"Hahaha, the hunt was great this time, we may as well get some blessing from the Gods"

"It sounds good to me , more blessings more strength, more strength more money, hahaha"

" What about we spend what left in the Illusory Dream?"

After the last suggestion everyone went daydreaming, this was a vast world, they didn't even knew the extensiveness of it, but it was say that no matter where you go, there would be a side branch of Mammon's Greed and one of the Illusory Dream.

It was say, that those behemots were established by two Gods itself. In one you could bought anything as long as you had the money, in the other any dream you had could become true, momentarily at least. More important the hostesses were all beauties out of this world, and if you were more interested in the sweetness of reality with just a little more of money you would be more than satisfied.

They still couldn't enjoy what 'reality' had to offer but after this round of blessing many thing would change, maybe there would be a day when their dreams will really become true.

They snapped out of their daydreaming quickly as this wasn't the best place for being distracted, the demonic beasts around weren't strong enough as to decimate them, even if they were caught by surprise, but getting wounded wasn't an enticing idea.

As they moved foward a human figure suddenly appeared in their path, this wasn't a unique event, as this was a hunting zone, from time to time you could find another hunting party. But this person was all by his own, his clothes were all ragged and looked old, his body while in shape seemed dull, and the smell coming from him told he didn't bathed in a long time.

'How could a beggar be here, was this a trap?' they all thought.

But who would wanted to make a move against them, they weren't the richest around nor they had any enemies, living at least.

"Hello there." Spoke the beggar first.

"Hello, friend" Replied cautious Banei, the leader of the group.

"Do you know where this is?" Asked the beggar.

"May our friend don't know where we are?" Asked Banei as to reassure himself and quickly answered ."This is the Nedea forest, in the Kingdom of Beresh ".

"Are you alone? What about your party members? Where did you came from?" This time was Banei the one asking.

"I don't know, i suddenly fell sleep, when i woke up i was here already" Replied honestly the beggar, and maybe to lazily.

The conversation went out for a while, as the two bands were exchanging questions and answers, the beggar was interested in what this place was, the spokesman of the party in who the beggar was.

"May you point me in which direction is the closest city?". Inquired the beggar after having a rough understanding of the zone.

"Oh, we are also heading back, you can join us, it will still take a day of time getting there, besides some help will come handy to us, doesn't you think so guys?" Say the leader putting some emphasis in 'join' and 'help'.

"Yes" "Of course, it will do" The other two replied back.

"I shall join you guys then". Accepted the beggar.

The group passed a bag to the new 'recruited' member and followed their path. The travel was full of chitchat as the two differents parts were trying to learn, one more from the other part, the other part more from the places arounds. The old members of the party exchanged looks all along the way as if they could talk through their gaze, while the new addition was simply looking dumbfully everything around.

Night came 'soon' and they decided to set a camp, moving through the night wasn't the clever idea, and thus everyone got assigned a task to hastening things and the newcomer was to collect wood for the bonfire.

"What do you thinks guy?" Asked Benai after sending the beggar away.

"His circumstances are quite rare, he may be someone who some people wanted to get rid of, maybe some rich playing a game, they bring him here into the forest and left him to his own luck. Maybe he was to be used as lure for some demonic beast and was able to run away, or maybe he is just someone wandering around, there are too many posibilities as to guess". Opined Eloh after reviewing what they knew.

His assumptions were based in the facts that beggars disapearing from the streets weren't rare events, many people with some power had strange likes and from time to time some history about beggars being used for some sorts of games would travel across their land. As for using someone as lure, they themselves had done it before, many hunting parties had done so.

"It would be hard to guess, but something is sure, his strength is lacking and as you should had noticed too, he hasn't received any blessing". Pinpointed Miha about a critical point,

This had another meaning, someone without blessings was the same as nothing. Nobody knew when the peope started to receive blessings but as for today that was the norm, everyone from poor to rich, who wanted power would do their utmost for receiving some blessings, the more the better.

"Then what are your thoughts?" Asked their leader.

"We can sell him as slave, we won't gain nothing from bring him back, enmities maybe, if we dwell in others people affairs and we don't have any other use for him". Said Miha.

In Mammon's Greed you couldn't just bought everything but you could sell anything as long as it was profitable, and the slave market was one of those. More to been said, the were always stocks for humans slaves and they were always wanting to increase their stocks.

"It's okay for me, just let me have my way with him first, i think that after a bath he should be acceptable". Said Eloh after the inquiring looks of his partners, lust filled his eyes.

He quite enjoy dominating others, seeing his gaze filled with terror, hearing them asking for mercy. But he couldn't 'break' the beggar, a broken good couldn't be sold for much.

"Hahahaha, you don't change your ways". Laughed Banei.

"Yes, not even a little bit". Added Miha.

A scorching heat pulled Banei out of his joy, his attention drawed to the hole in the chest of his two partners. These holes were very small as made for a spearhead, and were perfectly alined, the flesh around the holes was charred so blood didn't even flowed out. Before he could even got grasp of the situation, his mind blacked out as he was sent into the eternal darkness. An shabby figure came from behind a tree slowly approached to the bodies.

(Half a day back)

Akin was lying in the grass when the sound of footsteps came to his ears, soon he heard voices too. Three people were walking in his direction, this was a great opportunity as he didn't had any idea of what this place was. Having a better understanding of the area was a must, he now needed a plan of what to do in the future as his never ending supply of soul power was no longer available He only hoped the language he learned from Habib's memories was the same the group spoke.

But as the group neared, Akin mood worsen drastically, he wondered before how such a beautiful place could be regarded as an evil place, now he believed he may had the answer before him.

Since the insane increase in soul force he suffered in the last 'five years', he was very susceptible to soul affairs now. And as for those three in front of him, he could see through them as crystal clear water in a river shore.

Scanning their souls, he felt disgusted, as someone who lived for many years in the battefield, the aversion didn't come from seeing people who had killed, robbed, raped and done these kind of stuff. He didn't like doing these but he, himself, had done a pretty good number of these kind of deeds before.

The disgust he felt came from seeing someone who entirely forgot his own moral, the kind of people who didn't hold nothing in high regards. He disliked those kind of people the most and to his own, maybe bad luck, the first three person he found were of those kind.

But he needed information, hypocritically he would had to cast his disgust aside.

"Hello there" He greeted first.

"Hello, friend" Replied the man in the middle cautiously.

The conversation last for a while, and the wariness in the other party members's eyes was decreasing with every moment. After some time he gained a rough understanding of the area around, and was about to leave when he was proposed to join them, as it seemed they were going in the same direction.

Before departing they gave him a bag, filled with remains from what they called demonic beast he guessed. As the party moved forward they began chitchatting with each other, Akin casually answered they questions, and raise one or two of his own.

As he moved Akin felt how heavy the bag was, he could use his soul power to 'lighten' the bag weight but decided to use the chance to do some physical excersises as he didn't do any besides walking for the last 'ten years'.

Akin was curiously looking to landscape along the way, so his sight wasn't focused in the persons around him, but with his Spiritual Sense how could he miss the testing gaze of his new 'partners', which then started to change at those of greed and lust?

As the night neared they decided to stop and set up a camp and Akin was tasked with looking for wood for the bonfire. As he leave the camp behind, the three people started scheming but how could Akin with his senses not heard what they were talking about, if just alone with his Spiritual Sense was as if he had never leave the camp.

Regretting, Akin made the first move, the little ball of fire pierced two of the party members, as they were alined with him. With another thought the second ball of fire went throught the leader's head. In just a moment he lost his source of information and two of the five stars he had formed fo far in his Star Cloak.

When he heard about the blessings he decided to put an end to the matter. He didn't knew what the blessings were but if they allowed simple mortals to hunt for fierce beasts with just swords and spears he couldn't take the gamble. Akin sighed as he approached to the bodies, he always knew they intentions weren't good but he was expecting to never reach this point.

If all people in hell were like these, having souls like these, maybe there were concordance between the Hell he read about and the true Hell.
