First kill

The fight went on for a while, the assailant didn't have a weapon as he was overconfident that he could deal with a kid by himself

Kenny stayed on the offensive using his movement skill and lion claw skill using the dagger as part of the claw, as time went on Kenny was getting exhausted but he was just stalling for time he never had the intention to fully kill the person

It was at this time that they could hear the guards rushing over through the walkway, the assailant who was bruised all over by Kenny's offense was now more aggressive as he went for a punch straight for Kenny's stomach which he dodged

The assailant used the momentum of the punch to move forward and strive with a backhand punch to Kenny's face, he didn't have time to dodge this like before so he had to defend, he jumped up and made his shoulder come in contact with the strike so he was blown to the right wall

The assailant didn't continue attacking as he just left through the window at full speed, Kenny lay there on the floor near the wall, blood in his mouth but he didn't show any pain on his face. He sat there as his gaze was glowing, he thought back to the incident just now as he understood what he had to do

He had to put an end to this, at this time the door to his room opened as the guards walked in, they looked at Kenny and one of the guard was starting to rush back to inform Kenny's father

Kenny waved his hand and called him to stop, he asked one of the guards to fetch some potions to recover, and told them to keep this a secret and not let his father know, while the guards were dispersing Kenny called the guard who was going to inform his father and gave him a note and sent him away

Kenny sat on the bed and started to recover his strength and stamina and slept, if anyone saw how soundly he was sleeping you would this if the fight before was just am illusion or something

The next day, Kenny got ready as usual and he went to the dining table to eat breakfast as usual

But this time he sat next to Billy, his esteemed guest and gave him a big smile. There was a hint of mockery in his smile too, Billy's was visibly frightened, he was uncomfortable sitting next to him

As the breakfast went on Kenny asked Billy, "I heard you have a younger sister, how is she doing?"

Billy was frowning, but he put up a smile nonetheless and said "thank you for asking Kenny, she's fine she's about your age, you should meet her sometime"

Kenny laughed loudly at this and said "sure I will"

John and Sarah looked at each other, confused at the conversation

Billy couldn't take it anymore, he wanted to find an excuse to leave so he called his attendant over to talk to him

As the attendant walked over and bent to listen to what his mater wanted to say, he was right in between Kenny and Billy, it was because Billy had called him to this side

As the attendant bent over, Kenny reached out to the dagger in his hands and stabbed him in the neck with no hesitation, it was one fluid motion, it was a perfect strike

The attendant was wide eyed, he was so surprised he didn't know what happened, the last thing he saw was Kenny standing there just smiling lightly as if nothing had happened, and his dead body fell half on the table with his blood flowing on it

John spat out the water he was swallowing, and stood up

Sarah let out a scream after a while as she finally processed what had happened

Billy just sat there on his chair with his eyes closed and a face was as if he had eaten a sour lemon

Kenny recalled all the bizarre things that had happened - the attack in the city with 3 pursuers, the weird rumour that Kenny was disrespecting Billy, the talk with the attendant about negotiating, the attack on Kenny last night

It was clearly targeting him but he still felt something was off about the whole thing, how could the attacker even get into the mansion of the Williams family so easily , unless he was already inside

Who would dare to hire mercenaries to attack Kenny, unless he was confident he would not be found out

So Kenny turned to Billy and said coolly "why does your brother want you killed? What did you come here for?" in front of everyone
