1 Prologue

It was a dark place.

If negative light intensity existed, it could perhaps be measured in this place.

A lone boy was in the dark void, a space where directions didn't exist.

He slowly opened his eyes but all he could see was total darkness. It was as if his eyes were still closed.

How did he get here? Attempting to recall his memories, all he could remember was a flash brighter than the sun. It enveloped him while he was in a tight embrace with two other people. It doesn't explain how he had gotten here, even though that flash can disintegrate all matter.

Is he actually dead? Could this place be the so-called afterworld?

As the true owner of this body, he should be able to remember the events that had transpired even when the false owner was in control. Amnesia should not have been possible after how much his body had been altered.

He looked at his hands clad in the Techionic armour. Oddly enough, he could see them without the presence of light.

"Chaos existence, why are you here?"

A sudden voice resonated in his head. It possessed a strong and majestic tone, but having the voice directly transmitted into his head was distressing.

A bright orb of light emerged out of the darkness and slowly stopped in front of the boy. As his eyes were adapted to the darkness of the void, the sudden appearance of light caused him to squint his eyes while enduring the burns it's giving to his retina.

"....?"

The boy opened his mouth to speak but was unable to produce any sound.

"We have used a spell to send you into a dream-like state and only we are capable of talking in it. Even though this is a dream, when you wake up, you will remember everything that had happened here."

Without waiting for any response, the orb of light continued to speak in an almighty tone.

"We are the god of light, one of the two gods who created this world you barged into. And you are a chaos existence, a being that disrupts the arcane laws of this world. We demand that you return to your own world as soon as possible. If you do not return, we will have to eliminate you."

For the first time, the boy made an expression. A frown with a slight glare mixed into it.

"G-god huh… Unfortunately, I don't... know what you are talking about... Return to my... own world?"

"Hoh. As expected of a chaos existence, to be able to defy our spell with sheer will. But what do you mean you don't know? Come on, you should be able to know more than that. Tell us why you are unable to your world."

Unable to speak anymore, the boy simply shook his head. It was incredibly taxing on his body just to utter those few words.

"Hm, it seems like you really do not know. Fine, out of generosity, we shall not kill you because you do not have a choice of returning. But allow us to restrict your arcane powers, we cannot have you causing upheaval. You chaos existences are eternal just like us after all."

The voice stopped resonating in his head for a split second.

And the God of Light said one word.

"Arstalitus!"

This time, the boy's ears picked up the sound. However, it seemed as if it had came from every direction.

Several magic formations of different shapes containing intricate writing suddenly appeared around him.

"Rest assured, this will not bring you any physical or mental harm, it only seals your arcane powers. As a precaution, I used my strongest sealing spell and tracking spell since I do not know how strong a chaos existence <Ataxia> truly is."

Chains of light shot out from the magic formations and they coiled around every inch of the boy's body.

Despite that, the boy felt no changes to his body. He couldn't help but ponder the effectiveness of the magic.

"Well then, you need to wake up now and find a way to return to your world. You appeared in the middle of a dense forest, being asleep any longer would be dangerous…"

Perhaps that was the parting message, the boy's vision slowly started to fade as if falling unconscious.
