21 Is This Enough?

"It seems you have realized how important the constellations above are. They are the foundations of our entire clan. While we are a clan, we still operate similarly to a sect. Furthermore, persons may marry into the clan or simply be allied to us."

"With how high ranked your clan should be, I assume you will not marry into the clan and change your last name. Unless your clan arrives here with a force of serious power, you won't be able to have anyone in our clan marry into yours. Hehehe, that is unless you surpass the most powerful expert in the entire clan."

Xing Wuya laughs a bit as her words echo in the ears of Hei. For some reason, he gets the feeling that hidden motifs are actually within her 'explanations'.

Hei thinks for a bit before slowly replying, "I am not that interested in marrying. I am more curious about exploring and cultivating." She nods faintly, "Fine by me…Follow me and I will personally give you a suitable place to live. What kind of home would you prefer?"

Hei laughs faintly, "The darkest place in the entire clan will be fine." Xing Wuya frowns as she thinks to herself, "Is this kid for real? Look on how well lit and bright our entire clan is? How do you expect us to have a dark area? While it's always night, the constellations still keep the entire clan well lit. Hmmm, the only place I can think of that might suit him…Hehehe, this will be interesting!"

Possessing a smile that doesn't seem like a smile, she nods in agreement. "Follow me then." She flies off as her servants follow behind quite closely. Hei pats Mao on his head which makes him speed off behind them. After flying for a few minutes, the servants all reveal a face filled with fear and wariness. One of them gently says with fear apparent in his eyes, "This…servant would like to voice an opinion…if possible."

Wuya nods as her smile increases. "If this servant isn't mistaken…the place you are taking him should be the…Dark Lands?"

Wuya nods once again as she faintly replies, "He asked for a place that is dark. It's not like I wish him bad luck. He will leave after a while and stay somewhere normal." Hei listens patiently without interrupting as he ponders to himself.

"You're probably wondering what the Dark Lands represent. I will give you a simple introduction. It's a land of darkness that is related to an inheritance we simply have no one suitable to inherit. It was left behind by a person who married into the clan."

"This area is very close to another inheritance, the inheritance of Lady Andromeda. The person who created the dark lands was actually wedded to the first Lady Andromeda. Unfortunately, we were unable to get anyone suitable to cultivate there. Not even to stay for 9 hours in that area."

"The problem is not that we possess trashy cultivators. It's actually because we generally possess cultivators affiliated with anything but darkness."

"The concept of 'darkness' is generally heretical since it conflicts with the concept of light which means it conflicts starlight. That is the basis of a constellation. I've only seen a single thing which could be considered a black star. That came from your clan. Therefore, I get the feeling you're related to this ancient senior."

Hei looks at her back as her clothes flutters, silently pondering on the words she said. "It seems you had your eyes set on me and had to get me here no matter what the cost."

She laughs a bit as she teasingly replies, "Maybe I wanted to just sneak you into my bed chambers. Who knows? I don't mind playing with you for now until you mature enough."

Hei nods and calmly says, "I am sure you know that your little distractions are useless to me. I have a question. This Dark Lands, the inheritance is related to the law of Black Hole I assume. As only a black hole would stop the area from releasing light unless the person genuinely uses darkness itself."

Wuya smiles with appreciation, "You're very smart. It should be. This is because in the rumors, when the area was created, all starlight close by was sucked in. All kinds of energy are drawn in."

"Apparently, due to the fact that this senior never wanted to trouble his wife's constellation, he made sure to set up a domain and law system which doesn't interfere with the other constellation. It's just that once someone enters, they will notice that entire area is similar to a 'void'. It seems all the energy is gone. Furthermore, various mental demons related to darkness…will assault your mind."

Hei laughs happily as he replies with genuine happiness, "So it's an area you all cannot enter for too long since its practically useless to you all. I like this senior already. Such a sinister inheritance, it's to my liking."

Xing Wuya's right eye twitches as she thinks, "If I am not mistaken, the brat is probably related to that senior. He sounds quite familiar with this kind of inheritance…Bastard…At least we can see what is in there and possibly benefit greatly from it."

"Would you like a meet a few of the children in your age group which are all talents of the clan? You'll even possibly meet more than one beauty." Shrugging it off as if it's a fart that disappeared in the wind,

Hei nonchalantly replies, "Sure, whatever you want." She smiles happily and tells her servants to inform some of the talents to come pay Hei a visit to 'welcome him'.

Hei smiles to himself with a scheming face as he thinks, "Trying to get those so called talents to come test me so I can be accepted in their clique. Pah! Not interested! I rather enter this inheritance and see what it's like!"

After almost an hour of flying, finally, above in the beautiful night sky, a section with just a black gap and 2 constellations being on the left and right of it is slowly seen as they approach.

On the left of this black gap, a constellation which seems to be a wolf is seen. This constellation seems to constantly sprinkle starlight that is extremely pure among the many others Hei saw before. This wolf seems to be colored grey but it emits radiant starlight of utmost purity.

A terrifying and ferocious bestial energy can be felt from the starlight which might look gentle but probably is far from it. The more one looks on it, the more it seems like a predator is watching.

On the right of the dark gap, a brilliantly shining constellation in the form of a princess can be seen. This princess seems to be chained, as if in a sealed state. Bright golden starlight constantly falls on the ground which gives off an aura of being constricted.

The more you observe this constellation, the more it feels as if someone was being bound with chains possessing no room for escape. Hei smiles faintly as he observes the falling starlight.

It seems the starlight for both constellations actually focus on a specific area and doesn't conflict with the overall land, just a specific area. Furthermore, both areas affected by the constellations have a huge pavilion each.

Hei lands in front of the dark gap with Xing Wuya and her servants. Wuya says, "This area is just a regular place where we have landed. Once you enter that barrier, then you will be in the domain of the Dark Lands. It's the same for each area which has a specific constellation giving starlight to an area."

"This area will naturally form a barrier around it. Only persons that are suitable to cultivate the specific inheritance can enter or if one is in possession of a pass. Another thing would be if the person is extremely powerful."

Hei nods as he comes off Mao's back. "You can enter first Mao. I will be in shortly." Hei looks on Mao meaningfully as he smiles calmly. Without hesitation, Mao runs in which causes the faces of Xing Wuya and her servants to contort.

"You're really daring! Aren't you afraid that some mishap could have happened in there?" Hei shakes his head faintly as he thinks, "Who said I sent him to 'that place'? I just sent him home but used your little dark area as a means to hide it."

Hei calmly covers his head with his pullover as smiles peacefully. Without uttering a word, he simply stands there and waits on the persons who will come to 'greet' him.

A few minutes in, from the left of the dark gap, a vague figure can be seen slowly approaching. Upon exiting the area, a beautiful young lady can be seen. She seems about 12 but her features seem quite flawless. Her light but gentle skin which reflects the starlight makes her appear to be an angel who just descended.

Her graceful atmosphere reflects a peaceful and calm aura that would force even the most sinister of beings to wish to preserve her beauty. Her gently swaying black hair seems to be one with the heavens as she smiles slightly.

On her face, a slightly nerdy looking pair of spectacles can be seen which intensifies her beauty by a huge margin. Her simple purple dress with a grey wolf at her heart seems to be crafted by heavenly silk and perfectly matches her entire being.

She looks on Xing Wuya and nods. Then, she slowly looks on the simple dressed Hei. Due to fact that his face is being mostly covered, only his mouth can be seen under the hood. Unfortunately, the reaction she was expecting of fascination, awe, desire or even worship did not even slightly appear.

Hei only glances on her for a bit then looks back on the dark gap. She even felt the fact that Hei barely glanced at her which makes her slightly frown.

A beautiful voice echoes from this young maiden, "I am Xing Lang, current inheritor of Sirius, the Heavenly Wolf. I am also known as Juji Lang."

Hei nods and nonchalantly replies, "Liu Hei." He thinks to himself with amusement but not much interest, "Sniper Wolf? Heavenly Wolf Sirius? Sure, whatever…Just let me go in the dark gap."

Hearing Hei's nonchalant answer makes Xing Lang frown a bit but she then perks up. "Its fine, you must be tired from your trip…"

Hei shakes his head, "Nope, just want to actually get this little greeting over with quickly and enter the Dark Lands."

Xing Lang's expression changes to one of shock as she stares at Hei. She cannot help but think, "This kid is such a prick! I am trying to be nice and look at him! Fine! I won't warn you about the other person hear to greet you!"

From the right of the dark gap, a figure can be seen walking out. Upon appearing from the bright golden starlight, Hei sees another female who seems to be around 13 or 14.

Her stunning appearance and aura lets him think of the word 'princess' instantly. This female with a beautiful golden tiara and a bright red princess dress stands there calmly.

Hei calmly looks at her beautiful face which resembles one of nobility and pure beauty. While her expression is slightly cold, her beauty easily rivals Xing Lang from before.

Her gorgeous grey eyes, cherry pink lips and cute cheeks could captivate anyone. If she looks this beautiful from such a young age, then her future definitely is one filled with many males chasing after her.

The term 'Beauty that could collapse a nation' would be an understatement for this princess. She scans Hei and notices that he has already stopped looking at her.

She doesn't seem to mind this. Instead, she cuts straight to the point, "What makes you think that this little brat is related to the Dark Lands?"

Upon speaking, an invisible aura that is similar to one of authority and nobility among beasts seems to pressure the area. This aura seems quite cold like ice as it permeates the atmosphere.

Xing Lang erupts with a similar aura that pressures the area but one of a vigilant predator filled with a ferocious might. Both these auras clash and even a faint aura of a hungry scavenger with a strange feeling can be felt coming from Xing Wuya.

Wuya's servant step back quickly, seemingly in fear of these auras. Hei also steps back as he looks on them slightly.

A slight frown can be seen on his face as he looks on the newcomer who apparently wants to prove a point. Xing Lang laughs faintly in a victorious manner, "You won't even tell him your name? Is that how you treat a guest? Even if he is slightly not on our level, at least he didn't run like the servants."

The princess glances at Hei and coldly says, "Xing Yinghua is this princess' name; otherwise known as Princess Bing. Your aura isn't up to par."

Hei doesn't reply and continues to look on the dark gap. A slight look of impatience and annoyance can be seen on his face. Xing Wuya laughs a bit, "I am off, you 3 can do whatever you want. Remember though kid, if you cannot stay too long, don't be prideful and die in there."

With those words, she launches her movement technique. Her servants give Hei a meaningful glance and they quickly follow her. Hei attempts to walk into the black gap but is cut off by both ladies.

Xing Lang smiles and says, "I am interested in you, why don't you tell us a bit about yourself? Besides, with how weak your aura is its better you don't enter there."

Hei finally looks at both of them. Upon looking on them, for some reason, they both get an uneasy feeling in their bodies. Both their powerful auras related to their inheritances disappear from the atmosphere as a seemingly dark and empty place of coldness is birthed out of nowhere.

This darkness seems to come from an unknown time and emits a terrifyingly cold and sinister atmosphere. The sky shakes as if the heavens are wary of this aura.

Hei slowly says with impatience, "I do not wish to entertain you both. You think I am afraid or lesser than you both?"

Upon saying those words, the darkness seems to engulf the atmosphere even more as the sky shakes uncontrollably. Hei slowly pulls off his hoodie as he coldly says, "Now then, tell me, Is This Enough?"
