13 New Beginning

With those final words, Hei completely disappears from the place he grew up for the past 6 years. With that, he has actually left humanity's Heavenly Astral Human Great World, the great world that has the highest population of humans and even more so, the place with some of the strongest humans.

He remembers the map he received and the place he chose is actually the Saint Beast Great World.

A very large forest filled with extremely green and lush plant life, towering trees and with leaves bigger than the human body can be seen in Hei's eyes.

The slight light from the sun that peeks through the tree leaves look like beams of light as they appear all around. The fresh smell of pure and seemingly untouched forestry gives Hei a feeling of serenity he never felt before. He nods as he looks around as he thinks if this option was a good one.

Upon thinking of the various names he saw, an interesting thought comes to mind.

"For some strange reason, humanity has some really long and drawn out names. Why couldn't the so called human clans simply be called Liu Clan or Zhu Clan? Instead, some long and drawn out crappy names are used. Who made them?"

"What kind of name for a great world is 'Heavenly Astral Human'? What about simply calling it 'Human'? Then, everyone would simply refer to it as Human Great World. I bet it was some random fool who does nothing all day but make crappy things up thought of such horrible names. Whatever happens, I will be sure as to not make my techniques have such long and drawn out crap."

Hei looks around on the flowers and sniffs the air. A slight feeling of overwhelm washes over him as he nods.

"This is nice…I actually hate it. I prefer a much darker and gloomy area. It wouldn't be bad if ghouls and tortured souls are there. Since I am in a land of beast though, won't I need to conceal my aura? Furthermore, won't persons come to investigate this random teleportation in their territory?"

"Master, do not worry, leave that to your own physique." Mao's voice echoes out to him with a faint sense of 'happiness'. "What do you mean Mao?"

"Hehehe, Master will soon know why." A slightly strange laugh escapes Mao's mouth as it sits and wiggles its tail. This makes Hei to look on it with a bit of suspicion but he ends up shrugging it off.

As he is about to take a step, a loud boom goes off into the air followed by the sound of a single voice that shouts so loud that all the trees shake and many leaves begin raining.

"Who goes there!?" This dominating and extremely vigorous voice shakes Hei down to his very core. A trickle of blood actually comes out of his mouth and he barely manages to not cough out a mouthful.

A single breath after the shout is made; many terrifying auras belonging to experts appear 100 meters out in front of Hei, looking on him with cold gazes, their weapons already in their hands as they stare at him.

"Kid! Who was the one who teleported here?! Where is the human intruder!? Speak now or face persecution!" One of the many experts with a domineering voice and attitude shouts furiously at Hei without the slightest of kindness a senior would give a junior.

Hei stares at the experts who all are wearing the same kind of clothing, green uniforms that are all loosely fitting with a symbol at their heart which seems to be of a sword.

This sword symbol radiates a fearsome sharpness and bestial energy just by looking on it. They all wear green hats on their heads which makes Hei have a really weird look on his face.

"Speak up or else…" The male in front now has a cold expression as he glares daggers at Hei.

Hei quickly replies, "I don't know senior, I was just wondering around and I saw a masked person appear. He was wearing…White! Yes, White! It's definitely a man because I heard his voice when he said, "Bye kid" then disappeared."

The already pissed expert stares at Hei, half believing and half suspecting. "Which human sect are you from then!?" With those words, Hei has a very puzzled look on his face but is not sure what to say. He thinks to himself, "Human sect…damn it, they know! Oh crap!"

The cold faced man suddenly laughs and appears in front of Hei as he ruffles his hair. "Hehehe, don't worry about the question kiddo, I was only pulling your legs. I know you're a beast and obviously didn't go through the star gate to get here. Which sect or family are you from? You look like you have good talent and your clothing and entire demeanor seems quite regal."

Hei stares at the man in shock. "I am a beast!?" The man laughs a bit as he thinks the child in front of him is quite funny. "Then what did you think you were? It couldn't be that you thought you were a human? Seems you had some memory loss or you're just that crazy. Do you remember who you are or who your parents are?"

A small and dark glint that cannot be seen appears in Hei's eyes as a bit of craft seeps into his mind. "Ow ow ow, my head hurts…" My name is…Hei..ugh…My last name…I can't remember…Where am I? Who..am I?"

The expert laughs a bit. "As I expected; you're probably the bastard child of some extremely rich and powerful aristocrat. You were probably wiped of your memories and abandoned in this forest. This forest is quite famous for that and is called 'Forest of Mistakes'. The father probably cannot keep you so you got booted to here."

"What do you guys think? I am feeling kind. Should we change is fate or nah?" The other males who are dressed similarly all look on Hei with scrutiny.

They simultaneously rub their chins in contemplation. A similar look appears on their faces as they shake their heads in disagreement. "Aww, sorry kid, I was thinking of helping you out but nah, the guys aren't up for it. See you around."

Hei doesn't say a word and simply turns around and walks off randomly. The experts all look on Hei's back as a slightly shocked expression is seen on their faces. They all nod and smile with a playful look on their faces. "Hey kiddo, I was only joking, don't get all sad and walk off."

In his mind however, he laughs a bit, "This kid is interesting. He never felt sad or looked pitiful when we pretended to not help him. I like his aura too. Hehehe, I wonder if we can randomly pick up a jewel or will he just be averaged?"

Hei stops and looks back with a slight look of curiosity. "Huh? Senior wants to help me? I see…thanks…I guess."

"Wow, you sure know how to show your sincerity. You almost look as if I am bothering you. Tsk tsk, do you know how many persons would like to join my Beast Sword Sect? Just the thought of cultivating our supreme art would make many persons grovel at our gates every single day in hope that we will spare them a glance and give them the chance to become tertiary disciples."

Hei nods in understanding and with a bland tone, he expresses his thanks.

"I thank the seniors for their kind gesture. I will remember your faces and repay you all in the future." Hei actually stands there and looks on their faces one by one while he nods every time he stares at a person, as if he has imprinted their faces. This act causes them to slightly laugh at this junior.

"Since you have no last name and your parents probably hoped for it to be like that, I will give you a new last name. Don't expect it to be Jian though since that is the last name of the upper echelons."

A look of respect and awe can be seen on his face as he says 'Jian'. "What do you guys think he should name? I was thinking of Lu Hei or is that last name too overused?" They all shake their heads, in disagreement to that name. One of them suggests, "How about Xiao Hei? Or Heaven Black too weird since the heavens and 'black' don't seem to work well."

They contemplate a bit as they all shake their heads in disagreement. In Hei's mind, "Really, are these actual experts or…they seem a bit too relaxed. They didn't even bother chasing after the person I described."

"Could it be that they really think that the person I described is actually the one who allegedly dropped me off and wiped my memories? Damn, these Beasts really aren't as highly suspicious as humans…If it was a human, chances are, they would try to search my soul in a self-righteous manner."

One of them nods, "I got it! How about Liu Hei? I mean, Kill Black sounds kinda cool. Maybe he can grow up into some kind of assassin. He is kind of bland already with how he reacts."

They begin thinking as the look on each other. Faces of thinking deeply can be seen as if they are making a very important decision that dictates the lives of billions. They then slowly nod, "Genius my good brother! Liu Hei it shall be!"

Hei scratches his head as he nods in 'acceptance'. "Wow, they gave me back the same name. Don't they care about the Liu Heavenly Astral Clan? It seems they aren't all that serious about it."

"Kiddo Liu Hei, brace yourself, a might sect shall be in your sights." The expert simply lifts his hand and bestial energy gently surrounds and carries Hei into the air.

They all speed off to the skies, shaking the entire area with their outburst of energy. As Hei flies off, he looks down below and is only able to see a faint blur. This makes him a bit dizzy so he closes his eyes.

A few moments later, "We are here, you can look forward." Hei opens his eyes and looks forward. Magnificent green buildings with silver linings can be seen far as far as his eyes can see. Never in his life has he seen such beautifully crafted buildings which all radiate extremely powerful and potent sword energy. Various buildings like these are seen with the ones closest being the smallest.

The further out he looks, the taller and more magnificent they seem to be. The spaces between them increase as well. This is apparently so for as far as his eyes can see. They slowly land in the area that has the most buildings and rests him down on the ground.

"This is the area for the Tertiary Disciples. While that is the lowest status for a disciple, it's still good since you have entered the sect. I will have someone settle you in so don't worry about it."

"You don't have to act all respectful or happy that we helped you. Just make sure to cultivate until you can possibly move up to Secondary Disciple. Then finally, if you're lucky and determined, you could possibly become a Primary Disciple. With that, you can slowly uncover the truths of your lineage or don't give a crap since if you can reach that far, then where you are from simply tossed out a gem."

"I am sure someone sensed that we landed here and will come check on you. Just tell them that you were brought inside to become a disciple. Cultivate well, make sure our efforts aren't wasted."

With these words of encouragement, the men all disappear quickly. Hei looks around on the weird sword buildings that actually look like true swords with the silver and sharp edges.

The entire atmosphere feels like pure sword energy lingering everywhere. Even the simple grass on the ground radiates strong sword energy.

"Wow, I got drafted for a clan as soon as I arrive here. I guess this is a New Beginning."
