Exploring the city

Kenny won the race afterwards and was stretching on the side, Billy looked at him like he was looking at a monster and but his eyes got clearer and started to laugh, he said after a while "young master Kenny you truly surprise me, Vayu breeze movement skill sure lives up to it's name"

Kenny looked at him and nodded saying "yeah it truly is"

Billy sighed and went back to the mansion, Kenny went to his room thought about the race 'if it wasn't for the drafting that I came up with, it truly would be close'

Billy also thought in his room 'if it wasn't for his movement skill, then I would easily have won, if only I could get it'

The next day when Kenny got to the dining hall to eat breakfast with his family, Billy was present there like usual for the past few days. John suggested to Kenny that Billy and Kenny go spend the day in the city rather than just stay home like always

Kenny was reluctant for a second but he realized he should spend some time outside his compound walls and explore the city so he agreed to do so

After breakfast Kenny, Billy and Vance all three went to the city on foot because Kenny wanted to experience the journey as well, the place Williams lived was near the royal palace and so the surrounding place was well maintained, after a while of walking Kenny saw many carriage moving along the road with various family crest on them which was common

At the end of the road, they saw a compound where the guards were extra strict as this wall separated the inner and outer part of the city. The inner part is where the nobles and other rich merchants live whereas the outer part had all the stores and further away had the housing for common people

Kenny and friends walked out and was quite surprised as the people were lively with all kinds of store and all kinds of people walking in and out of places which was truly a sight to watch

As they were strolling around the city, Kenny thought to himself 'this capital truly isn't bad, I can see people genuinely like their king and respect him

They went into a store and Kenny bought a dagger worth 50 gold, it was very light weight and really sharp

currency of the world was divided into silver and gold where one gold was worth 1000 silver, there was also bronze coins but it's not worth mentioning…. Yet

after his purchase, they strolled around the city more where Vance bought a couple bottle of potions and pills to increase his cultivation base and Billy just walked along without buying anything

when entering a certain alley way while walking, Kenny saw a group of beggars talking amongst themselves but the peculiar thing was that the talk was very secretive and they were all very vigilant,

when the saw the kids, they changed their topics and started rambling about random stuff but when they saw Kenny, their eyes were shining and looked at him like they were watching a celebrity, it was odd because watching nobles strolling was a common thing

Kenny didn't mind it and when they went to the other alley way to go to the main road, they were met with a sudden ambush, 3 black robed men with their hands hidden were walking his way, clearly they were cultivators as their eyes were shining with circulating mana

Kenny immediately told Billy and Vance that they were in a dangerous situation and that he was gonna leave, he didn't wait for a response as he just started sprint with full speed in the direction he came from and while he was speeding out he could hear the beggars say "it's true"

As soon as he sped off, the 3 hooded men as well as Billy and Vance were stunned. Billy was confused but he realized what Kenny said and sped off as well instead of confronting the enemy as well, it wasn't long before they caught up with Kenny as they used their mana as well

The 3 pursuers chased after them as well, by this time Kenny had came up with a plan, he knew he couldn't out run the 3 of them so he sped us as fast as he can into a well reputed pill store in the city

Usually at places like this, there will always be guards of 4th level of moral stage atleast and quite a few of them too for the fear of cultivators stealing the pills

The rest followed in as well but the 3 pursuers didn't, it was then that Kenny felt it was weird for people to target him, he was the son of one of the most important person in the country, to plot against such a young kid who wasn't even a threat was just odd
