15 Thread of Destiny.

Akin was looking to the sun in the sky, rising through the west, the red colored light coming from it, iluminated the whole sky, tinted the clouds and reflected in the three moons. When Akin came here yesterday, there were just two moons, now there was another one appearing in the east. After a whole day, he got to knew the difference between his own estimation about time and the real time's flux in this place. Time here was little more than tenth times slower than in his previous world, meaning, it had been just a year since he came to Hell. It would take him a while before he could get used to the time flow.

Overnight he also gained a lot of knowledge about this world, as Botis, as it called itself, had been around since quite long time. And by 'around', he meant in the star, another curiousity was that the stars in the sky, weren't really 'stars' but Fated Stars. These star were bound to someone and they would shined as long as his fated one lived. Moreoever these star would shine more of less, depending on the being's destiny. More to say, any of these star could give born to an spirit as long as some condition were met, but Botis choose to say nothing about these conditions.

Thinking about the fire before, Akin asked to his spirit, 'did he absorb Fire of Fate or something like that?' But the little snake said he knew nothing or rather he didn't wanted to say it.

"Hey Botis, what is Fate?".

"Fate? How could i know? From what i has seen, is something that ought to happens and happens, regardless of place, moment or situation. It can be also like luck, good or bad, but when Fate can be luck, luck can't be Fate. But Fate can be changed too, or that is what is said, i am not sure, maybe changing your fate was your truly fate. That is what i know". Answered Botis.

After Akin heard to Botis he was wondering if Ashtarte death was her Fate, if he falling to this place was his Fate? If was so, then fate or destiny, or whatever was it name, wasn't an ally but a powerful enemy to defeat or tame. If destiny could be changed, he woud change it if not he would destroy it.This was the resolution which marked his 'destiny', but little he knew about the heights of Fate's powers.

"Botis, What is Faith, how do i get it?". Akin raised another hard question thinking about the needs of his soul cultivation manual.

"Faith?Kiddo couldn't you go easy on me?" Complaining a little the spirit.

After stating moments ago how incredible he was, and having Akin learning from him, he stop calling Akin, 'master', and instead treated him as a kid, and well he was in all his right as it would be need a great amount of 'grand' before the 'parent' to tell how much the seniority of both were far from each other.

"Faith, is the utmost confidence, the hope you put on something else which can grant that the result of something you want would be the one you expected. Faith is simply putting your Fate or part of it in someone else hand. As for how to get it, i don't know, what can you offer for someone to had you in such esteem". Botis answered adding a sarcastic remark at the end.

"Kid, why you don't put these complicated matters aside and focus on what its right in front of you. Your other partner is undergoing some kind of evolution, i thought. You should get some demonic beast's blood for him or you would run out of soul powers soon". Suggested Botis.

And the snake was right there wasn't nothing he could do about those topics now, it was for better to focus in what he could do. As for the demonic beasts , they were like the beasts of his old world but they could use the spiritual energy to strenghten themselves. After hearing the explanation the first time, he didn't understand why they were called demonic beasts rather than spiritual beast.

.....................................................

The man and the beast walked in circles, while staring at each other, from each of their point of view the one in front was his prey. Suddenly both moved forward, the paw from the cat-like figure aimed to tear down the human, the human just continued charging. As the human was about to get hit, he effortsless dodge the attack, and put his left hand over tiger's head. The next moment the tiger head was entirely frozen and with a single punch was blasted away, leaving some pieces scattered all over the place.

Akin picked the beast body and threw it inside his Shadow Space, where some black threads came out from the cocoon and started devouring the blood, meat, and remaining lifeforce from the body. Looking to the process, Akin felt more close to being able of engulf or absorb things using the darkness element.

.....................................................................................................

The battle looked seemed like a stalemate,it was a contest of pure strength and noone was willing to lose. The human held the boar's tusks while trying to push forward the more than 2 meters tall beast, the boar pushed forward trying to trample the ant which challenged his might.

Moments ago the both of them found each other, and charge at each other at the same time. The boar tried to lunge the human, the human tried to punch the boar. After both had send the other 'flying' a couple of time the battle came to a halt. After the last clash it looks as if noone of them could got over the other.

Akin was filled with delight, his body strength was able to compete with this monster head on, probing how much it had improved. Holding tightly the boar's tusk, he took a step forward, then he relaxed his body a bit and used the impulse from the boar to send it flying. Right after the beast fell to ground and spearhead pierce through its head. Having testing his strength there was no need to make this last longer.

.....................................................................................................

Over the past month Akin killed a lot of demonic beast, mostly cat-likes beasts, some boar-like beasts and a couple bird-like beasts. The reason behind this distribution? Unlike the others the cat-like beasts didn't run away but most of time, were they who came after him.

At the beggining was a little hard for him, as the beasts didn't fit in the Shadow Space entrance and he had to cut the beasts in pieces using his spear to feed them to his brother. Thankfully his domain over darkness improved and thus making the entrance bigger wasn't a problem anymore.

Another thing that make him eager was how his body improved in strength. Those red stars of him were marvelous, everytime he killed a beast they would absorb the soul of the beast automatically and refined it, but the best part was that it didn't not only give him soul power but also improved his body and spiritual energy. The only downside was that the amount of soul power or spiritual energy were low. Maybe if he were to consume more of those blessings...

Akin was underwater, eyes open wide, looking at how the light, the sky, the landscape was reflected on the water surface. This river was another of Akin discoveries over the last few weeks and maybe the most important of it. He didn't take a bath in so long that when he came to the river for the first time, he almost stpend a whole day inside. Even though he somehow used the air element to keep himself clean before, this was a totally different experience.

Completely submerged, Akin felt his problems melting away momentarily, the feeling of the water along with the sight from his eyes and his Spiritual Sense made him felt a peace that was hard to describe.

Coming up from below the water suface, Akin closed his eyes as to felt the moment, he didn't needed to do it, as even having his eyes wide open under the water didn't even bother him the slighty, but he missed the sensation. Opening slowly his eyes, enjoying the moment, Akin got stunned by the sight in front of him, the figure that ,as him, was slowly rising from below the surface.

Golden hair down to the waist, delicate features, white snow skin, obsidian-like black eyes, full erected bosom, pink colored nipples, slender like-snake waist, thick thighs and small feets. Right before his eyes, completely naked, was the paragon of beauty.

She was so beautiful as maybe just Ashtarte was, comparing her to a mortal woman felt wrong. But amidst all that beauty, the loneliness hiden behind her eyes made itself notice .From those women he had seen before, only Ashtarte beauty would be second to hers, and just Ashtarte lonileness would be second to hers.

Amazing was that despite she coming out from the water she wasn't wet nor any ripple was form in the water. Even when she was standing above the water surface no ripple could been seen. And even having her in front his eyes, in his Spiritual Sense there wasn't noone else here besides him.

She smiled slightly, maybe as to say she just curved up her lips, but that smile was enough as to threaten with taking his soul away. For no reason he blinked and when his eyes were open again she wasn't around, but he was feeling a gentle touch upon his cheek.

He wondered if all of this truly happened, and while he was lost in thoughts he failed to notice the horror in the snake eyes.
