1 Just The Beginning

IT was a bright sunny morning in early June, teens walking out the front doors of Ravenhall high school, 16-year-old Lydia Choi was walking with her two best friends Taylor James and Elena Aldea to her brother's car. " So you guys coming over tonight ?" asked her friends as she stopped at the black SUV. " Yeah, I mean at least I get to see your hot brother again. " " EWW!!! Really!" "TAYLOR!!" Lydia and Elena shouted with an eye-rolled. " I was joking!" she defended herself throwing her hands up. " yeah .. right," Elena said while Lydia look kind of disturbed. " Chris, Felix Hurry up !!!" Lydia yelled to her brothers as they walked to the car.

18-year-old Chris, Lydia's twin Felix " oh hush, Lil sis! " Chris said as he unlocked the car. "you were talking too long" she pouted crossing her arms, "Oh shut up and get in the car," said Felix from the passenger side of the car. Lydia stuck her tongue out at him and he rolled his eyes at her.

she turned to her friends, "see you tonight." she hugged them and turned to get in the car. The two girls walked Elena's car.

Chris parked the car in the driveway, "it looks like mom is already gone." said Felix as him and his siblings got out of the car and walked to the front door of the two-story house. "yeah, she probably left a note." replied Chris as he unlocked the door.

"yeah because she can't bear to say goodbye to her KIDS!" Lydia said sarcastically as she walks in the house to the living room.

"come on, Lyds she would if she had the time," Chris replied as he followed his sister.

"Chris, you're the one that raised us since dad died! she could care less!" Felix yelled from the kitchen.

"yep," Lydia said as she turned on the TV. Chris sighed as he sat down on the couch beside his sister." I guess you got a point." he commented." someone should go to the store to get food." commented Felix as he walked from the kitchen with a bottle of water in hand. "I'll go," said Chris as he got off the couch and got up to get the car keys. "Ok!" the twins replied eyes glued to the TV. He rolled his eyes and laughed as he walked out the front door to the car.
