22 First peer into destiny.

Learning has this, the more you know the more you will want to know, and the more you will behave matching what you know. Akin wasn't an exception, in the short amount of time passed since he start reading the content of the information he purchased, his personality changed completely. He was still him but there were many things he wouldn't be able to see again with the same light again.

But he couldn't be blamed, he had absorbed knowledge enough as if he would had lived one hundred and plus lifes. From Physics to History, from Arts to War Strategy, this was the same as the experience of one hundred plus life, of course he couldn't be the same, in fact, somehow he could be regarded as an old grandpa in the body of a youngster.

Life, Death, Love, Destiny, his understanding of everything improved and now looking to the beauty crouched over his body, drawing imaginary circles with her fingers in her chest, he was more than thankfully for life. And answering his own question "Of course this was destiny".

To others maybe he would be the ultimate bastard, feeling thankfully for life while enjoying the embrace of a woman, when he was alive thanks to the grace of another woman, if not a bastard, what was him?. But of course he was grateful, and of course this was destiny, everything that had happened to him up to this moment was destiny.

Getting to know a goddess in a mortal realm, having 'ascended' to an upper realm, having spending a year in a place full of soul power to absorb, being possesed and obtaining a high grade soul clutivation manual while still in that place, been able to firm a lifebound contract with a Hellhound, been able to ate a Burning Heart fruit, obtaining knowledge from a powerhouse related to the manipulation of the darkness elements, been able to form a pact with a Fated Spirit, absorbing low level blessings, finding a Wisp of Divinity, having Biba as his attendant.

Besides the blessings and Biba, any of these opportunity were worth more than ten times than the fifty thousands Soul Coins he had earned. Nevertheless the blessings allowed him to fortify his body which was clearly his biggest flaw and about Biba, how to said it, they felt attracted to each other from the beggining. It wasn't something like love or sexual attraction, even if they got there, it was more like enjoying each other company.

If it wasn't destiny what was it then? Maybe luck? What about from Biba's side?

She was a new 'employed' to the organization, even when se was beautiful, she was older than most of his peers and slighty less beautiful. When she was about to chose her first job, Akin's file was circulated, "Young Nephilim, inmortal soul cultivation of third level and energy cultivation of first level, searching for information, Recommended: A mid aged female attendant".

It didn't sound that wondrous but she had a feeling, and decided to take the bet. Who would thought, this customer of her would make a purchase of forty thousands Soul Coins and even aske her to be his private attendant for over a year? The best? this customer treat her as the lady she was and seemed as he didn't had any weird fetish. Furthermore, she had this indescribable feeling standing by his side, this feeling that made her wish she could stay by his side forever.

A two sided event and both extremes were incredible 'lucky', this wasn't luck anymore but destiny, at least that was the convention. And about the attraction both felt, for Akin should be the clear soul Biba possesed something hard to come by in Purgatory, as she was a mortal she was an open book for Akin, and for Biba the soul ondulation Akin was emitting which calmed her down and 'warmed' her soul.

Still looking at the naked Biba, a scene came to Akin's mind.

A sunray falling over his eyes waken him up, lazily opening his eyes he moved his head aside to avoid the sunray his sight was by a naked she, with her hair all messy, crouched over his chest. A little smile blossom in his lips and he extended his left hand as to touch her face but stopped the moment before. She wake up as if she felt his hand and displayed the most beautiful smile he had ever seen, before moving her head to his still mid-air hand. Next, he started caressing her cheeks and with her smile becoming mischevious she grabbed his most intimated part...

That was a fragment from Habib's memories, the longing feeling which was growing inside him for some time now reached the point in which he couldn't endure it longer. He needed to go back and find 'his' wife, take care of her, love her or just seeing her, but he needed to know of her.

"What are you thinking about?". Asked Biba to the absent-minded Akin.

"Nothing, is just that i will had to left soon". He said making somekind of excuse as his stay here would end soon anyways.

"It is okay, just remember you should came back for this year auction at least, there maybe be something that caught your eyes". She didn't pursued the matter nor had any reason to do that and instead reminded Akin of something.

"Of course,i will come back i hadn't had enough of you yet". Said Akin teasing Biba while squeezing one of her buttocks.

"Humm, you better do, i don't want to see my earnings dropping". Replied she.

"Oh, your earnings? let me give you some tips then". He said before moving her below and pounced at her again...

Stepping out of the building, the sun was in the middle of the sky already, the sunrays falling over his skin felt like life itself. Looking at the building at his back, he couldn't help but recall everything that happened the day before and felt puzzled at how fast life could change.

This thing called 'destiny' was enigmatic, it took Ashtarte from him but somehow seemed as it had paved his path to revenge, and maybe beyond. Would he be able to find a way to bring her back or avenge her or would he fall before even trying? Enigmatic as it was, destiny had become just a foe more to beat, just that a hard one.

And Akin was maybe about to gain enlightenment when the annoying voice of Botis bring him back to reality. 'Was this destiny too or just bad luck' Akin asked himself.

"Hey kid, you had gone for quite time, how was it? Do you got something good? I can't sense the wisp of divinity anymore on you, had you traded it for something?...". In just seconds Botis raised tens of questions, if Akin were a normal human he wouldn't be able to even remember them let alone answering.

Akin looked at this spirit of him, unknown thoughts running through his head as doubt and curiosity took over him.

"I didn't won much, but i got a map and a fragment from a cultivation manual, besides that maybe... Oh!!!". Akin just mention a thing or two when he became surprised and started walking to what caused his surprise.

"Hey kid where are we going, you haven't told me yet..." Botis started expressing his displeasure with Akin who was 'deliberately' ignoring him.

Near the city market Akin's Spiritual Sense found something or rather someone, which made him recall his childhood. In the darkness of an alley, surrounded but all kind of dirt there was a squalid old man dressed in ragged clothes. His hair was more than a mess and his body wasn't too far from that, but he had an majestic beard and an imposing gaze which may look as cruel but was full of wisdom.

This old man made Akin recall the elder from his village, as they looked almost the same, and one of his regrets in life as he couldn't save anyone at that time. After scramming the others beggars from the alley Akin stood in front of the old man who stare at him with curiosity.

"Hi there, just...take this". Said Akin passing to the old man the bag with the gold coins he obtained from razing the goblin city.

No matter how many things he thought of, at the last moment he couldn't came up with an acceptable excuse nor he needed, he wasn't just untying a knot in his heart but he was doing it because he wanted to do it, what was the need for uncertain words.

"I will take my leaving old man, shall we meet again". With those words Akin bid his farewell to the old man and this city.

He wasn't worried about someone taking the money from the old man as the peope from the military were following all the time and after hearing they conversation when he entered the city, he was sure they would do they utmost for no making an enemy of him. Furthermore when he looked at the old man's soul, besides the feeling of someone who had lived to much, be it good or bad things, and still was able to kept himself , Akin also felt a faint urge to revere the old man as if he was in front of a great existence.

This time again Akin failed to see the terror on Botis face as they were standing in front of the old man, it seemed as if Akin's Spiritual Sense was deliberately avoiding the snake.

Still sitting in the alley, looking at the bag of coin the old man smiled. Lifting his gaze he looked to the place where Akin leave as if his gaze was able to see the distant Akin.

"Hahahaha, interesting, truly interesting, shall we meet again youngster, if destiny allow it".
