7 Not Her 3

The gates to the prison were opened, then they all sighed in relief.

"To what do I owe this pleasure?" The person said with the head still facing the ground.

In that prison was a lady, bound with heavy chains and covered in a bubble to enable her to breathe. When she lifted her head, there stood the most beautiful lady the magic realm had known and the most dangerous or so they thought.

"Isadora".

"Queen Isadora" the lady said with a half smile to the mer queen, "at least get that simple thing right since you made it possible".

"After all these years, you still have that poisonous tongue".

"Well time can't change some things, too bad it hasn't been enough to send you to your grave".

The mer princess charged towards her but was held back by the queen.

"Why don't you let her come to me, I'll be ready to host her well".

"Let it be" the mer queen said to her daughter through gritted teeth.

"You've overstayed your welcome Queen Marceline, princess Kaia" with that she put down her head, ignoring their presence.

"How dare you... "

"Kaia. That's enough" Queen Marceline said cutting her daughter short.

She swam a bit closer to the prison and said calmly...

"It wasn't you. But it felt the same, almost as eighteen years back. What did you do Isadora?".

No reply from the fairy queen.

"I'm talking to you Isadora" the mer queen said, raising her voice higher.

"Queen Isadora, Marceline".

The mer queen calmed down and spoke again. "There's no way you could have caused such an explosion and didn't escape.

"Why are you so scared?" Queen Isadora asked her.

"I'm not scared".

"Then why come to me? Leave".

"Just answer the question already" shouted the princess.

Queen Isadora chuckled, "Now I know the mother and daughter pair are daft".

"You said what...?"

"It's as you heard. How in the world would... " she shut her mouth and stopped to think, then bent her head.

"Answer me Isadora" the queen probed.

"Leave" she spoke again, then totally put her head down, ignoring them as they left. All the while, stopping to think. "Could it be... ".

In another kingdom, some men dressed in robes rushed into the throne room.

"Greetings your majesty" they greeted while half kneeling with a bow.

"What report have you?" the king asked them.

"Your majesty, it is her... The fairy queen" the first person reported.

"What about her?".

"What we felt just now, there's no doubt, it is her. Your daughter sire is alive" the second mage said with glee in his eyes.

"What did you say?" He said getting up from his throne.

"I said that your daughter... "

"I heard, I meant... How true?" Disbelief, surprise, joy... Different emotions were displayed on the king's face.

"Your majesty, there is no one in all the lands in the magical realm that can compare when it comes to a magic power like that".

"She wouldn't release such a magic for no reason... Isadora is in trouble" he thought out loud.

"Your majesty, if its the Fairy queen, no doubt she can handle it" another mage chipped in.

"She stayed hidden all these years, then why now, why did she reveal herself like that?. Knowing fully well that they would all come for her" he said again having an headache just thinking of the possible danger his daughter was in.

"Perhaps it's a trap she is setting and doing it intentionally" the first mage spoke.

"Sound the alarm, I want every mage and fairy working on how to break the barrier, she needs our help. There should be no rest till its done".

"Yes your majesty, understood".

"You may leave" he said turning towards his throne.

In the Elf kingdom...

"Reporting to his majesty" the elf that entered the throne room said with a bow.

"Rise, carry on" he said to the lieutenant.

"Your majesty, they spotted some soldiers in the forest chasing after two ladies, we believe one of them to be her" he reported to the king.

"Did the human soldiers catch them?" the prince asked walking in to the throne room.

"Your majesty" he bowed to his father and stood up.

"Your highness, greetings" the Lieutenant greeted the crown prince.

"They haven't caught them... "

"Why? Interrupted a fine handsome elf as he entered the throne room as well.

"Your majesty" he bowed to the king.

"Greetings your highness".

"Blade".

"Father... "

"Blade, whence cometh thou?" the crown prince asked his younger brother.

"Scouting brother, greetings".

"As usual I see".

"Why haven't they caught her?"...

"She had help, the lady with her is a sorceress".

"What?" They all chorused in shock except Prince Blade.

*********

In the human kingdom, the throne room.

"Yes, yes, you've put her in the dungeons right? Come in give me the good news, don't make me wait" the king said with all eagerness.

"Your majesty they escaped... "
