18 Wisp of Divinity.

The sun rose through the west, the first rays of light started bathing the land, at top of a small hill, a human figure was looking to the scene while playing with a little ball of golden light. More than a ball it could be called a speck, it was too small as for miss it if you weren't searching for it, in fact, Akin missed it a couple of time while searching, as he didn't knew that it was what he was looking for.

The golden speck of light was pretty common except by its color, Akin scanned it a couple of time with his Spiritual Sense while looking for the statue's secret but he didn't feel nothing at all. But still the golden color was totally out of place, with no more option that giiving it a shot, he used his soul power to extract it from the statue, and as soon as it was out, Botis, the spirit of his, went crazy.

"Hahahaha kid this time you struck rich, you may had wasted all the luck of your life just this single time". Said Botis excited while looking at the speck.

He even leave Akin arm to fly around the golden speck, the more he watched the more excited he grew but then he put on a regretful look. Akin was still wondering about how much he had missed, the golden speck was pretty but besides its color, he didn't find anything incredible about it but Botis had said he may had wasted all his luck, if he ever had any, just by finding it. And if it was so especial why the current look on his face?.

"Then, Botis, this is...". Akin was about to ask when he was interrupted.

"Hey kid there aren't more of this?" Botis asked a little expectating.

"No, this was..." Akin couldn't even finished his sentence again.

"A pity, a truly pity, if there were just a little more.." Said the snake and Akin was sure, the spirit would had shed tears if he could.

"Hey,kid, do you know what this is? Do you know what this is?" Asked the snake.

Akin didn't even had time of reply when Botis continued his talk.

"This is a wisp of divinity kid,the very origin of a god, if it would had been given more time, maybe a god would had born from it or at the very least, a divine spirit". When he said the last part from his face one could guess he was already daydreaming.

" But it is a pity, a pity! Its to small as for it to even had some awareness, but that is a good thing too, or you wouldn't had able to obtain it so easily. With its size it wouldn't be of any help for me". He sighed and sounded like sad at the end of his statement.

"But it should be a totally different thing for you, just refine it as you would refine any other kind of energy". With those words the snake returned to Akin's arm.

Akin was in a dazzle the whole time and whent he reacted Botis had long ago returned to his arm and no matter how he called, the snake didn't answer at all. There were so many things he wanted to ask but it was always like this, the little snake would give him a little of information about a theme, enough for him to know what he was facing but nothing more.

In fact, Botis was very knowledgeable when it came to mythical things, he was who led Akin during the past months, but the snake also ignored worldly affairs to an unprecedented level, it didn't even could difference between two birds, for it they were all birds, some smaller, others biggers.

Akin admired the snake a lot for how knowlegdeable it was, even when the snake didn't always told everything. He wondered how it adquired so much knowledge, did he watched the world from the stars? It shouldn't be or he would know more about mundane things, were all the spirits so knowledgeable? Akin was puzzled.

Looking the sunrise Akin recalled the images he saw in some point of the night, from the blessing, he guessed. He was transported to a battlefield again but this time he wasn't an almighty general but a soldier in the front lines. The preassure he felt from the beings around him was as if he was really standing in the battlefield, it was like drowning in the depths of the sea and then realizing how insignificant you were. If the first images he saw were how far he could reach with the blessings, the second was a reminder of were he still was.

Thanks to assimilating the blessing Akin's Soul Palace was built at last, well, it may be called Akin's Soul Hut for the moment as it didn't had any of the majestic a palace should, just the roughly outline. But this was enough to reafirm him in the next realm, which his soul reached not long ago.

With the increase in his soul fortitude, while Akin was lost in thoughts playing with the wisp of divinity, he suddenly realized something. He had neglected all this time how ignorant he was, after almost 15 years, or rather, a year and half in this world he still didn't know nothing of it, nor he even had a minimun understanding of all this mythicals things around him.

Even simplier, how did he accepted all of this as something normal from the very beggining? Don't he should had became crazy living alone for 10 years in total darkness accompanied by constants wails? Even before that, how was he able to see in the darkness at the beggining? And even before, how did the ring Ashtarte gifted him worked, how was the ring able to help him so many times and in such different ways? Could he had die when he binded his life to his brother or when he made the contract with Botis? Both times he just made an assumption based in a his instincts. And now even when he had learned something about soul power, he still didn't recognized the wisp of divinity, he didn't even knew what divinity truly was? More important, he moved so far because of revenge but he didn't even knew on whom he should took revenge.

Divinity? If real,it felt so far, even when he had walked down in the path more that what he could had dreamed. Maybe there was a way of bring her back, she said it was impossible but if she said gods were just powerful persons, she may had ignored if there were ways of doing so. He needed power to achieve anything but he could died in the road to became powerful just because of pure ignorance. It was common sense but as a general he lived it in his own skin and knew very well how important knowledge was, power could made things happen but without enough knowledge there weren't few the times when power lead to destruction or when even having power, things didn't happened the way one wanted.Yes, if power was a must, knowledge was even more needed.

With a thought the wisp of divinity flew inside Akin's Soul Realm, as he was about to refine it, his determination changed a lot, if he before wanted power, now he wanted knowledge even more, if someday he were to become a Divine being, he would be a god of knowledge.
