25 Dragon's Awakening
Hei laughs a bit as he looks on the dragon. "Do not worry; I will not take what you said seriously." The dragon innocently replies, "What are you talking about? What did I say before that you wouldn't take seriously?" A shameless smile can be seen on his face as it looks at Hei 'curiously' with a questioning face. Hei shakes his head as he utters the word 'Shameless'.
"Ren, help Shu prepare the body of the Black Poison Crocodile. Mao, hand over the pure blood essence." Mao slowly appears out of the darkness with black energy surrounding a massive ball of blood."
"This blood emits a roaring power of pure and tyrannical astral essence and blood energy. Bestial energies constantly pulsate from it similar to the roars of dragons. Upon seeing the ball of blood, the remnant spirit reveals a pained expression.
Mao hands over the blood to Shu who also surrounds the blood with a mysterious black energy. From the depths of the dimension, a black figure with an unknown size can be seen slowly approaching. Even though this figure seems quite far away, the physical size of this being seems to overshadow the concept of 'tall' or 'huge'. It continues to walk towards the farm calmly.
Each of its steps seems to be able to crush planets as it strolls towards the area Hei and the dragon is located. The normally shameless looking dragon stares at the newcomer with shock and trepidation. "What…the actual…fuck? This dragon of antiquity must be seeing wrong…Is that…a Colossan? That…face…"
As Ren approaches, his terrifying visage is imprinted in the eyes of the black dragon. Such a face seems to leave an impression on the black dragon. It utters, "Your God Physique is not just related to beasts!? How is this possible!?"
Both Hei and Ren actively ignore the shameless dragon without the slightest of care. Ren opens its massive palm and from within, a number of astral inscriptions quickly form. These astral inscriptions emit a dark and heretical feeling with a desire to plunder the heavens. Ren slowly lets them float to the sleeping Black Poison Crocodile. Without stopping, these astral inscriptions begin fusing into its body. The crocodile trembles silently then it continues to sleep peacefully.
It is only a pity that it doesn't know that the next time it 'awakens' it will be fused with a shameless being. Due to having no actual intelligence, it wouldn't matter really since the dominant soul in this case will be that shameless dragon. It will easily devour the soul of this crocodile and use that as a base to become a new life.
Shu unhurriedly says, "Let the Astral Awakening Ritual commence. The first step shameless dragon is to begin fusing with the soul of the crocodile. Upon finishing, simply meditate and say the following words, "Astral Heavens, I appear before you as a subordinate of Black to awaken, grant me your blessing."
"After which, you will officially have started. Master will be on the 'board of the heavens' to help make a decision in your 'gifts'. Once you have begun, the astral inscriptions in your body will automatically trigger and devour all the blood essence, successfully storing it for you to use later in the ritual."
The dragon suspiciously looks on the ancient tree as it thinks, "Those words are a bit different from what is normally said. Normally, it is "Oh Astral Heavens, I beg for awakening. This lowly one here begs to be blessed with fortune to one day be recognized as a being which follows your way." That sounds totally different…from what he just said. If you were to compare both, then in this dragon of antiquity's opinion, the latter sounds subservient to the heavens while the other sounds domineering and without respect to the heavens! Subordinate of…Black? Wait…Don't tell me…"
The dragon remembers Shu's words from before, "Master will be on the 'board of the heavens' to help make a decision" and ponders.
"Wait a minute, don't tell me this bastard's God Physique will let him be on par with the heavens as this dragon of antiquity undergo awakening? If that is the case…fuck! This dragon of antiquity will have to follow this bastard around for quite some time. This is my good fortune for all those years of plundering females!"
If any sane person were to hear this dragon's thoughts, they would definitely make it a priority to wipe this shameless being from existence. Unfortunately, he was smart enough to keep his thoughts to himself. The dragon slowly nods and floats to the body of the black crocodile. Hei sits on his black throne chair and floats to the sky.
Upon looking on Hei, the dragon suddenly gets the feeling that the once innocent and mature looking child somehow transformed…transformed to a being which he is unable to comprehend.
The feeling of looking on a being far above your like of comprehension and existence can be felt radiating from Hei. The darkness of the world seems to increase by many levels.
The dragon's body slowly gets smaller and smaller until it becomes as small as the black crocodile. It begins merging with the black crocodile.
The eyes of the black crocodile open quickly as it screams in pain. This continues for a few minutes before the black crocodile calms down once again. The eyes of the Black Poison Crocodile slowly open.
"This dragon of antiquity has successfully taken over the body of this weak crocodile. It feels odd but good to have a body once more! Let me begin ritual…" It begins mediating calmly and after a few minutes the dragon takes a deep breath and wiggles its small body. It utters solemnly, "Astral Heavens, I appear before you as a subordinate of Black to awaken, grant me your blessing."
Upon saying the last word, the body of the crocodile shakes as the sky of the dimension actually shakes. 5 different beams of starlight actually emerge from the heavens themselves and begin shining on the crocodile. These lights constantly interchange colors with each other and emit a supreme energy which cannot be resisted. A 6th light slowly descends but is actually from Hei. This starlight seems extremely dark and could be considered to be black. Hei calmly looks on the black crocodile as if looking on a mere mortal who wishes to gain something from a divine god.
The astral inscriptions in the body of the crocodile begin shining with pure brilliance. These lights do not interfere with the heavenly lights shining on the body of the crocodile.
The blood essence stored in the form of a ball quickly begins moving towards the body of the crocodile and actually enters it completely, seemingly disappearing into an endless abyss of no return.
The shameless dragon looks up from within the body of the crocodile. What he sees sends shock straight through his body. Where Hei was sitting before, instead of his actual body, a vague mist of pure darkness can be seen.
This mist of darkness seems to be able to swallow all things of existence and emits a feeling of extreme heaviness. A feeling of pure crisis and destruction shakes the body of the crocodile.
The other 5 lights continue to interchange with each other as they wash over the body of the dragon. These lights seem to slowly mingle with the darkness emitted from Hei. Mysterious sounds similar to music can be heard coming from the 5 lights.
For some reason, the dragon gets the feeling that these 5 lights are trying to communicate with Hei. Sometimes the sounds are similar to heavenly drums or flutes, another time they are evil and sinister cries and uncontrollable mourning.
This continues for a while until finally, a single sound is emitted. This sound seems to come from the depths of the dimension. The other lights slowly begin emitting various orbs of astral essence upon the crocodile's body. A scene appears in the eyes of the shameless dragon.
In its mind, there are 6 roads ahead. One of them has an entire pavilion filled with heavenly beauties can be seen. These heavenly beauties are dressed in the thinnest and shortest of clothing, revealing most of their flawless skin and prefect curves.
Another road depicts an old lady who is about to be hit by a cart of cabbages. The road beside that depicts an entire dimension filled with various heavenly materials and herbs.
Beside that road is a road filled with trails and tribulation but will definitely be something good to temper the heart. The next road depicts where the dragon gets to transform into a human and live an extremely normal life. It gets a beautiful wife and 3 wonderful children. He grows old and eventually dies a peaceful death at old age.
The final road seems to be one where the dragon is transformed into a baby beast. It has no special traits and no bloodline power. Apart from the fact that it can think and move, nothing special about it is seen.
Behind the dragon, unknown to him, Hei is calmly sitting along with 5 mysterious orbs of light which all twinkle. Hei calmly thinks, "I designed this test for you bastard…If you are unable to pass this then you're useless." The dragon is just about to run towards the road filled with beauties when it stops and thinks.
"This dragon of antiquity wants those heavenly beauties! But this is obviously a test…None of these should be wrong but which would be the best to choose? Wait a minute…If I choose the beauties, that is all I get…similarly, it is the same for the others except…ONE! This dragon of antiquity has got it!"
The dragon quickly rushes onto the road where it is reborn as a simple dragon with nothing at the beginning. As it enters, it thinks to itself, "All the other roads can be attained so as long as this dragon of antiquity exists. If this dragon of antiquity is even a simple dragon, I can always cultivate to gain the others. Even making an avatar that lives a human life is possible!"
Upon seeing the shameless dragon actually choose right, Hei nods slightly. The scenes around the dragon collapse. It notices that it is now located in a very dark space.
This dark space has many twinkling stars far ahead. It thinks to itself, "Seems I will get to choose something now…wow… this is actually really possible."
Hei's voice echoes out into the void, "Shameless Dragon, search the heavens for a suitable star. Consider yourself lucky that this god has graced you."
This voice sends shivers right through the body of the dragon as it shakes from pure fear. "Fuck…this dragon of antiquity was right…he really is a monster."
The dragon quickly flies towards the small dots of light which seems to be stars. The closer he gets, the more distinguished the stars become. Each star seems to be something different from the other. Many different types of law energy can be seen emitting from these stars. These law energies seem to come from both a bloodline and an astral spirit.
"Oh fuck! Hell yeah! This is amazing! When my original underwent Astral Awakening, he only got a frikking astral spirit. Furthermore, the choices weren't so high leveled. Even the bloodline he got after gaining sentience was never this strong! Finally, my years of plundering have given me enough luck!"
The dragon senses the laws surrounding each star and continues to move between them, looking for something that suits its taste. "Now then, let's see if I can find something related to my specialty…Black Holes! Hehehehe, hopefully this dragon of antiquity gets something that is suitable."
As it moves, it senses a few stars which seem to be related to the laws of a black hole. But their strength seems to all be on a similar level. "It's like those black hole stars are very few in numbers but are all of a similar strength…more than likely they just look different. It will prob…This feeling!"
From deep within the heavens, a terrifying star can be felt. Just sensing this star makes it seem as if his entire mind is about to be devoured. The dragon quickly flies to the source of this feeling. Upon arriving, he notices that the area he is located has many weird stars which not only give off not 1 but 2 bloodline auras and astral spirits.
In the middle of a wind-water and earth-fire star, a single void can be seen. A terrifying heaviness is felt and everything around it seems to stay far in fear of being pulled in. The dragon exclaims with excitement, almost tearing up again. "That's the one I want!"
The shameless dragon flies straight into the celestial body. A feeling of being sucked in, crushed and compressed is felt directly in his mind. On the outside, an orb which looks exactly like a black hole forms above the head of the crocodile. This black hole brutally sucks in the body of the crocodile. Not even the sound of crushing escapes from the black hole.
Shu's ancient voice echoes out silently, "It seems the shameless dragon was fortunate. Master seems to have helped him by a great deal. Now then, what happens next will be the interesting part."
Ren nods and smiles with 'interesting' plastered on its sinister face. Mao calmly observes as it snarls, "That dragon better not try to betray master…or else…"
