58 Reversal

Shenlong Weilan turns his head to look at the newcomer. His neck almost cracks as he hears the impossible. The person who just arrived respectfully goes on one knee and looks down.

"Young Master…this lowly dragon has received news that Zones 19 and 20 are both empty…As soon as we received this new, we tried to make contact with the forces stationed there and all their sect tokens have completely disappeared as if destroyed…this lowly one believes…"

The person reporting dares not finish his sentence. Everyone stares at Shenlong Weilan's reaction. Surprisingly, his previously shocked appearance is quickly replaced by one of tranquility.

"Based on the words of the last remaining person, this cultivator who managed to capture everyone has not killed them. This person would prefer to negotiate than directly take her. This means this cultivator is weaker than the experts within our sect and doesn't dare to even attack here. Therefore, he should be in the Immortal Step. Either he is an Immortal Lord with some talent or is an Immortal King."

Many nod in approval as Shenlong Weilan analyses the situation. "Issue the order, tell Immortal King Li to handle this matter." Shenlong Weilan's eyes flash with coldness for an extremely brief moment. The messenger pays his respects and quickly leaves.

A few servants remove the corpse of the dragon who brought back Hei's message and the blood is quickly cleaned. "Nothing to worry about Yinghua…Whoever it is, I am sure they will be dealt with by Immortal King Li. Everyone, please continue to eat and enjoy this day of celebration." He smiles as he takes another sip of wine.

In Zone 32, Hei sits calmly and looks in his dimension. "Have you all made a decision as yet?" Hei's voice filled with playfulness can be heard echoing within his dimension. Over 2000 dragons can be seen together, looking around cautiously, their weapons in hand as they maintain their peak energy.

One of the dragons sighs as he seems to make the most difficult decision. He actually puts his weapon back into his spatial ring and takes off his armor. Throwing it in his ring, he then places this ring on the ground. "I have a wife and children…Young Master Tianxiong, spare me."

Many people stare at this person with looks that could kill. Their scorn filled eyes and obvious expressions of disgust clearly show their hatred for this cowardly action. However, a few ends up following this dragon. Very soon, like a domino effect, the wavering hearts slowly start to crumble as they surrender.

One of the more honest and kindhearted dragons actually begins crying as he tosses his ring down. "I am only here to provide for my family and our cultivation needs. I rather live and join another sect than die for someone! I can't let them down. We should just surrender…at least we were given another shot at life!"

"Did you all forget what he did? We are not his match and this place is weird…We cannot contact the sect…we cannot contact anyone. We cannot escape. Instead of dying for nothing, we can always live another day." Being reminded of what occurred in less than an hour really terrified them.

These bad memories seem to return like a good husband to his wife. In the memories of the people originally stationed at Zone 20, Hei appeared and killed a normal cultivator in the Essence Gathering Step. He then expanded and forced everyone to run away. Hoping to get reinforcements from everyone in Zone 19, they actually headed there, running nonstop in the process.

By this time, the people stationed in Zone 19 felt small tremors which slowly increased in strength. Then from the distance, a gigantic towering black bear with 2 pairs of demonic horns shaped like a crown on his head is casually walking towards their zone.

Furthermore, they constantly get requests from their fellow sect members who seem to be running away from this monster. Due to thinking that with their combined efforts, they would be able to defeat this bear, they transformed their bodies and met up with the people from Zone 20.

However, they were sadly mistaken. The towering monster of a bear which releases an energy signature related to Beasts, Colossans and Demons actually allowed its already gigantic shadow to spread over the area they were located and simply dragged in most persons. Everyone below the Immortal Step was easily dragged into this dimension of darkness.

Then as if the monster wanted them to experience despair, the remaining Immortals were all slaughtered using its gigantic claws. The force generated from such a terrifying massive being and the law energies which it used made it so that the persons they were depending on had no chances of survival.

As if a Black Bear of Repression fused with a Demonic Emperor who rules over his many legions and a Colossan who towers over the heavens because it simply wants to fight and crush the heavens themselves, this monster amalgamation actually crushed their Immortal Step cultivators without mercy.

While they possessed strong draconic bodies and even transformed, the sheer power from the bear was simply overwhelming. What was even worse is that the bear took out an oddly shaped weapon. It was a black brick! It then transformed into a pair gauntlets and with that, it secured victory.

Only a single person was allowed to leave and this person was directly taken from the dimension. Given a horrible message and a direct threat, the dragon was forced to beat itself silly. The bear said he wouldn't look genuine if a soldier in perfect condition was sent back but it was too lazy to actually injure the lowly dragon itself.

This bear seems to be a complete sadist! Just remembering all this has cold chills running up their spines. The previously holding out sect personnel eventually give in and willingly or unwillingly give up their rings in a bid for survival.

Hei nods as the rings are slowly gathered in one spot. His body can be seen in the dimension. This time, he is actually in a more human form. His usual human form can be seen except for the 2 pairs of horns sitting on his head like a crown.

He smiles casually as he stares at the crowd. Darkness slowly engulfs the spatial rings and transports them behind him. Many persons stare in curiosity and suspicion. "Could this little kid be…" "No way…it couldn't be…" Many persons mutter as they rub their eyes. Hei laughs a bit as he clears the air for them.

"Indeed, I am just a child, merely 7 years old. I just have an overly developed brain due to my astral spirits. Speaking of astral spirits, Shu, sacrifice them all. Make them into nutrients for the farm." Many looks of despair and dread can be seen on the faces of the dragons.

They cry as they beg to be spared. A few are actually angry as they charge at Hei in rage, feeling played like idiots. However, they find that no matter how they run, the distance between them and Hei seems to not increase at all. Many females who were apart of the captured already started kneeling as they promise to give Hei anything he wishes as long as they are allowed to live.

Hei smiles calmly as he says it once more, "Shu, use them as nutrients for the farm." Upon saying those words once more, many cries of pain can be heard as hundreds of roots suddenly stab through the ground and impale many of the dragons. "Yes Master, it shall be done!"

Very quickly, the bodies of every single dragon are impaled by a multitude of roots as they are slowly drained. They struggle as much as they can, transforming their bodies into their beast forms.

However, more roots simply impale them as they are drained of everything. All their blood, energy and even their fleshy body and dantians are converted into nutrients by Shu and channeled into the garden.

Many of the plants actually seem to sway in excitement as they are fed. The sleeping beasts in the garden actually twitch in pleasure as fresh energy is channeled into their bodies. Hei doesn't even flinch for the slightest as the lives of a little over 2000 persons wither away into mere nutrients for his farm.

Sitting on his black throne, Hei waves his hand as multiple rings float in front of him. He releases the contents of them and scans over them quickly. After confirming nothing of importance to him, he simply puts the contents to the side. Pills, weapons or technique scrolls and astral stones of this level are of no use to him.

However, Hei still decided to check in case of finding anything special. Even the money itself wasn't really useful in his eyes. What disappoints him though is that after searching so many rings, nothing noteworthy was found.

Gathering a few of the better of the contents, Hei finds 6 of the better rings and places some resources and money in the rings. Instead of giving any weapons or artifacts which could be sold, Hei only places actual money and resources to be used directly within the rings. A few scrolls related to the elements were casually thrown in as well.

After this, Hei packs all the other spoils of war into multiple rings and leave them there. Pocketing the 6 rings, Hei exits his dimension and stretches as he looks to the dark skies. He sits in meditation as he continues to try and comprehend his 3 source powers.

A little over a week has passed and but the dragons have not returned. Hei doesn't pay much attention to this and continues to meditate as he learns more about the 3 source powers within his body. At times, his body changes to one of a Beast, then Colossan and then Demon. At times, 2 of the 3 are fused or all 3.

His figure changes spontaneously as his energy's reflects these transformations. On the second week, Hei begins to wonder what could have happened to the 6 dragons. He contemplates if it is possible that they actually got killed due to their weapons and armor.

Almost 3 weeks later, Hei senses the energy of Gao, the squad captain. What makes him ponder though is the fact that only Gao came this time and his energy levels seem quite weak. Hei quickly changes his form into the black bear as he awaits his arrival.

When Hei finally sees his appearance, Hei remains calm but on the inside, he comments, "Something major happened I see." Gao finally reaches a distance of 2 meters and collapses on his knees with his head down. "Young Master…we have failed you…" His weak voice is barely able to hide the sadness and shame within his heart.

Hei remains silent for a bit before slowly replying, "Something happened…explain." Gao's tears slowly fall onto the slightly moist, dark clay like ground. Hei notices that his armor is actually broken in multiple places and his body is riddled with multiple wounds which seem quite familiar to Hei. These wounds and broken armor spots seem awfully familiar to the way the messenger dragon he sent to the Young Bastard looked!

Hei figures more or less what happened from Gao's appearance and his emotions. "Young Master…We failed you miserably. Not only did we not get any more information for you, we brought you unnecessary trouble."

"Nine Signs Diviner…Colossan Feng Jiu…It was him. The Patriarch asked Feng Jiu to divine the future for his son…He answered that all he saw was Young Bastard being devoured by the darkness…darkness never before seen. Furthermore, his downfall is due to dragons in black armor that were once nothing but became something…"

"Immediately, an order was issued for everyone with black armor to report in. We felt this was suspicious and didn't want to go. We were just about to leave when our commander who tried to kill us forced us to report in."

"With just that, we were captured….our minds searched. It was at this moment we found out what happened…They said that Young Master is only has the strength of around Immortal King at most and is just boasting about his clan's power! Please Young Master…save my brothers…I beg…I will sacrifice my life to you, do anything you ask…please, just save them."

Hei listens carefully to Gao's words and asks, "Save them? What exactly happened to them?" Gao's trembling voice barely manages to say the words, "Many things", before his wailing actually increases as the tears fully come forth like a raging waterfall.

Hei silently looks at this dragons, this male who when faced with death did not utter a whimper. He observes this Gao who when faced with death, decided to go out without looking weak. He analyzes this Gao who actually wanted to just live free and comfortable as he cultivates cry like a child in pain.

While his facial expression doesn't seem to change, on the inside, a mixture of emotions can be felt like Hei; the main one being rage!
