1 Prologue

It was 2655, the century with the biggest leap in technology. Interstellar travel has become as common and cheap as regular travel. With the discovery of Knons, radioactive material in the planet Kna-aria in Sector 24, the genetic makeup of humans changed drastically.

This material directly affects the mid-central part of the brain inducing what is called the 7th sense. The 7th sense allows a person to form beast contracts.

These beasts are creatures that have awakened their true forms due to the 7th sense contract with the people.

The beasts are divided into four major categories – mutant, noble, divine and primordial. When these beasts form a blood contract with a host, the hosts' strength improvements directly boost the beasts.

After a point, the beasts evolve into one of the three awakened forms – the tailed KREES, the draconic TRIDES and the ancient ASURAS.

The Krees are beasts that have evolved with multiple tails where the power is proportional to the number of tails.

Trides are dragons evolved from beasts. They have major draconic characteristics with a minor original beast resemblance. Asuras are a rare evolution, as it directly invokes the primordial ancient bloodline and is considered to be the strongest.

The Knons are the best weapon of defence and attack the human race possesses against the other races in the long waging interstellar war.

Till now there are 35 sectors known, each sector containing at least a million planets of different sizes. In these sectors, there are 5 predominant races. The elves, humans and demons.

The demons are split into two races – the fire borne surtrs and the ice borne jotuns. Unlike the elves and humans, the demons cannot form blood contracts.

Unlike elves and humans, the demons cannot for natural blood contracts.

Therefore, they cannot raise Trides and Krees. These creatures are very rare in demonic sectors and they are usually forced into submission.

This story is set in the period after the second great war between the three races and is supposedly a peaceful time.
