12 A Friend
No hint of surprise can be seen on the faces of the adults as they look on Hei. Zhu Hong'er and Liu Tian's faces however have the looks of sadness and unwillingness. "Little Hei, why must you try so hard to go against your grandparents? Mother and father are both worried…"
Zhu Hong'er gently tries to speak to Hei in hopes of him coming around. He shakes his head with a slight smile.
"I said it already; I will be leaving whether or not you all think otherwise. You can stop me if you want though." Hei slowly walks off towards the interior of his pavilion. His family members slowly follow him but maintain a distance of a few meters as they leisurely watch his actions.
Surprisingly, he is actually packing his clothes along with money that he had kept since he doesn't usually spend his allowance. Many star stones and the gifts he got for his birthday are all being thrown into the ring he got with the other resources.
He nods as walks back towards the exit of the pavilion. He looks to the exit as he remembers the barrier that was present for quite a while now. He turns around and actually takes a good look at the Black Night Pavilion once more.
"Goodbye Black Night Pavilion, we had a good run but things have changed. I must leave."
Zhu Tianxuan shakes his head in pity as he unhurriedly says, "How exactly do you plan on escaping from here? A barrier has been placed around this entire pavilion. Furthermore, even if you used the entire of your bloodline, it would be impossible for you to break that barrier. Therefore, you escaping is even more difficult than ascending the astral heavens."
Hei smiles a bit and nods, "I understand that much but let me just say, if things really go bad, do not be angry when I return to destroy you all. I most certainly am someone who repays enmity with utter humiliation and unlimited shame and pain. As relatives, I will be kind and not cripple your cultivations."
Liu Xuanhong and Zhu Tianxuan both laugh at the same time. It seems they consider those words to be the silliest joke they have heard in a very long while. Liu Tian and Zhu Hong'er however possess faces of pity and sadness.
Zhu Hong'er shakes her head and smiles with sadness, "Please, just calm down and explain to us what are your current strengths and weaknesses. It's for the best Little Hei." Liu Tian nods in agreement.
Hei replies with a scorn filled tone, "I really pity Bai and Fei Hong. To grow up in such deceit and politics, I hope their hearts remain pure. Mines will always be pure, pure black that is."
"Ren, break the barrier." Hei utters those words with a laziness that could make any cat proud. Nothing happens at all. Hei's face however doesn't change and he still has a look of calm and indifference.
Both Zhu Tianxuan and Liu Xuanhong begin laughing again as Zhu Tianxuan mockingly says, "Oh, it seems his 'help' from this 'Ren' isn't here. I wonder who that might be. Hehehe, such a joke has left me flabbergasted. I almost thought someone was really going to appear."
Liu Xuanhong nods in agreement, "I was indeed cautious for a moment but now I feel very ashamed at that. All bark but no bite. No grandson of mines should be that bold but then flop himself right after."
A sudden screech sound which seems to come from the darkest abyss can be faintly heard. It seems to be coming from a place extremely far but also extremely close. Such a feeling makes it even more strange and enigmatic.
A slightly familiar sound to 3 persons related to Hei can be heard. Along with the sound, a chill which seems to invade the very soul seems to surface out of nowhere. The sky that was filled with beautiful stars now slowly becomes much darker.
If one were to look on the entire Liu Heavenly Astral Clan from afar, it would seem like a black stretch of unknown material seems to be slowly blanketing the entire area.
As the darkness slowly creeps over, a sound very similar to gurgling blood seems to fill the entire area. He nods as he answers the strange voice, "Yes Ren, I permit you not only destroy the barrier but to crush almost all of their star gates. Leave only one."
Another set of gurgling blood sounds whistle in the air as if excitedly answer Hei's words. This creates a sense of deep crisis on the faces of Hei's relatives. Elsewhere in the clan, complete and utter darkness is the only thing that seemingly exists. This darkness gives off an aura of complete and utter emptiness.
Despair slowly crawls into the hearts of many so called powerhouses as children begin crying and wetting themselves in fear.
A black silhouette slowly appears. This familiar black silhouette seems to tower over everything and only the darkness itself seems to be over it.
The facial features of the giant are slowly revealed, that menacingly vicious and jagged smile, terrifying eyeholes like a bottomless pit and a darkness that bring about despair and a coldness that could never happen due to the absence of heat.
That jagged smile increases when it looks on the barrier trapping Hei. It then utters some words which seem to make everyone's hairs stand on end. Those gurgling blood sounds in Hei's ears however sounds like, "What a worthless and trashy barrier."
Ren simply flicks a finger and many jet black astral inscriptions actually manifest in the form of a gigantic hand, able to cover the heavens and earth with a single grasp.
The hand made from countless astral inscriptions simply holds the barrier with the index and thumb and gently pinches. The extremely powerful and almost impenetrable barrier actually cracks like glass without suspense.
Hei doesn't seem excited or even has a face of care. He doesn't even bat an eye at the barrier. Instead, he seems to be looking towards a black cat in the distance. The cat seems to have an extremely satisfied smile as it sends him a message.
"With the contract, I will find you so don't worry. You can teleport to wherever you want. I will impart you with some options."
It then sends him a mental message with many coordinates including ones to reach his great world and to reach great worlds occupied by many powers of the different races except these places are all not related to humanity at all.
Hei nods and looks forward. His grandparents and parents all have looks of shock and fear as they look on the terrifyingly gigantic silhouette. They all utter the word 'Colossan' with trepidation.
They suddenly remember the words Hei uttered about the star gates before. This makes them gulp. Liu Xuanhong shouts, "Don't destroy the star gates! Little Hei, make him stop!" A
ll over the clan, many astral inscriptions suddenly manifest and actually begin destroying the star gates which are quite expensive and useful. Hei walks off leisurely towards the closest star gate which Ren did not touch.
All 4 of the adults suddenly begin flying towards Ren in anger but even more so, apparent fear as they are unable to sense any sort of cultivation from them. They all actually release Astral Spirits. Liu Tian and Liu Xuanhong both release lightning type astral spirits.
The former release a massive lightning dragon which has its scales permeating with raw lightning while the latter releases a Kirin filled with a cloak of lightning.
Both their lightning seems to be the color of bright blue. Zhu Hong'er releases a spirit in the form of a flaming vermilion with 4 wings that looks majestic and heavenly while her father releases a spirit in the form of a smaller but more ferocious looking vermilion bird with 4 wings and much darker feathers that emits sharpness.
Ren doesn't seem to be bothered by their spirits being released. Hei still doesn't look on them. He only utters the words, "Keep them occupied."
Ren replies with the simple words, "Yes Master"; but to everyone else, it sounds like a horrifying voice from the netherworld. He flicks his fingers again and 4 gigantic hands formed from numerous astral inscriptions are formed once again. Ren slowly looks at the 4 persons trying to attack him which causes fear and despair to birth in their minds.
They quickly gather their thoughts and actually begin utilizing martial skills. Liu Tian and Liu Xuanhong both utter with a solemn tone, "Thunder Fist of Doom".
2 extremely powerful fist lights are manifested from pure lightning energy and fires off towards Ren. These fists resemble each other but the one from Liu Xuanhong seems more solid and brighter in color. The movement of these fist lights in the air actually makes space rip to pieces in a trail towards Ren.
Zhu Hong'er and Zhu Tianxuan both roar, "Fire Sword Burning Heaven Slash!" Two gigantic flaming swords are manifested which seems to desire the burning of space. The surrounding space slowly burns as the fire intensifies.
The swords both move off towards Ren with whistling and burning sounds. Space is unable to support such fearsome attacks and is constantly collapsing. Ren still doesn't seem to be affected at all. It simply stands there without a single movement.
The 4 massive astral hands are still manifested but have not moved to intercept the martial skills. Smiles of victory can be seen on the 4 of their faces as the similar thought of Ren being unable to block this creeps into the minds. This causes their confidence to soar through the roof as they regain some color on their faces.
Unfortunately, this confidence quickly turns to shock and despair when they notice their attacks finally reaching Ren, only to be devoured into his gigantic body. Gurgling sounds which slightly resemble laughter rings out.
Liu Xuanhong and Zhu Tianxuan both scream retreat quickly as the 4 astral inscription hands all shoot off towards them. They all scatter in different directions and break through space to escape but upon appearing, they notice the hands have also followed and caught up to them in an instant. The hands immediately grab their bodies which completely cover them.
No sound can be heard from those hands no matter how hard they attack. Not the slightest of scratches or shaking can be seen.
Hei leisurely walks to the star gate without much thought. The darkness in the sky seems to slowly increase as a few eyes can be seen from above in the pitch black darkness. These eyes all seem dark and terrifying as they stare at the entire clan with pure disgust.
Only when they eyes pass over Liu Hei do they reveal a look of reverence and respect. Hei finally arrives at the Star Gate. A few guards can be seen there but they simply ignore Hei. They instead look up at the barely visible dark eyes which are still observing the entire clan.
Small hands manifested from astral inscriptions quickly appear around the bodies of the guards and actually tosses them away like throwing out garbage.
"Thanks Ren, you can let them see what is happening but restrict their movements for now." Ren nods happily and the astral inscriptions in the gigantic hands slowly morph and actually cocoon the bodies of the 4 except for their head.
They all look on Ren with extreme fear that stems from the deepest parts of their hearts and souls. This kind of fear can only be developed from being utterly owned in battle. The cocoons slowly turn so they are able to face the star gate which Hei is currently at.
At this moment, he slowly puts in the coordinates. The star gate begins to glow with a brilliant light as it seems to establish a link between this space and another which is at a terrifyingly far distance from here.
"Goodbye relatives, that's if you all still take me as a relative. I will be kind and not cripple your cultivations. Be sure to take care of my little sisters or else, I will make sure the 'Liu Heavenly Astral Clan' and the 'Zhu Heavenly Astral Clan' both disappears forever."
"Make sure to tell your little friends from the 'Zong Heavenly Astral Clan' that if they think they can touch my sister then be prepared for their annihilation too."
"Little Hei…before…you go…I have a question."
Hei slowly turns to look on his grandfather Liu with an emotionless expression. "Speak" His grandfather grits his teeth and gathers his strength as he asks, "What is this Colossan and what is the relationship between you 2?"
Hei smiles for a bit but this smile makes him look extremely evil and sinister. He walks into the star gate which flashes with light as the warping process begins. The darkness immediately disappears as Ren also vanishes.
The astral inscriptions surrounding Hei's family also disappear. Everything seems to return to normal but Hei's fading voice can be heard with a simple reply which is the last words he leaves his family with, "A Friend."
