Hei observes the sky without sparing the 6 another glance. Due to their fear or genuine curiosity as to what Hei could be possibly looking at in the sky, they actually focus their attention towards the constantly agitated dark clouds.

As usual, lightning strikes and thunder claps without the slightest of warning. A black bear and 6 males in worn armor with tired faces, not exactly the most beautiful scene to picture compared to beautiful princesses and charming princes.

However, for some reason, just knowing that they are sitting with a Young Master who doesn't seem to put on any airs with them seems to bring them a kind of awe, respect and appreciation no beauty could possibly create.

Their previously agitated and worried expressions slowly transform into peace and calm as they continue to observe the lightning and listen to the thunder. The howling wind that causes the dark vegetation to sway and the soft and slightly moist ground gives on the feeling of sitting in a place of catastrophe.

But for some reason, an indescribable feeling similar to resisting all odds seems to surface in their minds. They ponder as to what could possibly be learnt from observing the skies. Hei's voice calmly echoes, "What is the difference between lightning and thunder?"

The 6 suddenly look on the black bear which seems at one with its surroundings but they are completely sure that a terrifying energy lays silent within its simple looking body. One of the 6 replies, "Answering Young Master's question, lightning is the energy created from sudden electrical discharges in the atmosphere or at a particular area. Thunder is the sound made by lightning."

Hei continues to observe the sky as he poses another question. "So the fundamental theory is that they are 2 different concepts or at the very foundations, thunder is just a byproduct. Is this correct?" They all nod in agreement as this seems quite logical and represents what they were taught from ever since they have been growing.

Hei seems slightly amused by this as he laughs a bit. This causes them to slightly furrow their brows. "Young Master…is it to say that you have comprehended something different?" The squad leader asks with reverence.

"Indeed, it could be said I have. Why is it that thunder laws and lightning laws are used to describe the same basic thing? What rule says thunder is the byproduct of lightning? Maybe the thunder is the wanted result and the lightning is just used to achieve the thunder. Overall, if one were to focus on fully utilizing the element, then it could be said that both parts should be considered as the one element, just a side to it."

"Furthermore, understanding the basis behind both sides will increase your battle power exponentially. Many lightning users simply focus on the electrical aspect but what about the thunder? The electrical aspect is the charged energy."

"The thunder could be considered another aspect which is the force of the energy. Directing the thunder with the energy known as lightning….wouldn't that create something much more terrifying? Instead of wasting one side of the energy in favor of another, why not combine them?"

The eyes of the dragons widen in understanding as they observe the skies once more. Silently pondering, the previous random strikes in the sky seem quite different from before. Before, they would only see lightning striking and then thunder follows with a roar.

Now, they actually get the feeling that both are occurring in a unique manner that seems to create a flow. The electrical energy moves and force of this movement seem to create a unique significance. The skies seem even more dangerous as they marvel at how powerful lightning can be.

While they might not practice lightning laws, their general outlook on cultivation have definitely improved. This will be quite beneficial to their future as they will look on things in a much deeper manner. Critically analyzing the simplest of things will definitely increase their battle power.

They continue to stare at the sky but suddenly, their clothes begin releasing a bit of light. They all take out tokens which has the word dragon it. The voice of a single person can be heard, "Squad 100, there are some Nameless Sect persons reportedly coming from Zone 31 and will be at your current locations shortly if they follow the same route. Stall them until reinforcements arrive."

Right before the transmission is about to end, a person's voice could be heard laughing with clear cruelty. The 6 open their eyes wide as they look on each other. Despair washes over them as they sigh. The leader calmly nods, "This is it brothers. Our squad is gone now. The battles between that bastard patriarch's sons have reached a stage where even the unimportant figures are being implicated."

Hei listens as he observes the sky but pretends he hasn't heard a thing. Long ago, he sensed the approaching sect members but remained quiet about this. The squad leader shakes his head, "The patriarch is the worst dragon to exist. His children are all bastards just like him. If we weren't poor, then we wouldn't have to even join this sect."

The rest of the squad clenches their fists in anger and bitterness as they glance in the direction of Zone 31. While they aren't physically crying, the pain and anger in their hearts can be seen on their faces clearly. However, when they look on each other, their good brothers which they grew up with, a helpless smile can be seen on their faces.

The squad leader sighs as he gives his final thoughts, "We might be going to our deaths but we can't die for nothing. We chose to join this sect due to our financial needs as cultivators. While it's obvious we are about to die because that bastard hates the other bastard we are allied with, we still chose this path. We will die honorable deaths."

The squad members all put their hands at their heart as they solemnly swear to meet in the next life. In the direction of Zone 31, over 100 energy signatures can be felt incoming. Every single energy signature is actually in the Essence Gather Step! No matter how brave this squad is, death is the only option for them if they choose to stay.

The squad leader grits his teeth and says with a slightly cautious but worried tone, "Young Master…this area will probably be a battlefield soon. We will try to stall them but they will eventually kill us and head here…I don't want your clan to…"

Hei's voice rings out with pure nonchalance, "I said sit and observe the sky. What is the matter?" The eyes of the 6 open wide in shock as they cannot help but look on each other. The same thought runs through their mind as they cannot help but see the hope in each other's eyes. "It seems the Young Master has a plan!" "Young Master is going to help us!"

They quickly sit as they continue to observe the sky but feeling anxious is something they are unable to avoid. Very quickly, the Nameless Sect squad approaches as their footsteps from their movement techniques echoes into the distance. Sensing that there are just 7 persons ahead, they continue until they are just a mere 200 meters before stopping.

In front, a beautiful female with black hair wearing glasses can be seen. This familiar face makes Hei slightly smirk in his mind. She is dressed in light silver armor and a silver bow can be seen on her back. Her eyes reveal a sharp and piercing gaze as if she can lock onto anything in the smallest time possible.

She laughs a bit, "Squad of 6 dragons and what is that, a bear?" Many persons behind her laugh as they look on the 7 beasts staring the sky. While the 6 dragons seem quite wary and take slight glances at the enemy troops, the bear doesn't seem to care as if it has resigned itself to fate.

Due to her cautious nature however, Xing Lang asks, "You there, Black Bear Beast, what is your identity? You're not a dragon; however, are you a dragon sympathizer?" Hei doesn't look at her at all as he continues to observe the sky.

This causes the many persons from the Nameless Sect to frown in displeasure. "Squad Leader Sniper Wolf, just kill them all!" "Squad Leader, let's have roasted dragon and roasted bear!" Many words of anger and mockery to their enemies ring out behind Xing Lang.

For some reason, the more Xing Lang observes the black bear; she gets a slightly familiar but scary feeling. She thinks to herself, "That bear probably isn't normal…It's the leader…the others are glancing at us and then the back to the sky but it continues to do it and they seem to not dare to disobey. They are all Essence Gathering cultivators and are respectful! Furthermore, they aren't running and are probably waiting on it to take action….which means…it's probably an expert!"

Xing Lang analyzes the situation in her head as she awaits an answer from the bear. Hei slowly and lazily speaks without much care, "Your desire…is it to attack or to go around us peacefully?"

Sniper Wolf's eyes narrow in suspicious as she listens to the slightly familiar voice; however she is unable to put the voice to a known face. Furthermore, the more important aspect of the sentence is the words spoken and the manner it was spoken in!

With an annoyed voice, she replies, "Whether you're strong or not, do not get involved in other's affairs. Don't think we are weak. What if we want to attack? Those 6 deserve death." As if remembering the news of her neighbor being kidnapped, Xing Lang emits killing intent towards the 6 dragons.

Hei casually comments, "I do not care about your grievances…but these 6 are accompanying me on my small outing. You all can go kill some others." Xing Lang shakes her head as she replies, "Arrogant…you're truly arrogant but we will take no excuses. Everyone, prepare to…"

Suddenly, she notices that a black bear is standing right in front of her. In the small interval of blinking, the bear already stood up and actually appeared directly in front of her. Furthermore, it is actually standing up with its arms folded across its chest.

She looks up and notices the deep and unfathomable dark eyes and shivers. The faces of the entire squad drain of all color as they gasp in shock and horror. Faster! This chubby looking bear is way too fast!

"Having a bit of beauty doesn't mean I will not rid the world of you and let your squad follow to accompany you. When you meet the king of hell, ask him about Young Master Tianxiong." Hei's bestial energies suddenly erupt from within his body as a terrible force of repression seems to descend on the Nameless Sect's troops.

"Scram before this Young Master has to get his claws dirty. Return with reinforcements and I will come destroy your sect with full force. Convey a message to your leader. Tell them this Young Master has claimed this entire area as a temporary residence. Anyone who interrupts me will die."

Hei looks at the direction of the Nameless Sect. "So that little white place is your sect huh? This Young Master hates white too. Hei's claws suddenly draw across space as a gigantic rip is made. An astral gate is made right in front of the gates of the Nameless Sect.

"Scram, this Young Master is feeling lenient. In 3 seconds, this gate will vanish and so will you all. Choose how you want to vanish." The brains of the Nameless Sect squad members suddenly go sluggish but then a split second decision is made by many.

Without waiting on Xing Lang's instructions, they immediately run into that Astral Gate. Only a few of the braver members await Xing Lang's instructions. Seeing many already retreating and the fact that this Young Master who seems much more powerful and unfathomable compared to her, she reluctantly gives the order to retreat.

As the rest of the members retreat, the last person to head into the already shrinking astral gate is actually Xing Lang. She gives Hei one last look as she enters. However, from the corner of her eyes, she notices that the previous vicious black bear has a small smile on its face as if it saw something amusing.

The astral gate fully closes as Hei looks back on the 6 dragons. Their faces which were previously filled with fear have totally transformed. Happiness and relief are 2 of the many emotions which can be seen. A bow of gratitude is done by the 6 as they say in unison, "Thank you Young Master Tianxiong for saving our lives!"

Their gratitude can be felt from their words which come directly from their hearts. Hei nods to himself as he thinks, "Step 1, completed….Trust Gained."
