The End of Basin Sacred Realm Dive

As Xiao Long landed on the frozen lake, in front of him was a large blue lotus flower. This thing had an impressive amount of energy radiating.

With hand motion barrier walls surrounding it, then letters started to manifest on them.

Once everything was set and ready, the Young Master did one more hand motion.

The roots have been cut.

*TREMBLE*

The ice shattered, and something started to rise.

It was an Overlord Realm beast.

Normally when mountain size creatures start rising from the frozen lake one would start to panic but, in this situation it was different.

By the time this thing fully left the lake Xiao Long was already next to his wife looking at the creature in front of him.

"You know, both of you are Ice users, this battle could take days." He said with a casual tone.

"Un…"

"Any ideas? Tactics? Hidden moves?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Overwhelm it with the sheer difference in cultivation?" She suggested with a simple tone.

"Hmm, could work." 

She then thought about something and lifted her hand. Flames started to manifest around her hand.

"...I do have the Equalising Physique." 

That moment she played with flames some more, but then the beast roared and tried to suck the pair in with a simple inhale. 

"...No."

Xia Qingyue allowed her flames to be inhaled which caused the beast to start screeching in pain.

"That's one burning throat." Xiao Long snorted to himself, he knows the feeling when you eat something spicy and feels like you are burning inside out.

"Well, at least it is working."

*Un. I can practise my fire on him." As the girl said that she proceeded to start throwing flaming balls. And continue to test how the flames work for her.

While she is doing that the Young Master simply watches her doing all that.

Before long, the beast got tired of trying to swallow the prey and instead tried to crush her with his enormous size.

But, it was considerably slower than Xia Qingyue who decided to get a little bit more ruthless.

The girl proceeded to target its face, especially the eyes.

As this continued she got better and better at fire manipulations, which should be no surprise since the Equalising Physique makes her fire control as good as her ice control.

The only issue is that they are different elements and they work in different ways.

Eventually, she stopped for a bit before raising her hand and the yin and yang symbol manifested, it was thin disc-shaped laying horizontally above her. 

Then above the symbol fire and ice started to gather in a perfectly shaped cube.

Xiao Long looked curiously at this. He never saw anything like this before.

She is utilising the physique differently from him. He created the Equalising Art and the Twin Explosions. But she is making something else entirely.

Once it was big enough, she casually threw it at the blind beast.

Who was swinging at something? 

The moment the blue and red ball slammed into the [Tyrant Profound] best frostbite and fire erupted around it. An extremely loud and painful screech followed.

The beast started to trash around from pain. It was burning and freezing at the same time.

'An Ice Profound Beast who is freezing to death, how absurd is that? It's like you are burning away a lava creature.'

Yet it was happening. Since it's 'Equalising' art. It means the ice and fire are at the same power, and since she has Ice Phoenix arts, her flames will be as potent as the ice. 

Sure enough, a few moments later the beast collapsed on its stomach and face. Half of it was charred and the other half was frozen. 

"...Impressive."

"Un! I remembered your art. It was far too complex so I created something less complex."

'Is she saying that I am overthinking?' For a second he frowned but then he floated over and stroked her hair.

"My Qingyue sure is impressive. You will be teaching me this trick of yours."

A beautiful smile blossomed on her face as she instantly snuggled into his arms.

For a few moments, the pair just stayed in their arms before they descended to where the beast was located. 

Next second behind Xiao Long, red dressed being manifested and with a casual motion the mountain size Profound Beast was cut to pieces.

"...Husband, what is that thing?"

"A Divine Manifestation. I made it into something akin to a bloodline power."

"...Bloodline power? So it can be inherited?"

"Yes. Though I will be giving these to you and the rest of my girls. Once we have kids they will inherit it naturally."

His words made her have a certain glint in her eyes. So he is already starting to think about having kids. Well, this is good! Another way for her to establish her supremacy. After all, once her children will start showing supremacy in talent it will be certain that she is the best wife there is!

While she was thinking about this with a rosy dreamy look, Xiao Long proceeded to collect the Profound Core and a certain blue seed.

Once that was done hand motioned his storage space opened up and swallowed the chopped up mountain size beast.

"Done. We should return to exploring to see if there is anything else here."

"Yes."

The rest of the explorers looked with horror at the distance as they heard the roars of the beast.

"To think that there was a [Tyrant Profound] Beast in this place." Ling Yuefeng said with disbelief. A cold chill washed over his body.

What if it was he who could awaken this thing before? He could have made the whole realm far too dangerous to explore. 

Thankfully this time around it was people who were at Monarch who awakened it and dealt with it. No matter how much he disliked the brat for WHAT he did. He was still grateful for taking care of such a threat.

"Yes. Truly a terrifying discovery. We still don't know the full size of this place and what kind of secrets it's hiding." One of the Heavenly Sword Villa elders said with an awed look. This has restored his faith in this place that there could be some incredible treasures waiting to be discovered.

"This place is perfect for me to figure out how space works." Xiao Long said as he was at one of the boundaries of the realm.

The place is quite massive but not massive enough for one not to find the boundaries of this place.

"Hmm, what are you thinking, husband?"

"To figure out how space works and replicate it." He said with a small smile. This is crucial for his next plot. 

He needs to figure out how to make space boundaries like this realm.

As he will be making a fake legacy for those rings. Trial grounds need to be made.

This place could serve him to find clues to build the Fake legacy grounds.

"Is this related to that plot you are thinking of for the Realm of Gods?" She asked him as the beauty walked over to his side.

She could see a bunch of barrier walls all over the boundary of this realm.

"Yes. The arrays are still deciphering how Profound Energy is doing this. It shouldn't be hard—in theory, but like always, power is the answer to the majority of issues. Sadly, I can't just sit around and cultivate. Things need to be prepared before I simply sit down and cultivate."

She nodded to his words before gently taking his arm.

"Yes. But for now, you don't need to just wait, come join me and let's get something to eat~"

"You just want me to roast some meat for you."

"Maybe~ I rarely get you for myself like this."

He chuckled for a bit before leaving the arrays to do their work. Instead, he went to start making a small campfire and start cooking.

While this is happening the black-haired girl simply hummed to herself as she observed his work.

'So in layman's terms, you take Profound energy and turn it into 'space' then place A and expand the B to the size you want before placing the B down.

In theory, this is extremely easy. But the amount of energy needed is quite a bit. But, this is just expansion itself. 

We still have pathways from A to B, Place One and Two and with the same remnant energy and you can make a wormhole.'

Xiao Long stroked his chin while looking at what the arrays had deciphered for him.

He has a general idea, now the issue is finding the Space Profound energy itself.

'I wonder…didn't my Goddess Ying'er brough everything from the Mighty Heavenly Sword Region? They should have schematics for a Portal which leads to Illusory Demon Continent.

They did after all invade that place.'

As he thought about it he started writing down his findings. He will have fun with this at a later date.

He will show these ignorant people why space laws are regarded as one of the most dangerous things in existence.

"Did you find anything interesting?" His darling wife asked him as she hugged him from behind.

"Yes. Now we can return. I got everything I wanted in this place."

"Sure~"

The pair waited leisurely for them to get ejected. Which happened around 5 hours later, they spend quite a bit on something akin to a date in the wilderness. 

Something Xia Qingyue enjoyed. She enjoyed anything as long as he can be with her husband alone.

She should steal him for a week again. Since the marriage between him and Cang Yue is happening soon.

As the pair reappeared in the Heavenly Sword Villa they saw how everyone is getting teleported out.

"...Do you think it's wise to invite the Young Master of the Burning Heaven Clan? He could use his new connections to enrich his clan."

"I am, especially when we are talking about outsiders."

"Yet, you don't comment on Cang Yue or Xue'er family abusing these connections." He pointed out with a smirk.

"...Those are different. They are your family through marriage."

When she realised what this was she started to laugh. As the Demon Lord was forced to look at the monument. And the monument describes how the young generation beat up the old one.

Such this is simply horrible for the proud old men. And now he is the one who has to suffer!

"What of it? You passed out and I couldn't let you room the Blue Wind Empire just like that." The Young Master said with a frown.

"You have no respect for your elders!"

"You are not my elder. So I don't need to respect you." He said with a simple shrug.

"Now the tournament is over and I can do whatever I want. I will be taking you with me, old Demon. You will have first-row seats to watch how my Sect invades your Illusory Demon Continent."

Yun Canghai deeply frowned when he heard that.

"You are a foul thing. Why not just kill me and be done with this?"

"I don't believe in simple killing. Especially when someone has greater uses.

Maybe I can use you as a bargaining chip. With whatever force is now ruling your continent. I could sell you for some piece of land and build up a force there before continuing to invade further or something else. Who knows. We have time, enough time to cause a shift to make that continent fall into my hands."

While the demon was silent Xia Qingyue looked at her husband. This is new! He is planning something? There is another continent? 

This was new. She should stay with him more often, the girl could pick up all sorts of interesting things from the looks of it.

The Huan Family have Golden Crow blood flowing through their veins."

The old Yun expected some sort of awe from their pair but all he got was a casual look.

It was as if they don't see anything special, or they haven't realised what the Golden Crow is.

"So they are just like the Divine Phoenix Empire, relying on a dead God to help them rule.

I have no idea why you have such loyalty to such a family."

Xiao Long asked casually.

"A junior like you would never understand." Yun Canghai said with a snort.

"True. We are on different levels. When you bow to a family who uses dead God's blood for supremacy, I revive that god and turn it into a contracted beast." As Young Master said, he rolled up his right sleeve and showed his hand.

There were four tattoos on it.

"Phoenix, and Primordial Azure Dragon God. Both are my contracted beasts."

After showing them he fixed his sleeve.

"So yes. I have no idea. Maybe you are meant to be a follower and not the one who makes people follow you."

"..."

After saying that he motioned with a hand and the chains reacted around the Yun. He was forced to fly after Xiao Long.

"Husband, this old man, he is making you angry." Xia Qingyue noticed that her husband is somewhat angry when he is around this old Demon.

"Yeah. He is annoying, he is very proud of his basic strength. It makes me annoyed."

"Why? Why do you even care?" She asked with a curious gaze. This was the first time she saw him getting so easily annoyed.

"It makes me annoyed that they are so proud of something so basic. Cultivation itself is the basics, the foundation of one's power. Yet, they think it's THE power. At least in the Realm of Gods, they have legacies to make it more diverse.

Imagine a competition where a pair of people showing off their house foundations instead of comparing the houses built on them. 

It's absurd and hilarious, at least get a legacy or two, maybe make a couple of your own. Maybe then we can start comparing something!" Xiao Long said while turning around and looking at Yun Canghai who was perplexed hearing that.

The kid says some crazy stuff, but he has no means to deny what he just heard.

The kid has two gods contracted as a pair of beasts and he lives on a floating island.

"I guess, but my husband, not everyone thinks like you." Xia Qingyue decided to cheer him up and quickly floated to his side.

"Let these basic people do their basic things, while you continue to do your thing."

"Yes. Anyway, You can go back to the manor while I will take this old man to get some rest."

The black-haired girl nodded at him as she flew towards the manor while Xiao Long decided to take him to a spare pavilion. The Demon King still has some use.
