43 New Realm

Hei casually gives an excuse without explaining much, using the 'Secret Rule'. Everyone knows that as cultivators, persons will always have their secrets which are never told. These secrets, not even their lovers, closest friends or family will be told.

Sometimes this is done out of being secretive or sometimes the secrets are just too profound for one to hear. At other times, it can simply be something too dangerous to all persons knowing this secret. But whatever, Hei managed to give a crappy excuse to silence them for a bit.

Many persons feel quite disappointed in this answer as they ponder this kind of secret Hei must be holding. However, many of the members of the Beast Constellation Clan begin thinking on a deeper level. Some of the persons here were already made aware that Hei is from some sort of 'Ancient Clan'.

Senior Brother Lee realized this and tacitly agrees as he doesn't pursue the issue anymore. Instead, he changes the topic completely and mysteriously smiles. Upon seeing this smile, many females suddenly have hearts in their eyes as they look on him.

As if anticipating what will happen next, they all squeal excitedly. Their previously tired faces seem to be filled with vibrancy as they quickly run off. Many of them can be heard uttering words like, "Senior Brother is gonna cook! I must go take a bath to look and smell fresh!" "Senior is cooking today, I have to be perfect."

Many of the males of the sect simply stand there with a look of anger and slight defeat. They slowly walk off without even glancing at the expert Xing Wuya. Her presence was completely disregarded. Only the persons from her clan who were newly brought here stand in confusion.

Senior Brother Lee announces, "Yin-Yang Dragon Marrow Stew for everyone! Barbequed Dragon with a spicy wine dip for everyone! Hahahahaha!" He quickly launches his movement technique as he apparently prepares to cook.

Wuya disregards these strange actions of the Nameless Sect Members. She looks on all of her clan members who seem fine for the most part. Just as she is about to ask a question, Hei suddenly says something to break the silence.

"I have a question. Why is it that the Nameless Sect has a female Patriarch and not Matriarch?" Wuya looks on Hei with a slightly curious expression as if she is wondering why he would ask such a question. "I do not know, ask her yourself when you see her again."

Hei nods without much care and walks off casually. She looks on Hei departing and mysteriously says, "Not interested for my debriefing? It relates to the various rewards. Battle Points are involved." Not surprisingly, Hei doesn't bat an eye as he continues to walk away.

Long Shenyuan is just about to follow when Wuya snappily shouts, "Where are you going kid? Because one brat leaves, that means everyone else will follow suit?" Shenyuan looks at her and is about to dish out a lengthy cursing when he sees her figure.

Lust flashes in his eyes as he stares at her twin melons on her chest. In his mind, he thinks, "Fuck this dragon of antiquity's weakness….Women are my downfall in the future…Fuck…" As they are being debriefed and ask for their reports, Hei casually wonders the grounds of the Nameless Sect.

The more he walks; the discomfort from the scenery slowly creeps into his mind. "This place…why is there so much white? Ugh, I hate it here…" He continues to walk as he curses the sect leader in his mind. "Damn nameless woman, you couldn't use a different image? Because the place is nameless, you went for white? It's horrible here…"

"Don't tell me she only wears white everything…Ugh, I hate white…Only one kind of white is slightly pleasant in my eyes…" Hei looks to the sky as he sighs a bit. "Are you 2 alright? Our fates are quite messed up. I'm not even there to help you 2 get better astral spirits. I could make your future much better than what the clan can give you 2 right now."

Hei silently laments as he continues to walk. However, from the corner of his eyes, he notices a slight change in colors ahead. This gives him a bit of hope as he looks forward. What he sees makes him nod in appreciation. "Finally, something different from stupid white."

Hei notices a building which seems quite ordinary with a simple garden at the front. Flowers of all kinds are on both sides, while they are not anything expensive; they are at the peak of their normal lives. A smooth stone pathway leads to the simple looking house which is painted in sapphire with slight undertones of blue.

"It's not black but I will accept the change compared to stupid white." Without hesitation, Hei walks right into the house. Surprisingly, the door is left open. Nodding to himself, Hei feels a bit better. He looks inside the house and notice that the decorations are quite simple, nothing special can be seen.

He walks through the simple living room and finds a comfortable looking room. This room is actually filled with sapphire candles which aren't lit. The bed is decorated with soft sapphire sheets and the table on the side of the bed has a cute blue stuffed animal resembling a blue tiger.

Hei looks to the side and notices a bathroom. He tiredly walks in and takes a bath. Changing into fresh clothes, he walks into the bed and lies down without much care. "It's been awhile since I've had a good rest. All that fighting drained my energy quite a bit. Once I awaken, I'll go see what is happening in this damn sect of white."

Hei closes his eyes and falls asleep like the little kid he is. After a few hours of sleeping, he awakens in his dimension. He stretches as he realizes that his energy levels have increased. Furthermore, his physical body feels like it is at a peak.

"It seems I have created an excellent foundation to enter the next cultivation realm. However, I will postpone that for now. What I want to do practice something I thought of." With that thought in mind, Hei slowly takes out his brick.

"I saw and understood the general principles behind that Colossan female's creation of astral gates using astral inscriptions. It is simple to implement, however the energy drain will be significant. Furthermore, the longer the distance between both points, the more energy will be required."

Hei slowly forms astral inscriptions in his hands while he simultaneously transforms the brick into a sword. Cutting the space in his dimension, Hei then channels the astral inscriptions into the cut in space. A little over 10 meters away, an astral gate is opened.

Hei pushes his sword through and the tip of the blade can be seen coming from the other end of the gate. "Hmm, this could possibly be useful in battle. Instead of using my weapon to rip apart space dramatically, what if I modified the inscriptions to create an astral gate around the tip of the weapon to channel the attack through space?"

"With that, the attack will be fully delivered without the hindrance of space. Hmmm, I will have to work on this. Maybe I should train with this without thinking much about increasing my cultivation level. That should increase my battle power faster while continuously using up my energy to slowly gain more control over it."

Hei calmly begins thrusting his sword while simultaneously creating astral inscriptions to fuse with the rift from the weapon. He uses one hand each for both actions. Like this Hei repeatedly thrusts until his entire body is extremely tired. He then goes back to sleep and as soon as he awakens and is fully replenished, he continues his practice, slowly getting to make these actions more natural.

Every week that Hei practices for, he would stop for a small break and actually cultivate. As even though he knows that increasing his battle power is necessary, lagging behind in cultivation will limit how much energy he can release safely. Furthermore, the next realm which he is stepping into is quite important. This realm is the second part of the Foundation Step.

First Body Refinement Realm; after which is the Blood Refinement Realm. This realm focuses on refining the 'blood' of a cultivator. The blood is not just the physical liquid pumped through the body but includes one's physique and bloodline power. The Earth Dantian plays an important part in this step.

The physical blood will be completely infused with the bloodline(s) and or physique of the cultivator. One must use their Earth Essence to completely refine their blood itself to actually pass through this realm. After the first 4 months of training while mostly training and barely cultivating, Hei actually manages to slowly enter the peak of the first stage.

This stage allows a cultivator to freely draw upon the power of their bloodline(s) and or physique without adverse effects. This pleases Hei as he notes that every time he fights, he is left in a state of extreme exhaustion due to the burden his body faces whenever he manifests his full power.

Furthermore, due to the purity and strength of both his bloodline and physique, this is even more important for him. After 3 more months of training while cultivating in between, Hei slowly arrives at the peak of the second stage. At this point, the physical blood is thickened due to the saturation of bloodline and physique power within the cultivator.

A normal person would possess blood as thick as mercury upon finishing this step. A supreme talent would possess blood as thick as molten gold! However, what surprises Hei is that his blood is actually not as thick as molten gold. For some reason, it is not even close to being that thick.

Instead, it's actually as thick as tar itself. This surprises Hei as he notices that his heart isn't actually having the slightest of issues to pump his blood. However, for safety reasons, Hei observes his body as he trains.

In another 3 months, Hei finally reaches the peak of the last stage of Blood Refinement. The information Shu gives him however makes him frown for a bit and then shrugs. "Master, good work…now if you want to pass on your bloodline, you are able to. Even a portion of your physique can be inherited. Your blood is completely saturated with the energy of your bloodline and physique."

Hei still remembers those words as he shivers a bit. He shakes his head as he comments on the matter, "Like I'd want to bring a monster into this world." By this time, Hei has finally worked out how to use the astral inscriptions from the weapon itself to not only rip through space but to also form the inscriptions used for transporting the weapon and attack.

Feeling impressed at his work, he nods. "I shall call this Transference. With that, Hei returns to the room he was in before. Opening his eyes, Hei stretches. "I've been like this for months…I'm 7 now but I didn't even realize my birthday passed until a few days ago." Hei once again takes a bath and gets dressed.

However, when he exits the bathroom and sits on the bed, he notices something very strange in the room. Not only is there not a single speck of dust but the sheets have been changed and the same for the curtains.

What is more interesting is that the stuffed animal was right beside him on the bed! Hei looks around suspiciously and notices that the candles which he never lit were in fact burning. A pleasant fragrance of Sapphire Grapes permeates the room but none of this is appreciated by Hei.

"What the hell happened here? Someone was in my room! How dare someone invade my privacy?" Hei's various astral spirits simply look on him as they shake their heads.

Hei calmly looks on himself and notice she has grown taller and even his hair has increased in length. He physically checks other areas and nods in satisfaction. His previously childish face has gotten a bit more mature as he seems to have developed a bit more muscle.

"Hmmm, my gracefulness is increasing by the day. I should celebrate by going outside and darkening some houses for the poor, unlucky souls."
