's not the guy with the most reaction but he found his self trembling out of fear of losing someone Ro didn't even reached Athena when the sword on her chest glowed with purple mist. Athena is using her power. At the back of Athena's mind said that if she will die on this state might as well dragged this traitor with her on hell. Her hands glowed dark purple as Death made its way on Verone's neck. Death is Athena's power. She's friends with Death since she was born on this world, so why not have some little request on her lifelong friend

"Even though you tricked me I still value you as my friend" Athena said with her power wrapping around Verone's throat.

"But I will never give you my son" she said with full of authority and love, a mother's love that's ready to give her life for his beloved children. And at that moment, Athena's deadly powers touched Verone's skin.

"I'm sorry" Verone said hinting the sadness that their once precious friendship has turned into this out of envy. Athena can't help but sob when she heard those two words.

"And…t-thank yo-you for be-being a fa-mi-mily" said Verone who's now having difficulty of breathing. She's slowly becoming into ashes but before she could totally vanish into the ashes a sad smile is painted on her face.

"Bye" Verone's one last word before she became one with the ashes.

"Bye" Athena replied she lost her strength from kneeling. William and Rio are speechless because of the scene. But when they regained consciousness, William hurriedly ran into the whole he made awhile ago as Rio rapidly attended Athena who's coughing her own blood.

"We're not done. I'll come back soon. And when the time comes, I'll surely succeed!" he said angrily. Rio who's now numb did not get affected of the taunting remarks but answered back with much more colder voice and attitude.

"Bring it" said Rio with a cold voice that even him can't recognize.

After William vanished on the sight the child who's been crying non-stop under the bed hurriedly ran unto his mother bloody sight.

"Mom!" Mark shouted as his tears made things blurry on his own eyes.

"Shhhhh, i-its o-okay s-swe-sweetie mo-mm-y w-will be f-in-fine" said Athena who's having difficulty on speaking as something is blocking her air way to breathe. Rio on the other hand is left speechless and can't even understand his own son let his tears fall for the first time in front of his family

"Mo-mom-my w-will go to the h-ha-ppy pl-ace al-long wi-with God" said Athena who's suffering still have the strength to give his boys a genuine smile. Rio's shoulder jerked as his sobs grow louder with his youngest. But before Athena's time run out she used every ounce of her power lest to cast a forbidden spell.

"With the God watching me, I will cast this spell along with my lover. For anyone who will scratch any weapon on this boy with an evil intension will die. No weapons can kill this innocent child but only God given powers" She said lastly until the end of her life. Mark and Rio are speechless because of what Athena casted.

"No!" Mark shouted. He hangs his head low still kneeling while curling his fist into a small round ball. He regretted doing nothing under the bed, if only he had not chicken out and run under the bed helping his parents fight the bad guys maybe her mother is still alive. Revenge is now painted on his young mind, he will find the man who also nearly killed his father. He'll finish him once and for all.

He lost control on his powers. The toddler is still crying when the temperature on the room started to go down. Ice is wrapping around his room's walls. The ground started rumbling uncontrollably as it burst out with lava burning anything on it's path. The wind is on rage as it blowing strong winds and now starting to be a large tornado who's destroying every living thing it comes along. Thunder roars in the sky as lightning strikes everywhere causing huge fire on the city. The ice on Mark's room is now crawling its way on the city splitting the city of ice and strong cold winds and roaring thunder and lightning while huge fire and lava burns everything. Everybody without knowing its cause called it the greatest catastrophe after the great war ended.

Rio is now worried on his youngest son, tried to calm down the toddler since his causing great damage on the city with the number of casualties rising by second. His older children also got on the youngest room and now trying the young child who's rage is uncontrollable. They can't even stand because of the strong quake.

Because the toddler can't control his own powers his energy is already running down and his body is getting weaker and weaker. His vision now is so blurry and he can't even hear and understand what his father and brothers saying. As his vision got more blurry and body got weaker, he can't seem to stop crying. Minutes later the young boy fall while his father catching him as he lay unconscious.
