34 First Blood.

"Captain, it is this truly a must?. We can wait for the empire to send troops". Someone tried to complain.

"This is our duty, you all know of this as well as i do, if this is another Crimson Age then no matter what, sooner or later our lives would be put on the stakes as for our own bad luck the enemy appeared between our borders. Since facts are like this we can as well fulfill our duty and serve as scouts". Explained the captain about their current mission.

"I do understand captain, but-". Tried to persuade the soldier.

"Enough, this is my order, whoever try to squall his duty shall be punished accord to the laws". Said with an imposing voice the captain.

"Listen up everybody, please don't misunderstand the captain, we won't be facing the enemy, this is just a reckon mission after we finish we will go back and wait for the king's orders. God's teach stated that the enemies has varying strength if we are lucky, the enemy this time maybe would be a weak one and after our kingdom's victory we may also win a own Sky Radiance Tower". Explained the lieutenant while trying to boost the party's moral.

When most were afraid of this invasor from the skies the temptation of a Sky Radiance Tower was worth enough of the risk, not only did the inhabitants of Brilliance city had a slight large lifespan but its live quality improved a lot too. Putting aside all the inventions coming out from the tower, just by living in the city your body was impreaved to most of the diseases.

Under the hot summer sunlight a group of knights rided to the impact point of the meteor, it was likely the enemy should be near the zone if they were able to scoutthe enemy strength they would had done a great deed, the captain was aware of it, he was one of those who was a fan to the story of the previous Crimson Age an read a lot about it thinking about the day when he could engage in battle with such enemy, moreover from the records of the revious time he knew that when the enemy was surpass at fighting it wasn't like that when it come to pursuing or scouting as many people were able to run from it in battles.

"Wouldn't you will forget us after this mission ends". The lieutenant teased the captain in a low voice.

He was clear about what the captain was doing, this was pure greed just scouting the enemy position and posible combat power would redender him a huge service, once he delivered the info to the higher ups he would get a better life, if after all this end he were still alive, anyways if he didn't make it out as long as the kingdom were abe to survive his family would life a glorious life.

Nevertheless the lieutenant wasn't worried because he was also part of this group when his reward may not be as big as the captain's it wouldn't be a cheap thing either.

"How coul i forget about you, if i were to ascend to the stars its because you are the firmament below me". Replied the captain with a 'sincere' tone."Besides, you also know-".

Just as the captain was about to continue defending his righteous self, a cutting sound was heard followed by the warm blood sprayed over the lieutenant face as the different parts of the captain's body were seen flying.

Not just the captain body was blasted apart but even the body of one of his personals guard who rides behind him was blasted too.

Before the lieutenant had time to think about what happened another cutting sound was heard and an agudo pain invaded his body before his vision sunk into darkness. Those around him were able to see as the scattereds part of his body were also sent flying.

Without time to think or even frighten the same cutting sound was heard a couple of times again and almost all the 20 or so knights had been decimated, this was one of the downside of formations.

Unknown when, a human figure appeared in middle of the road, he seemed lost in thoughts and it wasn't until the group of knights was a little more than 50 meters ahead that he moved for first time.

After years in Hell, Akin knew his strength had soared a lot but he didn't knew to what extend, now after seeing the result of him just throwing some rocks he felt pleased and depressed at the same time.

Compared to when he was a normal mortal, as those in front of him, he had walked a long way, this made him felt greatly delighted but when he thought of Astharte's killers he couldn't remain calm, he was still as weak as a cub despite how much he had walked down the path.

For now it was for the better to had a proper 'conversation' with the two remaining enemies so he could make preparations to fight his first life or death battle but before he would kill the horses,since he fused totally with Habib his hunger has soared even more that his strength in some moments he got to think he was a bottomless pit.

The frightened horses which were about to run were cut apart suddenly before some snake-like shadows engulfed them, at the center of those shadows in mid of the scattered body parts, in the blurred vision of the two remaining knights, a human figured appeared holding the captain sword.

With a waves of his hands Akin collected the souls of the dead knights, which were covered by his Heaven's Vault before being throw inside his Soul Realm. While doing so, thanks to his Spiritual Sense Akin could see the look on the eyes of the two dying knights,'Ah, that hate' he thought.

No matter how many time he had seen it, those stares reflecting the hate born deep inside a person was one of the things worth seeing in life, it was like expressing a unyielding will, the must of one of two to dissapear because both couldn't exist under the same heaven.

A shame they couldn't talk, there weren't enough strength in their body, but who knows maybe he could learn what they were cursing after performing Soul Search.

Said Akin politely before performing Soul Search in the two remaining knights, if having part of your body blasted hurts beyond words, death was the only show of mercy for two in which Akin was performing Soul Search. Because Akin proficiency hadn't reach the stage in which he could do this search smoothly, both knights felt their soul being ripped apart.

'An interisting world'. Thought Akin after ending his search, he was told he would be the enemy of the world, but they could had told him more explicit they would be waiting for you.

'Heros, eh?' wondered Akin, as if the numbers alone weren't a problem they also had some troublesome characters even when those two never had seen one of those heros they were renowed for had a strength alike to living gods.

With a good mood Akin dived into the sky as he needed to let this place behind, this kingdom's army would be reaching soon and he needed a quiet place to undergone his first life or death battle.
