The Table Has Turned

Suddenly, the man in front of her stopped, a good thing she was still in her senses and she stopped right on time before she bumped into him.

"He's here," The man said, pointing at the cell on his left which is Briony's right since the man is already facing her. 

Briony turned her head and she heard a heart skip a beat when she saw him. 

She looked back at the man wearing full tactical gear, definitely, it was not his heart that skipped a beat. 

It was hers!

"Where is Sam's cell?" She asked, trying to calm her nerves. 

"Two cells from here," The man replied, pointing his finger behind him.

Briony nodded her head and then she looked back at the cell on her right. "Can I go inside?" She asked. 

The man contemplated for a moment but since Dr. Aldrich is not a dangerous man per se, she is sure that he will let her. And she was right because seconds later, she heard him speak.
