67 Eccentric Young Master

"Damn you old drunkard….though, I wonder what alcohol tastes like…I suddenly wish I was not so young. I would like to taste this alcohol and visit many adult only places. I wonder what kind of interesting activities are done there. Hehehe, well, I am not too interested in the shameless life but still…it would be good to observe…"

Shu's voice in the dimension respectfully says, "Master, about that…there is a solution to your wish. On another note, your friends' conditions have stabilized. With enough rest, they will be able to return to their peak strength and even possibly benefit from their experience."

Hei nods, "Thanks Shu, I am relieved to know they can fully recover without any hidden injuries. I am curious about the solution to my wish though I was just speaking casually."

She answers calmly, "Then all Master would have to do is grow up." Hei blinks a few times before he sadly sighs, "That's not much of a solution. I knew that…I thought it was some sort of heaven defying method."

Shu laughs a bit which just sounds like a monotone old voice saying 'Hahahahaha'. "That was a joke Master. It can be done if Master adjusted the rate of flow of time in here. Based on the adjustment, Master can age faster to catch up to those persons who are older than you."

"With your current battle power, even if Master was 18, then Master would still be ahead of the current generation Master falls in. This is one of the features of Master's physique to allow the rate of physical age to adjust to battle power if necessary."

"As Master should know, the potential to grow into a God is present. This also includes latent abilities to hide certain aspects of Master's talent for emergency purposes."

Hei shakes his head, "That joke…it was funny after you explained it….however that is indeed a good latent ability. If that is the case, I can casually grow to around 16 and then when I exit, I can enter Essence Gathering Step. In these 9 years, I can learn some new things and consolidate what I already know. I am guessing it won't allow me to cultivate or else I could simply cultivate for the entire time."

Shu's leaves shake, "Master can still cultivate but knowing Master, this would not be acceptable since Master likes to explore and gain experiences and inspirations for Master's Dao."

Hei laughs a bit as he replies with a slightly excited tone, "That is right! Madness Dao is supreme. I have a bit of ideas but I am not finished with my plans as yet. Hmm, I will head back to the Nameless Sect first."

Hei continues to step upon Dance of Darkness, moving quickly towards the Nameless Sect. After getting a good feel of his movement technique being used in a long distance manner, he finally opens an astral gate and runs through it.

Appearing in front of the sect gates, the astral gate behind him closes quickly. He waits patiently for the sect gates to be opened. After a few seconds, it is opened, allowing him access. Hei walks in with a slightly calm but relived expression.

As he observes the white houses which are usually unbearable to his eyes, the thought of his friends being able to survive seems to overshadow his disgust for them. While he isn't happy to see them, he doesn't seem too bothered by their existence.

He thinks to himself, "I finally made it back. Now I can allow them all the chance to rest and recuperate. I can also make preparations for closed door seclusion so I can adjust my age. After all, this should be quite effective in hiding my identity from that demon as I wouldn't want to hear that he remembers about father and somehow makes a connection."

"In this time, I will also help those 2. Their minds should almost fully develop. When that happens, I will let them age accordingly and help with their Astral Awakening. In the meantime, I can also practice an auxiliary skill and further master the techniques I already possess."

Hei calmly thinks about his course of actions for the future and nods as he walks. Heading in the direction of a certain familiar blue house, Hei notices Gao sitting and drowning in sorrow as he drinks from a large pot.

Elder Kongxiang casually sips alcohol from his small saucer as he smiles and observes Hei approaching. Gao slightly glances at him and almost throws away his pot of alcohol in shock and sadness.

"Young…Young Master…you did your best. I am sorry to have handed over my brothers' lives to you shamelessly. I am sorry to be so weak and insignificant that I was unable to save them myself…."

Hei looks at Gao with curiosity and suspicion. "I see…no need to apologize…Everything is fi…"

Gao interrupts Hei, "It isn't Young Master!" He hiccups as he shakes his head, clearly drunk. His tears run down his face without him being conscious of such an action. "I thank the Young Master for at least retrieving their bodes….Elder Kongxiang told me how brave you fought against all odds and managed to retrieve their bodies. For that, this lowly trash of a brother can at least be buried with his brothers."

Hei looks curiously at Elder Kongxiang who has a small smile on his face. He continues to drink but maintains a calm and cool old geezer aura. However, deep within his eyes, a playful cunningness of a troublesome drunkard can be seen.

Hei sighs a bit, "I indeed brought their bodies back….along with their souls. They are very much alive. But…their conditions are critical so I will let them recuperate to a certain level before taking them out. As of now, they are…"

Gao emotionally runs to Hei and grabs him like a bear. He hugs him while crying, "Young Master! Thank you so much!" He cries without reservation like any child who just got a beating. Hei stands still like a brick as he wonders what to do.

While he tries to make this hug look as manly as possible, the fact remains that he is actually taller than Hei, making him seem like an older brother hugging his little brother.

"A hug…this is quite odd. Should I return the hug or what? Would it be considered normal to do so? I wouldn't want to be called a male liker…." Hei ponders until he finally makes a decision. He returns the hug like a brother to a brother, patting his back.

His face however looks slightly confused as if he is wondering how to feel. Lan Ying Yue covers her mouth as she giggles. "Oh my~ Hei, is it that you really never received a hug before?" The perpetrator who set this up, Elder Kongxiang, chuckles as he comments, "Young Hei, hugging is a form of expression."

Gao who seems to have realized his actions quickly lets go of Hei. "I…ugh..Young Master…I apologize…I was just very relieved…I…" He smiles in a silly and slightly airheaded manner.

Hei shakes his head as he waves it off, "Don't mention it…just forget it happened…literally…" Hei comments casually, trying to change the topic, "I bet those words is what skirt chasers say to women after doing it…"

Elder Kongxiang who was drinking immediately spit take. His expression freezes as it stares at Hei dumfounded. Lan Ying Yue blinks as she wonders what she really just heard.

Gao has a slightly weird smile as he nods a bit, "Uh…maybe…maybe…Young Master, forgive this one for asking but…how old are you again?" He gulps as he wonders if his guesses are right.

Hei casually replies, "I am 7 now. Hmm, I should get older soon and catch up to you all. Lan Ying Yue and the others are around 16. You're about 20?"

Gao blinks once more as he nods, "22 Young Master…" He thinks to himself, "What kind of influence did Young Master Hei have growing up?"

As Hei realizes what kind of image he may have projected, he laughs a bit and tries to change topics once more. "I really should learn how to make conversations…Hehehe…Anyways; I will wait until they regain consciousness before taking them out. Then I will go into closed door seclusion and grow up."

Gao nods as respectfully replies, "Thank you again Young Master…it really means a lot to me. I am sure the others feel the same." Hei shakes his head, "It is fine. They will awaken soon so in the meantime, I will just wait."

Hei once again transforms into a cute black bear. He sits cross-legged and looks forward without saying a word. An awkward silence fills the air. Gao sits casually as he is already used to seeing Hei sit cross-legged as a bear. While he still wonders how or why he would do that, he just casually brushes it off as the 'eccentric habits of royalty'.

However, Lan Ying Yue and Elder Kongxiang stare at Hei in shock and confusion. They both suppress the urge to laugh. Hei continues to stare forward for a few minutes before he sighs. "Hmm, I know what to do to pass some time."

He takes out the small brick and tosses it in the air. The brick spins as it transforms into a black calligraphy brush. "You use Wood, right Gao?"

Gao nods, "That is correct Young Master." Hei nods, then I will start with that. Hei's shadow which based on the sun and his current sitting position should be directly behind him actually slowly shifts. It moves to the right side of his body as if the sun was shining from his left.

Everyone stares at this spectacle as they wonder what the hell just happened. Hei casually dips the brush in the shadow which actually ripples like the purest of black ink. As the brush is raised from the shadow pool, small astral inscriptions can be seen dancing like fairies in the night.

Elder Kongxiang who was happily drinking cannot help but stop and rub his eyes. "This alcohol has really blinded this old one's eyes…" Lan Ying Yue stares at the inscriptions as she marvels at such a concept Gao gulps as his eyes are filled with astonishment and awe.

With gentle but calm strokes, Hei slowly draws the character for wood. Using space as his paper and his own shadow as ink, he begins his calligraphy. As he makes his strokes, they seem like the branches of a tree being connected to a powerful and sturdy trunk. As the 木 character is drawn, the astral inscriptions seem to come alive as they perfectly connect to one another.

They seem to move around randomly at first but the more one observes them, the more you would realize that they seem to continuously change in order and direction but still maintain the written word. The character for wood radiates a heavenly feeling as wood energy from nature itself is constantly drawn towards it.

Elder Kongxiang narrows his eyes as suspicion fills his heart. He secretly muses, "This child is definitely above any kind of monster I have seen…He doesn't reveal anything unless either offended or he really takes a fancy to you. I bet if I asked him to write something, he would have ignored me. However, this Gao person doesn't need to ask anything and he is sure to help him. Such an interesting little monster…"

The surrounding flowers seem to flourish even more as they sway in happiness. The surrounding nature essence related to wood itself is absorbed by the character for wood and seem to undergo some sort of change within it.

Once it is released in the environment again, it actually gives off a heavenly and purified feeling. The flowers in Ying Yue's garden greedily absorb this energy, even the grass in the surroundings seem much greener and stronger.

Hei stares at the finished product as he wonders how it could be improved. Hei laughs a bit like any child doing random drawings. "I know what to do." He dips his brush in the ink once again and begins drawing more 木 characters. When finished, each character slowly floats in space and begins arranging themselves.

When finished, one can notice that the combined words actually wrote the 木 character once more but a much larger one. Each of the strokes from this massive wood character is actually used to form the strokes for this much larger character!

The various characters seem to link together perfectly as an even more terrifying suction force envelops the atmosphere. From all corners of the sect, nature essence related to the wood element is drawn in then expelled from the character. The newly released nature essence seems to not only be refined and heavenly, but no purities can be felt in it.

The surrounding vegetation barely absorbs this new and refined energy and already begins showing signs of shivering. They actually begin growing in a speed visible to the eyes. Hei nods and casually waves his hand, causing the astral inscription character to only absorb nature essence but not release it.

Hei moves his claws on his left hand and the character seems to sway and dance similar to his claws' movements. Lan Ying Yue shakes her head as she comments, "No matter what…you're still just a kid."

Gao's eyes stare with fire and desire. "Young…Young Master is truly godly. Such a plaything for Young Master is a heavenly treasure for any wood or astral inscription cultivator."

Hei curiously looks at Gao, "You want this? Hmm, sure, have it." Hei points at him and the inscription character directly flies to him as it begins shrinking quickly and stops in front of his chest. "Don't rest it." The astral inscription character directly enters Gao's Earth Dantian, stupefying him.

"You can use that to improve your bloodline I guess. It should be good for infusing and tempering it with the energy."

Gao cannot help but happily nod as he refuses his desire to reject the already given inscription. "Thank you Young Master!" Hei shrugs, "If you like it that much then just have it. No problems at all."

Lan Ying Yue cutely smiles, "Aaaw, you're such a nice person Hei. Would you mind drawing something for me too? I hope it's beautiful and moon related." Hei casually looks back at her and replies, "Nope."

She pouts as Elder Kongxiang laughs heartily, "Such an Eccentric Young Master!"
