37 First Clan Mission

Hei looks on the shameless dragon as their evil smiles slowly vanish. "First thing we should do is apparently go get a weapon and clothing from the clan. But I want neither. So let's just skip to the part where we go get something excellent to conquer and prepare for it."

Shenyuan laughs for a bit, "You're reading this dragon of antiquity's mind. Follow me to the mission stone." They both walk off quickly. After a few minutes, they arrive at a massive floating stone. On this stone, many missions can be seen with a small description and the level of experts which are needed. Some missions showcase how many can accept it or have certain special requests.

As Hei browses over the various missions, one of them capture his eyes which makes them shine with excitement. "That's it…that's the one we are doing shameless dragon!" Hei points on a mission to the right side of the stone.

The dragon carefully follows where Hei is pointing and stares at the area. It begins reading out loud, "Mission: Participate and help bring victory to the Nameless Sect in the battle between said sect and the Hidden Dragon Sect. Rank experts needed: Anyone may go. Departure time: as soon as possible. The way is currently happening."

For the first time since the idea was proposed, the dragon looks on Hei with trepidation. "You're simply suicidal. Experts at least 2 steps ahead of us will be there…are you crazy?" Hei shakes his head as a terrifying calmness goes through his eyes. "If I was, then I would be dead already. I am going to temper myself on the battlefield and progress faster."

The dragon looks on Hei and cannot help but click his tongue in agreement. "Battlefields are what help in progressing faster indeed…Fine; I'll go get my weapon from the clan and clothing. After all, a battlefield means bodies to scavenge for resources!" Hei launches his movement technique quickly as he disappears from the dragon's eyes. His voice can be heard slowly fading. "Return to the Dark Lands before departure."

After a few minutes of moving at high speed, Hei finally enters the Dark Lands once again. "Alright spirit, you said that you can help me to manufacture weapons? Even clothes too? Let's do it then…" Hei closes his eyes and enters his dimension once again. In front of him, a pitch black spirit looking like a giant humanoid creature with a furnace in its chest can be seen. This creature is almost as tall as Ren and looks slightly familiar. However, it has an emotionless face which seems like one of a cold and hard weapon.

"Master, what would you like to make? I am the spirit of weapons. Anything can be a weapon master." Hei looks on this spirit and ponders. "I will call you Lu. I want a weapon which matches my law energy perfectly. However, with my technique that doesn't focus on something specific, I wonder what weapon I should use…"

"Master, this spirit has a simple suggestion. Why not use rocks from your dimension along with your law energy to forge a weapon. By adding appropriate inscriptions, the weapon will have certain effects." The spirit seems to suggest many things to Hei but in a manner which requires him to think.

Hei thinks to himself as he looks on the spirit. "What kind of inscriptions would match how I use my law energy and technique…? Hmm…constant changes…wait a minute! The astral inscription diagram I first drew that Ren taught me has unlimited changes…It would make a great foundation! Then I can add that with my Umbra Thunder-Fire Law energy to make something suitable for me!"

Hei's eyes shine with a dark light as he snickers to himself. "I got it Lu…" From the ground of the dimension, many pieces of pitch black rocks can be seen slowly rising from the ground. These pieces of rock give off an extremely heavy and dense feeling and a darkness that surpasses all others. They float directly into the chest of the spirit.

Hei then slowly forms the original astral inscription diagram and places it within the furnace. He then forms many umbra thunder-fire astral inscriptions and place them inside the furnace too. The eyes of Lu suddenly become much colder and more weapon like as the furnace shuts quickly.

"Please allow this spirit to create a weapon Master." Hei nods calmly as he sits and meditates. After a few days, the spirit finally speaks again. "Master…This spirit has finished!" The furnace door slowly opens. A baleful energy filled with umbra thunder-fire energy rushes from the furnace's interior.

Hei looks expectantly at the weapon which should be present. However, when Hei really sees what is there, he cannot help but frown. "A…piece of stone? Looks like a brick…really?" The weapon spirit however seems to think differently and seems slightly excited. "Master, please just connect your energy to it. You will understand soon enough!"

Hei connects his energy to the weapon and pulls it to himself. When it lands within his grasp, he stares at the small piece of brick which surprisingly has a bit of weight. This brick is small and rectangular and is barely bigger than his hand. It doesn't look lustrous at all as it seems a bit dull and dark. A faint aura of Umbra Thunder-Fire law energy can be felt from it.

But surprisingly, Hei is actually shocked! He stares at the weapon for a while before he nods in appreciation. "I know why you said those words…Genius…You're a genius spirit. Thank you Lu." Lu nods vigorously, "Thank you for the compliment Master!"

Hei smiles wickedly as he puts the weapon shrinks to the size of a pebble. He puts it into his clothes as he smiles happily. "This shall do a bit of damage! I'm off for now." He returns to the Dark Lands once again. He notices that the shameless dragon is actually sitting patiently as it awaits Hei's return.

"Finally, you damn kid…what took you so long to prepare? Had second thoughts? Based on my investigations, the next mass sendoff will be happening soon. I also heard some interesting news… your neighbors both stepped into the Essence Gathering Step…so they shall be entering the war too!"

Hei looks on the dragon as he remembers the 2 females. "The Princess and Wolf huh? No problems with me. They can do what they want. I am ready now." Hei begins walking towards the exit with a slightly confident smile on his face. Shenyuan looks on him with a weird expression as he utters, "Oh, something happened…interesting…"

Hei calmly walks as he utters, "You cultivate fast I see. Peak of the Body Refinement Realm too huh? Not bad…for a shamelessly perverted dragon." Shenyuan chuckles a bit without replying. It follows Hei until he reaches the exit. Surprisingly, Hei actually is just in time to see both Xing Yinghua and Xing Lang walking in the same direction.

While they seem to be going to the same direction, they are actually on opposite sides of the pathway. Hei slowly walks behind them with the shameless dragon as he thinks to himself about his new weapon. A slight intense to use this weapon on someone is birthed into his heart which in turn causes his aura to slightly erupt. This makes both girls freeze slightly as they look back with slight shock.

Xing Lang fixes her spectacles as she looks on Hei. Very clearly, she knows she just sensed someone with a massive amount of energy and it seems to be Hei. Bing Princess actually looks on him with a bit of caution then turns her head back. She walks off once more without caring, thinking to herself silent.

Xing Lang also walks off once more but if one were to look carefully, it can be seen that she is taking silent glances at Hei. After walking for a few minutes and taking many turns, both girls now notice that both Hei and another kid keep following them! This causes them to frown with dissatisfaction.

After a few more minutes of walking, Bing Princess breaks the silence with a slightly annoyed tone. "Where are you going? Why are you following us?" "Don't tell me you're some pervert who wants to try something stupid…" Upon saying those last words, her voice drops with coldness as she seems to transform into a freezer.

Before Hei is even able to reply, Shenyuan quickly says, "We are going on the mission that you're both going on!" Bing Princess doesn't reply but silently curses, "These kids…" Due to the interference of Shenyuan, Hei keeps quite.

They continue to walk for about an hour where they finally arrive at a set of teleportation zones. Many others can be seen waiting at numerous astral gates. Each gate has a location being described so persons going out for certain missions can know what astral gate to use.

Upon looking on the astral gate that has the title 'Nameless Sect' can be seen. Many persons can be seen standing near that astral gate. Xing Lang and Xing Yinghua both stand in front of the elder who is currently managing the gate. They hand him their Clan Tokens. The elder records that both girls will be going out on the Nameless Sect Mission.

Hei follows suit with Shenyuan which causes the elder to frown. "You're both sure you want to go? You're really young and haven't even arrived at the Essence Gathering Step… you're both in the Foundation Step….that is possibly suicide. Furthermore, while others your strength will be on the battlefield…stronger opponents can still attack you. War is not a place for the righteous…"

Before Hei is able to reply once again, Shenyuan gives out, "We know that old geezer. No problems here!" The elder once again looks at Hei and Shenyuan before he reluctantly records their information. "For those who do not know…Whenever you're all outside of the clan, your tokens will let you know that you're members of the clan. If someone tries to kill a clan member, their token will record this so don't you dare try to do it."

"Also, look out for each other. At the end of the day, we are all a part of the same clan! I never said to babysit and risk your life for others without hesitation but still, if you can, help your brother or sister!"

"There are currently 4 Immortal Step members from the previous generation, 70 Essence Gathering Step members and 2 Foundation Step members from the current generation. Don't disappoint the clan. Self-preservation comes first and the mission is after. Meet up with your seniors and be arranged to participate."

After saying his mini monologue, the elder begins operating the astral gate. It shines with a resplendent light and extends into the sky. A large fissure into space-time is created. On the other side, one can actually see a bright and tranquil area filled with houses of different sizes. However, none of the houses are labeled with any names. Everything seems plain and tranquil that is somewhat frightening.

"Go, you will all return when you opt out of the war or everything is completed. Otherwise from that, if the clan doesn't give any special requests, do not stray!" Everyone nods and begins flying into the astral gate. Both Hei and Shenyuan casually walk through the gate.

Upon appearing, only a single person can be seen standing in the distance, right at the entrance of this sect. On the front of the gate, not a single name or word can be seen. This woman stands there calmly but a terrifyingly powerful energy can be felt within her body.

She gives off an unfathomable feeling as she looks on the arriving Beast Constellation Clan members. She smiles kindly and warmly says, "This Nameless Patriarch welcomes everyone to my Nameless Sect. Please do not hold back in the upcoming battle!"
