46 Additional Source Powers

Hei looks on the 'sleeping' Sapphire one last time and then enters the living room of the house. He goes to a corner of the room and sits on the cold, solid floor. Leaning back into the corner, he looks to the room he was in with an annoyed expression.

He grumbles in his mind, "Ah screw you damn female…I could be relaxing in bed." Hei closes his eyes and enters his dimension. However, as soon as he enters he notices something strange. The previously dark dimension seems to increase in darkness. Things seem at least a tone darker than before.

Before he is able to comment, Shu's voice echoes within the dimension, "Master, you have a few things to know." Hei walks to the gigantic ancient tree and sits in front of it cross-legged. "I feel quite strange ever since I am at the peak of Blood Refinement…Why is that so?"

Shu calmly replies as if expecting this question, "This is because Master has unlocked more of his physique's power. Infusing the power of your physique will allow this to happen. Now Master should feel the power of 3 additional source energies which is what made Master feel strange."

Hei looks on Shu curiously as he thinks out loud, "3 additional source powers? Wait…don't tell me…" Shu's leaves shake silently, "Yes Master, you can now utilize the forms of the 3 additional sources of your physique. With this, you will be able to enter forms related to Beasts, expand your body, reverting like Colossans or transform into demonic forms."

Hei laughs a bit, "That isn't all, is it?" Shu's leaves shake once more which seems to make Hei even more excited as his eyes seem to be glazed with anticipation. "Master will be able to freely shift between forms with enough practice and utilize aspects of each simultaneously."

Hei stands up quickly in shock. "You mean…Well, I always knew I was over powered but this is simply ridiculous. However, I will make use of it. If the heavens want to produce a god, I might as well become the most powerful to ever exist and to ever exist."

Shu's voice seems to have anticipation tinged into his ancient and calm tone as he continues, "I can teach Master in regards to utilizing the demonic aspects. In regards to the others, I assume Master knows who should be asked."

Hei nods as he calms down, returning to his nonchalant and cool expression. "Then let us begin." Shu explains patiently, "Demons are not as most persons think. They can be prideful, arrogant or simply evil but this is simply a philosophy of the uneducated. Master, remember this well, Demons are the embodiments of a concepts and emotions."

"All Demons are like this and will eventually awaken their demonic form based on these concepts and emotions which are dominant deep within them. This demonic form will be a direct representation of the different types of concepts and emotions that can be found in the Demon. Many Demons now have leaned towards 'evil' as a means to scare their enemies but in truth, Demons are much nicer than humans."

"A Demon can deceive but will never go against their contracts. However, humans will definitely do this without hesitation. Thus, deep within your blood, when Master would like to revert to a demonic part, utilize the aspect that seems like a blank slate waiting for emotions and concepts to be infused within to create something."

"Due to Master's unique physique, Master will be able to repeatedly change these concepts and emotions whenever he deems it necessary." Hei stares at Shu in shock. "So Demons are actually not so bad…except that Black Cat…That bastard will one day have to give me an answer…"

Hei nods in appreciation and turns around. "Thank you Shu for the help." Shu's leaves tremble as he replies, "Yes Master, Master is very much welcome…" Hei walks off into the distance as indescribable feelings wash over him. "Humans…why the more I grow, the more I realize humanity seems to be the worst of the races?"

As Hei walks and ponder, He notices Mao sitting on a rock, looking out in the distance as he wiggles his tail. "Mao…I would like to know about beasts." Mao slowly turns around with a mysterious look in his pitch black eyes. "Master came to the right person."

Mao calmly looks on Hei as he seems to gather his thoughts or is trying to be suspenseful. He finally says, "Master, Beasts are majestic creatures of the Heavenly Dao. Beasts embody the struggles of starting from nothing and arriving somewhere else. Beasts can begin from animals which seem to serve no purpose and with enough time, will become an apex predator."

"Beasts represent the significance of beginning and end. Beasts also embody the concept of predator and prey. For a beast to go from human to beast form, they are going from the prey to predator. Reverting to a human form from the beast form then would be predator to prey."

"Furthermore, to galvanize a specific form as a beast, one has to think of the beginning animal and the final product. When Master is ready to utilize a beast form, Master should look for the power within that constantly changes from beginning to end, prey to predator. All predators were once prey and anything at the end must have started from the beginning. It is a cycle of the Heavenly Dao."

Hei nods and stares at Mao. "I understand what you mean…Before one can become a predator, they have to once be a prey…for other beings have existed before you…you have to grow into a predator. Thank you Mao." Mao nods as pride can be seen in his eyes. "No problems Master."

Looking into the sky, Hei eventually locates the pitch black figure which seems to stand on par with the heavens themselves. Hei looks up but is unable to see Ren's face. Hei is just about to say something when Ren firsts him.

"Master, if you want to know what reverting into a Colossan is like, then you will need to come up here first. The first thing about being a Colossan is to never look up to others physically. How could a Colossan look up to something else and Colossans tower over the heavens?"

Hei rises into the air without hesitation. After a while of flight, he finally arrives at Ren's face. The savage grin on Ren's face still seems to almost reach where his eyes should be. "Colossans are simple beings. We are beings which tower over the heavens. We only look down or forward, never above for there is nothing above us."

Hei nods as he seems to comprehend something from Ren's words. "Whenever Master would like to revert to a Colossan form, Master should remember the 2 things important for this to happen. These are the will to tower over the heavens and the reason for this."

Hei ponders for a bit as he nods. "I understand…Tower over the heavens….reason and will" Ren nods, "Master should simply look for the aspect which calls to tower over existence itself."

Hei stands in the air as he continues to think about the words told to him by the 3 astral spirits he knew form the day he was born till now. He floats to the ground and stands in a daze. "If each of these races possess these qualities, then what does humanity represent? Why is it that every race dislikes humanity?"

Hei continues to think but is unable to find an answer. "Ah well, I will leave that for another day. It's time to go back in my body anyways." Hei closes his eyes and enters his body once more. However, as soon as he gets back feeling in his body, he shivers a bit.

He opens his eyes and notices that he is on his side. Furthermore, he is seeing the side of the wall in his room a small distance away from him. What is even more ridiculous is that he can clearly hear snoring and someone hugging him from behind.

He comments in his mind, "Alright, what the actual hell is going on here? Don't tell me this girl…Eh? Why am I under sheets?" Hei slowly tries to wiggle his way out of this girl's grasp but in a gentle manner as to not wake her. However, she seems determined to hold on to him.

This in turn makes Hei pissed at his capture. He forces himself from the girl's grasp which seems to wake the girl. She slowly sits up in the bed as she rubs her eyes. "Good morning Hei…you're up early…" Hei stares at the girl in anger and annoyance. "What the hell is wrong with you? Why am I not where I was last at?"

Lan Ying Yue smiles innocently, "I thought you were cold and decided to warm you up a bit. Besides, I felt bad that you were in your own house and had to sleep in the corner of the living room…."

She seems like she is about to cry as she looks on Hei sadly, filled with apology and sincerity. Hei stares at her and her face is slightly hopeful for his forgiveness. "Just go screw yourself. I am going to take a bath and then leave. Make yourself scram in that time."

Hei walks into the bathroom and takes a long and relaxing bath as he continues to ponder what Humanity could represent. As soon as he is finished, he gets dressed and exits the bathroom. However, as soon as he leaves the room, he notices that the house is filled with a fragrant scent.

He thinks to himself, "Food? I didn't cook or order food. That little…." Hei walks to the kitchen and notices the girl is actually putting food on the table. Not only is there food, but there is actually 2 servings as if for 2 persons.

She laughs a bit, "I made breakfast for you as an apology. Here, have some dragon meat stir-fried in sapphire grape wine! I also made sapphire gingko tea." Hei stands there as he looks on the food and tea suspiciously. "Can you even cook? Why do I get the feeling this might kill me?"

She looks on Hei with a face filled with dissatisfaction. "Whenever a girl cooks for you, don't question it and just eat…" Hei sighs and sits down. She follows suits and waits on him to begin eating. Hei slowly begins tasting the food and drinks a bit of the tea. "Hmmm, doesn't seem deadly…However it could be better."

Lan Ying Yue shakes her head in disappointment. "Maybe I really should have poisoned you." Hei laughs a bit as he devours the food and drinks the tea. However, she eats gracefully like a young miss of a supreme background which Hei notices.

He looks on her after he has finished eating but doesn't feel guilty in the slightest. "Hmm, it wasn't bad indeed. Maybe I can hire you to cook for me." Hei jokingly tries to be decent for once. She looks on him for a bit and then shakes her head. "You can't pay me to cook for you. You're too poor. Besides, you aren't worth it."

She seems to try and provoke Hei as she looks on Hei and smiles teasingly. Hei stares at her as he emotionlessly observes her. "You think you're worthy to cook for me every day? I show a bit of grace and here you are bragging. The food was actually horrible and I will eventually go vomit."

She shakes her head in disappointment. "You really are the worst Liu Hei. You definitely will remain single for the rest of your life."

Hei laughs a bit without shame, "I rather stay single than be with someone as disturbing as you…" She looks on him with a bit of interest and a playful smile slowly creeps onto her face. "You haven't seen disturbing as you."

Hei's smile drops into a frown as he looks on her. "What the hell does that mean?"
