Chapter 3 - Leaving The Village

"System what does it do?" Altough Chu Feng was currently only 6 years old, with his past lives memory's he knew how important power was so he was extremel hungry for power and hoped this would help him towards his first Spirit Ring.

"Good, i want to reach Spirit Level 10 as fast as possible but i should first think of a way to absorb a higher Spirit Ring before deciding what my first Spirit Ring will be" Chu Feng thought and said,

"System, do you know the best way?"

[Host should make his body stronger to be able to absorb higher aged Spirit Rings, as for what way is the best the System can't answer that question Host]

Chu Feng's interest was piqued and sat up on his bed.

"Why can't you answer that question?"

[The System is meant to assist the Host in living a carefree life, not plan Hosts future]

"Seems fair enough, its better then having you correct my choices all the time"

"Tomorrow, the old man (Village Head) and Tang San will go to that academy. I will just here in the village untill i reach the 1st Stroke and Spirit Power Lvl10, i remember 4-eyes say Tang San had a 423 Year Old Spirit Ring as his first Spirit Ring"

Chu Feng looked in his inventory and withdrawed the Spirit Pellet, it looked like an ordinary white pingpong ball.

Chu Feng brought it to his mouth and bit it into pieces before swallowing it, the moment it went through his throat a big amount of Spirit Power went through his whole body.

He started cultivating to try absorbing all of the Spirit Power inside of him.

Slowly the Spirit Power dried up after bringing Chu Feng's Spirit Power all the way from Level 2 to Level 7!

Chu Feng had a quick thought that if he at a few more he would be able to reach Level 20 really fast but quickly removed those thoughts after feeling that the System wouldn't allow such an easy way to gain strength but still couldn't resist asking about it.

"Is there a limit of the amount i can take in?"

[Yes, the Small version of the Spirit Pellet can only be taken in between the Levels 1-20 but it stays the same enough of Spirit Power that is inside of the Pellet]

"Oke good, i thought i made a stupid decision instead waiting untill i was Level 14" Chu Feng gave a sigh of relief and opened his eyes with a serious expession.

"Lets train"

-----------2 Weeks Later-----------

2 Weeks flew by but Chu Feng barrely left 50 meters outside of his house, you could either see him do Push-ups and Sit-ups or swinging his sword wich became harder to see day by day.

After day 3 Chu Feng went to Level 8. At day 7 he reached Level 9 and it took him a whole week to go from Level 9 to Level 10

If he wasn't training then he would be cultivating and vice-versa.

Behind the hut Chu Feng was swinging his sword over and over again, his blade was almost invisible so he kept swinging and swinging.

Finally after another 2 hours of swinging, the blade dissapeared while cutting a fallen leaf.

"Aaghhh.... Atleast give me a warning!" Chu Feng held his hands over his eyelids while cursing the System internally, altough it did cause some pain it was more uncomfortable then painful.

The pain subsided and Chu Feng opened his eyes and walked to the creek behind his house and looked into his own reflection.

His hair was still white but his blue eyes turned red it gave him somewhat of an demonic charm and with his body that was comparable with a 12 year old he truly looked handsome, Chu Feng looked at the reflection again and smiled.

'This body is so handsome, i hate being only 6 years old!' Chu Feng lamented his fate that he needed to wait atleast another 8 years untill using his gun...

'...I'm doing Nightmare mode, i don't care how but i'm doing it.' Chu Feng thought to himself without any hesitation

"Its nice to hear you again System but why did you give me multiple versions of the same quest?"

"I see, i didn't expect quest to fall under that catagory aswell" Let me test these eyes out first.

Chu Feng looked at the grass that was similair to Tang San's Soul Spirit and something appeared above it.

'So its like an Information Guide, i might be able to find some Natural Treasures this way!'

Chu Feng's had a sharp look while thinking about how much smoother his journey had become since he would need some Natural Treasures to make his body stronger to be able to absorb a 5.000 Year Old Spirit Ring.

"Its time to leave the village" Chu Feng sighed and went into his hut to grab his spare money that amounted to 5 Silver and 20 Coppers.

He looked around the hut one last time while remembering the memory's of the old Chu Feng, his nails grabbed into his hands sinds it felt like they just packed up and left without giving f*ck about their kid.

"Fine, i'll promise you this. That father of yours i will kill and i will find out if your mother is still alive. If she did the same as your dad i will kill her to." He clearly felt the despair, loneliness, sorrow the old 'him' felt these 5 years.

Chu Feng closed the door behind him and walked out of the village, altough the old man checked on him every now and then that was mostly because he was obliged to do so as the Village Head.

The only person he could be considered friends with was Tang San but he was already at Nuoding Academy. Who knows when they meet again....

Chu Feng walked out of the village with a nothing in his arms since everything was in his inventory.

"Some of these items better are their money's worth"Chu Feng was dumbfounded on reading the prices, a 100.000 Year-Old Spirit Ring! He didn't know yet how strong monsters in general are, let alone a 100.000 Year Old one!

"I should first buy all 3 of the Iron Bones Pellet" Chu Feng planned his future goals and walked out of the vision of the Village, he gave one last nostalgic sigh and walked on towards the new adventures.

After walking for a few days he finally arrived at his destination.....

The Forest Of Fighting Stars.

This forest isn't like any other man-made forest, The Forest Of Fighting Stars size keep inscreasing every year and new monsters keep popping up.

At the edge of the forest was youth walking towards the Outer-layer of the forest.

Chu Feng, who was that exact youth was summoned Asura's Blade and went inside the forest.

"I should've taken the road like a normal person" Chu Feng almost screamed while trying to regain his composure. After a few minutes his face was returned to his handsome cold face.

"System activate the Map" He calmly said while keeping an eye around him.

A map appeared inside of Chu Feng's head and a few white light dots were shown on it.

"Lets first test Invisible Blade on a 10 year old Spirit" Chu Feng walked towards one of light dots and after a minute of walking the Beast came into his sight.

• A very average wolf, very fast for a normal 10-Year-Old Beast

The wolf noticed Chu Feng to and ran towards him while Chu Feng calmly readied his sword.

'Now!' Chu Feng moved his sword while performing 'Invisible Slash'

'What the...' Chu Feng looked at his bloodied sword in confusion, behind him was a wolf split into two pieces from under his chin all the way through his body in one straight line.

"I guess that to be expected from the technique of a Goddess huh, i was to naïve to think a 10-Year-Old Beast could handle it"

Chu Feng had a bitter smile on his face, altough he believed he could beat the wolf, he didn't know how easy or hard it would be since it was his first fight in this world.

In his past life he had Close Combat in the army and even beat his instructor after only a few months there, he wouldn't dare underestimate a single Beast in here!

After he turned towards the corpse he saw a White Spirit Ring above the wolf, signaling that it truely was a 10-Years-Old Beast.

"Yes" Chu Feng had no use for 10-Year-Old Spirit Rings besides using them as currency in the shop, he turned at the forest and had a small smile on his lips and said,

"Oke, time to fight!"
