33 Madness Dao

Hei laughs to himself a bit as he continues to send the new Heavenly and Earth Essence with Nature Essence to his Mortal Dantian. Not only does he send it there, he actually quickly begins forming it into Mortal Essence then astral inscriptions. When he finishes, he begins resting again to once again start the entire process over.

After 4 hours, Hei's Mortal Dantian is actually filled to the brim with Astral Inscriptions! These inscriptions slowly rotate and switch places with each other as if interacting. The astral spirits in Hei's dimension all breathe a sigh of relief as they observe this new discovery by their master.

With a voice of anxiousness and curiosity, Shu says, "Master…how are you feeling? Those inscriptions…it seems they have corrected your problem but…" Hei laughs a bit and replies, "I feel great actually. Based on analysis, the inscriptions due to being compressed and formed into something specific, actually take up less space than just regular Mortal Essence."

"I already plan on using this kind of law energy so I might as well cultivate with this new found Umbra Thunder-Fire law energy transformed from the Mortal Essence in my dantian. Normal law energy would come from either one of the 3 types of astral essence but…I seem to have stumbled upon something! I shall call it Mortal Law Essence!"

Shu's leaves gently sway as if tacitly accepting Hei's words. However, he actually says to Ren, "Will these inscriptions prove to be fatal in the future?" Ren shakes his head as he replies, "With Master's creation of a new law all together, anything is now possible with this law. Astral Inscriptions are the symbols representing the heavens…thus…he should be safe."

"I am correct…due to the fact that this law was created by Master, the mere fact that he formed the inscriptions in his own dantian, the inscriptions will not conflict with his entire being. This is especially so since he was baptized by the same law energy from the heavens. Is like putting spring water from one spring into another. Essentially, they are both springs…"

Both Shu and Ren ponder about this new found situation which Hei has accidentally made for himself. Hei however doesn't think too much about it. Instead, he actually rests his mind for a bit as he prepares himself to begin refining his body. After 15 minutes, he actually opens his eyes.

"It's time…Refinement of the body…begin!" Hei slowly galvanizes a single Astral Inscription in his dantian to channel its energy into the skin covering his right hand. Very quickly, a tingling sensation can be felt which quite soothingly passes through his hand.

For some reason, the previous law runes from his baptism by the heavens quickly absorb the energy and seem to quickly strengthen his skin! Furthermore, the energy continues to stimulate other runs in the right hand locate in his flesh, muscles, meridians and bones!

Hei almost hops off the ground in shock. "What the hell!? My law energy just channeled energy to not just my skin! Shu! This cultivation realm you spoke about is not working as you said it would!" Hei actually feels the soothing right throughout his hand, even in the depths of his bone. Even the meridians in his right hand are slightly refined. His right hand feels superior in every way compared to the rest of his body.

"Master…You…The law runes…they had a reaction with your Mortal Law Essence…It somehow automatically just absorbed and refined your body…." Hei looks on his hand and is actually dumfounded. "If this is the case…how about this!?" Hei actually begins galvanizing the energy from all the inscriptions in his Mortal Dantian to channel energy in his body.

The law runes all over his very being begin greedily absorbing the energy and quickly being refining his body. Complete harmony between the Mortal Law Essence and Umbra Thunder-Fire Law Runes can be seen clearly as not even the slightest of mishap happens. A refreshing and soothing feeling washes Hei's entire body as he almost goes limp in bliss.

The astral spirits all observe Hei whose body actually seems to be covered in Umbra Thunder-Fire Law Energy. This law energy gently flutters around Hei's body. If someone were to carefully sense Hei's body, it seems he is in the Body Refinement Realm but at the same time, he is not! This state of constant refinement happens for an hour before almost all the Mortal Law Essence is used up.

The previous saturation of energy from the heavenly baptism along with his new energy is actually combined and used to completely refine Hei's body. He gets up off the ground and stands on his 2 feet. Gently gripping his fist, a completely different feeling runs through his body.

For some reason, he gets a sense of actual strength. He feels light and energized. Around his body, a faint pressure can be felt radiating from him. This pressure seems to stem from not only his 'realm' but also from the laws of infused into his very being.

Upon looking on Hei's 6 year old frame that appears slightly underfed, no sort of strength can be seen. However, hidden within his body is a physical strength which definitely surpasses all others in his realm! Shu actually exclaims, "Master! Your cultivation realm! You actually refined your entire body in one go! This is unreal…"

While looking a bit excited, Hei isn't actually smug about it. "I was just lucky…besides, if I wasn't a mad kid, this would never have happened." Shu's leaves shake slightly as he utters, "Madness is a dao too I suppose…"

Hei laughs a bit as he casually replies, "If that's the case, I have plenty of mad ideas to try out. Must be my dao indeed…" The astral spirits in his dimension actually gulp upon hearing those words. A sense of crisis and worry can be felt right throughout when they think of the possible mishaps which could happen.

"With this new development of things, I don't think the exact same method for techniques will work…My Mortal Dantian isn't completely empty…surprisingly…the inscriptions didn't dissipate. They just seem to be lacking in energy…"

Without meditating, Hei slowly wait on his Heaven and Earth Dantians to be filled. After being filled, he attracts more energy and sends it to his Mortal Dantian. Shockingly, the inscriptions actually absorb the energy without waiting on it to combine and automatically convert it. Thus, the step of forming Mortal Essence is actually skipped!

Hei nods in appreciation as he thinks about the 3 demonic movement animals. Instead of focusing on where the energy comes from, he actually observes the manner in which they move through the different environments.

Not only that, he observes the way in which the energy is channeled to create different kinds of movement. He slowly begins channeling his energy from the inscriptions to his body as he tries to run. As he moves in a sudden burst, Hei continues to adjust the energy to not only match his physical body but to recreate the way in which one would 'run on land'.

After a few attempts, he easily does it! "Alright…seems I'm not too dumb…That was easier than I thought it would…Let's try the sky…wait…I cannot fly just like that…" Hei looks on the sky as he ponders to himself, "Flying without wings can be done with cultivation…if I create wings…then I could easily fly and mimic the movements…I wonder…"

Instead of simply channeling the energy into his feet, Hei actually creates 2 pitch black wings from the law energy found in his dantian. These wings radiate a gentle darkness that flutters and crackles. The wings actually resemble that of a great roc! These wings gently flap as Hei mimics the movements of the hawk. After a few attempts, surprisingly, Hei is launched off quickly at an extremely abnormal speed!

With a few moments of adjusting himself, he notices that he is able to actually fly relatively well at extreme speeds. Instead of landing on the ground, Hei actually dives straight into the water. A large splash is heard and the previous wings on his body disappear without a trace. They are replaced instead with a faint dark glow coating his body.

As he moves through the water, he constantly adjusts the way the energy circulates around his body to pass through easier. After a few tries, once again, not surprising at all, Hei easily moves extremely quickly through the water.

He exits and goes on land once more as he stops and thinks to himself, "I don't think I am some heavenly genius among geniuses…if I'm not wrong…using this law energy of mines seems to make things easier for me."

"What is even more spectacular is that due to the fact that I made it, the harmony I have with it is more than I can imagine! Furthermore, upon completing all 3, I noticed that in truth, the way of moving on all 3 types of terrain is not about the terrain itself but the attributes of the atmosphere I could be fighting at…so the same principles can be applied in different areas. "

"Though I do think it can be improved…speed alone doesn't seem sufficient." Hei once again forms the wings on his back as he looks to the sky. He gently flaps them and moves to the sky. He stops in the air and calmly stays there as he feels the flaps of the wings. "The law energy is just being used to increase my speed…what if I used this law energy to let say…also affect space!?"

With that thought in mind, Hei releases a bit of law energy from the wings as he flies. He notices that when he actually releases just a small amount, the area around the wings seem to slightly burn and tear. Furthermore, the very space seems to be swallowed as his speed is tripled!

Hei's eyes almost pops from his head as he realizes the difference in speed when he slightly affects space. He tries the same thing on land…gently releasing the law energy around his body. Again, his speed is easily tripled! Using the same logic, Hei tests it in water and the exact outcome happens.

With a look of shock and excitement, Hei actually begins laughs like a mad man. "I was right! I'll call this movement technique Dance of Darkness. I shall gracefully dance through all obstacles and slay all my enemies before they can react!"

"But wait…if my speed can be increased this way, wouldn't that mean my attacks will be able to possibly travel through space!? I have to make a technique right now…" Hei stands on the ground and looks forward as he visualizes. "What would be the technique I would want to make? Hmm…I do remember forming weapons from raw energy…I wonder…"

Opening his palm, Hei releases a bit of energy from his dantian and slowly shapes it into a hammer. This hammer is actually formed from pure Umbra Thunder-Fire energy. While it doesn't seem like an actual physical object and is just energy, a sense of heaviness can be easily felt.

Remember the words of the technique spirit; Hei thinks and slowly forms a spear in his other hand. He looks on both weapons and senses the difference in their very nature. "The spear is fundamentally different from the hammer…but, what if I added characteristics of the spear on the hammer?"

Hei looks on the handle of the hammer and slowly modifies it. He increases the length of the hammer! Then, he actually forms spikes on the top of the hammer. He begins swinging the hammer around like a spear and actually jabbing with it!

He then looks on the spear and adds some characteristics of the hammer on it. He shortens the spear shaft and increases the weight exponentially. He swings the spear similarly to a hammer and still jabs with it. A terrifying physical force is swept everywhere from the raw power behind his attacks.

Hei laughs to himself as a bit of madness can be seen in his eyes. "I understand what I should do now! I don't have to use a single weapon…I can use them all! Hehehe…bastard dragon…I'll let you face my Deception Weapon Art! Yes…that's a good name…Hehehe…Madness really is a dao and it's definitely the one I shall follow!"
