30 Doppelgänger.

"Feels weird".

"We both are me but still i am the one in charge".

The odd talk was sustained between a person and a dark, gauzy figure which resembled the former.

"Hahahaha" Both laughed at the same time after exchanging a brief stare.

The black figure could be called a spirit, a soul based life or a living shadow, as it was born from Akin's shadow, blended with his spiritual energy and his soul force, nevertheless most people liked to call it Doppelgänger.

In some worlds of the mortal realm a Doppelgänger was a bless, in others it was a curse, in the middle and upper realms it was just when your soul seeped and blended with the spiritual energy around. Of course this proccess would take a great amount of time and it was about luck if a Doppelgän?ger would born or not.

How Akin gave born to a Doppelgänger? It was thanks to the homonym technique which he bought from Mammon's Greed, together with a book about Golem creation and another referring to puppets. His reasons? He would be leaving soon for a long time and needed some company for Neith and a way of protection for her too.

When a Doppelgänger wasn't as strong as a high grade golem or puppet, it was cheapier and easy to improve. It wasn't that Akin lacked 'money' but if he were to spend a great part of his remaining saves in a high grade golem or puppet, he wouldn't had enough money as to keep Neith inside of Mammon's Greed. The election was clear, he prefered for she to stay inside of the branch of Mammon's Greed than any other way of protection, that was a plane possesed by the company and under the protection of a God, where would you be more safe than there?

Furthermore, the Doppelgänger as a living being in his own could grow stronger and use all of Akin techniques as it was born from him and they were deeply connected. But the more important thing, it was the same as Akin being by her side, he could still kept his role as father and pursuit power at the same time.

The technique wasn't that popular because you needed to spend to much time creating the Doppelgänger or instead severing a piece of your soul, which could cause a damage to your soul but thanks to the weird form of Akin's soul because of his soul cultivation technique severing a piece of his soul wasn't a problem and also thanks to Akin's soul cultivation technique his Doppelgänger wasn't a normal one.

After 'diggesting' the wisp of divinity Akin didn't light a spark of divinty as he didn't had knowledge about what the wisp of divinity was useful for, but he did gain a bit of Divine Sense. It was like a improved form of the Spiritual Sense but unlike this, it could exist independent of Akin's soul and Akin still could get information from it.

When Akin was testing the uses of the Divine Sense out of curiosity he send a bit of it inside of Krieg's star inside of his Soul Realm. The result? After some time he could see everything in a couple of meters around Krieg and even 'talk' with him. After some more time passed, and with the glimpse he got to the advanced uses of soul, he came to understood why the subjects of the Heaven's Empire didn't die.

It happen that the stars inside his Soul Realm which represented a determinated being, could be called twin stars. When you used your Divine Sense in one of those stars it would turn in a perfect copy of that, inside of your subject, which grew by using his soul force. In other words, the star inside your subject soul realm was a copy of his soul, and the star inside your Soul Realm was a copy of the former star, a copy of your subject soul, if your subject were to die you could revive him anytime.

Of course Akin was far behind the level in which he could make a copy of his subjects souls, much less reviving someone but the insights gained from it was enough for him to made a perfect copy of his soul which was his Doppelgänger. If he were to die in the future as long as his Doppelgänger was alive he could came back in the future or that were his thoughts.

Akin was examining his 'self copy' when the door of the room opened and hastened footsteps were heard.

"Daddy, daddy, uncle said me that you were coming o u t...". The words of the always happy Neith became slower until stopping as she saw the gauzy shadow floating besides his father.

"Oh, its my princcess afraid?". Asked Akin while moving to Neith and rising his left hand to caress her head.

Following next she hugged tighly Akin's leg and asked with a small voice. "Father, what is that?".

"I am also you father". Replied the gauzy figure instead of Akin.

Hearing the known voice Neith opened wide her eyes looking to Akin with a inquiring gaze.

"Hahaha, its okay Neith that is part of your father's powers, aren't i incredible?". Asked Akin with a proud smile while lifting Neith.

"It wouldn't hurt me?". Asked a little scared yet Neith.

"Of course not, i am also your father girl". Replied the black figure which unnoticed was already besides Neith.

"Aaaaaah.." Screamed Neith noticing the figure by her side.

"Scared of me? Let me teaching a lesson". Said Akin's Doppelgänger before starting making tickles to Neith.

"No,no,no, stop, stop....". Said Neith between laughs and minutes after she had already forgotten about the black figure being scary.

"Aren't any of you going to eat today". Asked with a soft voice Biba who was standing by the door since a couple of minutes ago.

"Mommy! You had to scold father, that black person was bullying me and he didn't help me". Said Neith who had already escaped from Akin's arms and was running to Biba.

"Humm, don't worry my child, i will make sure to punish him tonight". Said Biba while lifting Neith. "Now, why you don't go and wash yourself before eating". Said Biba after kissing the little girl cheeks and putting her in the floor again.

"Mmm,okay mom". Said happily the child as she started running again.

"I will wait for the punishment". Teased Akin to Biba who was still looking at the dissapearing Neith.

"Congratulation for succeding". Tried to change the theme Biba with a little red in her cheeks.

"Hahaha, lets go eating". Suggested Akin.

"Lets go". Replied Biba.

'A shame this life came too late, i just hope i can kept it for a little longer'. Though Akin with unkown emotion in his gaze while following Biba.
