6 Black Cat

Wang Taizong grits his teeth and angrily spits out, "Don't you worry little arrogant prick. I will welcome you anytime." An invisible force brings his son closer and they both disappear in the blink of an eye.

Hei slowly looks to his aunt, Zhu Qianxue and emotionlessly declares, "Do not think you're in any better situation. Scram and never let me see your face again. When I begin cultivating and I am strong enough, I will annihilate you and your abomination of a child."

Zhu Tianxuan sighs and sadly expresses, "Little Hei, do not be too harsh on your aunt and cousin, they are after all family. Besides, it is very difficult to understand the hearts of women…" An extremely pained expression appears on his face and if one were to glance at Liu Xuanhong, a similar expression could be seen.

Hei slowly turns to the other children and gives them an emotional look but in their eyes, they only see a monster in jet black armor of thunder and fire that diffuses a darkness which reminds them of the concept of an abyss. He then slowly walks off without glancing at his parents or grandparents.

The armor slowly dissipates as the 2 massive black stars dissipate at the same speed as the armor. A clear and peace filled sky can be seen which completely contrasts the previous vivid fighting. As Hei continues to walk, he appears to be quite strong but on his face, a clearly pained expression can be seen and blood trickling down the corners of his mouth that slowly drips on his cloak.

He barely manages to arrive at the tree he was seated under earlier where he sits and tries to relax his pained and exhausted body.

He sighs a bit, "Releasing this much bloodline power is extremely taxing on my body. I need to enhance my physical foundations. In the next 3 years, the Astral Awakening Ritual will be held for my sisters and me. I wonder if anything that shouldn't be noticed will be at that time…"

A few divine senses sweep over Hei and linger for a few moments which cause an obvious frown to form on his face. After a few breaths of time, they end up leaving, clearly not too interested in garnering his wrath. He leans on the tree and inhales deeply. A slight uneasiness and anger constantly assails his heart whenever he remembers his sisters and their pained expressions.

A sharp gleam quickly passes through his eyes as he solemnly swears in a quiet voice, "Wang Heavenly Astral Clan, I will destroy you without even a single speck of dust remaining." A playful voice sounding very intrigued teasingly says, "Is that so? It's the first time I am hearing a 6 year old swearing to destroy an oh so proud and powerful heavenly astral clan; that's new for me."

Hei looks around quickly but the sudden movement causes his pain to increase as he groans. "Who is it?! Show yourself!" The voice once again sounds out, "But I am not hiding 'Little Hei'. Can't you see me? I am standing right in front of you after all!"

Hei slowly turns his head to the voice which seems to be coming from in front of him. A black cat that looks simple but has bright yellow eyes with sharp slits looks on him. On that cat face, it seems to have an expression of smiling. Hei looks on the cat with 50% caution, 30% pain and 20% shock.

"Is there a problem? First time you're seeing a talking cat? Wow, your life must be very boring." The cat sits on his hind legs and gracefully holds its head up straight as it stares into Hei's dark black eyes. An expression of confidence and regality can be seen on this cat which makes it seem very strange since it looks like a normal cat.

"Your little family members should be wondering what you exactly are…furthermore, many of your fellow clan members will secretly be restless since the previously mute little young master is actually a brutal monster." Hei stares at the cat for a good 10 breaths of time then slowly says, "I won't ask who are you as yet…but I will ask this…Your purpose for talking to me is?"

Upon hearing those words, the cat gives out carefree laugh. "Your intelligence and cunningness surprises me the more I observe. It was merely on a whim that I was passing by using this Star Way and saw something which I have never once seen before until 6 years ago….A black star. It reminds me of a Black Hole…the only celestial body that is 'black'."

Hei continues to look on the cat suspiciously before slowly saying, "Then what do you want exactly?" The cat nods in appreciation and complacently states, "I want you to join my family. I want marriage between our clans hehehe." The usually calm Hei suddenly opens his eyes, "What? A marriage alliance? Why would I accept that and I do not know anything about you? Furthermore, that's something that involves the parents of both parties too…this is ridiculous!"

"You have a few good points, but, it's not as simple as merely marrying someone. Currently, my little daughter is engaged to a brat due to the rest of the clan liking him along with him appearing to be the perfect candidate due to his 'temperament', 'elegance', 'social status' and 'innate potential'. Bullshit I call it!"

A look of curiosity and genuine interest appears on Hei's face as he thinks about the situation. The image of fake little prick trying to steal a beauty under the noses of everyone slowly forms in his mind. "If I were to help you…Keyword being 'if', then what's in it for me?"

A complacent smirk appears on the face of the cat. "We both know your arrogance knows no bounds. You do not want anything and you're just curious about my daughter. The usually silent 'Little Hei' seems to secretly be a little womanizer!"

"I don't mind you trying to do anything to my daughter but…that's if you successfully fulfill my wishes. I first want that prick exposed, raise the prestige of my clan even more and finally raise my little daughter's prestige. She is my only daughter so make sure she is always happy. Fulfill these simple wishes of mines and I guarantee that you will have a fairly strong force of power being allied to you."

"Hmmm…" Hei ponders as he looks on his current situation. "I did put the clan in a serious situation with my allegedly arrogant behavior. As a man, I should take responsibility. Father also revealed things which will bring our clan into a predicament. While it might seem stupid, the fact still remains that a demon killed an important member of the Wang Heavenly Astral Clan while sparing my father's life."

"Now persons will say we are related to demons, especially with the original name of our strongest 12 cultivators being called the 12 Thunderous Demons." "Fine, I…." "Master, you are aware that the cat is actually a…" "Mao, don't interrupt me. Stop being jealous because a black cat is talking to me and it's not you."

Hei looks to the cat and nods, "I accept your offer." The black cat smiles 'resplendently' and puts its paw out to shake Hei's hand. "Good decision kid, this old one here cannot be even more impressed at your quick and smart decision."

Hei puts his hand out to shake the paw of the cat with a slightly weird look on his face since it's the first he is shaking the paw of a tiny little cat that talks. Just as his hand holds the paw, a sharp pain assails his palm as blood can be seen. The cat grins and a scroll filled with astral inscriptions appear instantly, the cat quickly puts its paw on the scroll.

A blinding light is released from the center of the scroll as the blood quickly disappears. "What did you do!?" A furious shout can be heard from Hei as he grabs at the cat. The cat simply jumps back gracefully and waves his paw, "Now now Little Hei, be a good boy and relax. I simply put you under a contract so you don't try anything weird. It also makes it so that you do not have to worry about me betraying you either. Hehehe, your face looks so scary right now."

The look in Hei's hand seems to be one of pure rage and killing intent as he looks on the blood flowing from his palm. It slowly closes but the memory of it still angers him along with what was done with that blood. Coldness can be felt from Hei's voice as he retorts, "you couldn't say what you were doing beforehand?"

The cat shakes its head as it slowly waves its paw. In a matter of fact tone it simply states, "As a demon, I have to try my best with my contracts. What do you expect?" Hei almost vomits blood as he hears the most unbelievable thing. "He's a frikking demon! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA CRAP! I am just trying to clear up the possible alliance with demons for my clan and just got into contract with a frikking demon! Ah crap, I am dumb."

The black cat appears on Hei's shoulder and pats him on the head with its paw.

"Don't worry Little Hei, by the time you mature and our relationship is publicly known, they won't be able to touch your clan randomly. The times are changing. The universe we know is coming to the peak of its time. Besides, where we will go is far from here."

"By the time the news hits them about you, probably you can destroy a clan by yourself." Hei shakes his head in a daze, "I made a deal with a demon. Great, just frikking great. What next? Wait a minute…demon, deal, daughter…I have to marry a little demoness!?" "That's right; you hit the nail right on the head. Hehehe, don't worry, she's extremely beautiful to me."

An extremely sad sigh escapes Hei's mouth as he looks up on the cherry blossoms slowly fluttering from the tree he is leaning on. For some reason, the face of Shui Ling suddenly enters his mind for a split second a slightly sour feeling can be felt.

He nods as a bit of resolution can be seen in his eyes, "Fine, I will accept my fate and quickly get strong enough. Then I will be able to do whatever I want without a tiny contract binding me. Besides, I really prefer to leave the clan before I am 9 because I do not want to actually have my Astral Awakening Ritual at the clan. It would attract too much unwanted attention."

The black cat nods with a faint smile on its face. "Very good, then I will be sure to send someone for you before that. Where I am from, an Astral Awakening Ritual will happen very close in time to the one happening at your clan. You can begin the terms of the contract at that time. Do you agree?" Hei calmly nods as he fully regains his composure.

"That doesn't sound too bad. In the meantime, I will try to increase my potential and physical parameters. By the time that day comes, I will bring some prestige to your clan." The black cat slowly nods and jumps off Hei's shoulder. "Remember, I will be picking you up in approximately 3 years' time. Be sure to get ready." The cat slowly fade away as laughing that sounds like a playful but malevolent spirit can be heard.

"I really am too young. I should probably have questioned him more on the terms of that contract. Whatever, I will train my astral inscriptions too so when the time comes, I can easily break that contract. I wonder what Grandfather Liu is doing…He is probably trying to explain some things to the other clan leaders. I really did put the clan in a precarious situation but that Wang bastard deserved it."

His eyes slowly begin closing as he mutters in an exhausted tone, "I will try to fix this but first, I need…to…recover." A gentle expression appears on Hei's face as he falls asleep peacefully.
