8 Seven

Deal upon entering through the door was again impressed by the design of the room.

White marble-like walls with intricate symbols spanning them in a circular motion, creating a wave-like look. The interior was very plain yet again elegantly mysterious. There was a white crystal shining in the center of the room and below it was a slightly raised square platform.

Getting the hint, Deal went forward and sat down in a meditative pose. He could have just stood but decided to look cliche and solemn. His desire for his old human body was shown in his actions as though the joy of moving his limbs was lacking in his new life.

Though the situation didn't stay so stable after he sat down.

The mysterious symbols flashed a light and all shot towards Deal who was not expecting much. The move from the room, left him stunned as he felt these dangerous beams of energy pouring into his body and scanning his every nook and cranny. *Sweats spiritually*

He felt nothing at first but while he was enduring the stream of energy, his spiritual body was starting to burn and distort. The pain that came along with it was nothing to ridicule as it was a trillion times more painful than what he had gone through with his slime body.

He felt like parts of his body was being severed by the space in between his own atoms, his face kept distorting between young and old and withered as well as his very soul trembling under this immense pressure.

As he was in a daze of pain and suffering. The mysterious symbol from the book once again appeared above his head with a dangerous glow which affected the room in its entirety.

The room almost shivered back from the invisible pressure that symbol created. The symbol disappearing again shortly after.

"Huh. He survived." The elder mumbled.

"..." Deal was very well aware of his surroundings when that voice was heard.

He had just been cut off from the room, he had learned some things in his soul-searing pain.

"Torture doesn't leave, huh?" Deal slowly said through while his spiritual existence calmed down from the shock.

"Oh, he can speak too. Odd..." The elder mumbled audibly again.

"You probably thought I would die eh?" Deal said as he looked onwards through squinting eyes.

"Indeed, you surprised me. Knowledge of our legacy is #$%#ing ridiculous. Our young ones are trained from birth to understand, and finally, the legacy isn't so hard to fully learn. You #$%^ed every notion of normal I had left at this point. That says a lot, little shit." Minu scoffed.

Deal had no way of understanding this completely new side to this tiny grandpa, "You old bag of shit!"

"W..what did you call me?" Now the old Minu became flustered at the most recent insult he has gotten in quite, and I mean quite a long while.

"You heard me. You knew yet you let little me agree to help your god damned descendants but plot to kill me!" Deal said through gritted teeth and eyes seething from an oddly yet calm before the storm like presence.

"You agreed to yourself, you little bastard shit. Did you even ask me whether you're ready for this? Ever occur to you that I thought you were confident, yet you without any request for guidance zoom into the room? Bastard little shit." Minu said with a grievance. However, you could almost feel ridicule in them.

'This bastard is plotting against me. Screw his old saggy behind!' Deal's inner thoughts were quite clear on how to proceed.

The only benefit from this near death-causing procedure. Deal had learned an oddly new type of information within his mind. The knowledge of space, time and spirit were not written or orally communicated information. It was rather a weird instinctual feeling. Similar to an emotion that just lingers in the back yet is always present. Human consciousness tries to be aware of every passing moment yet also stays available in the background.

Time is ever-present on mortal creation.

Space is forever the glue that holds life and existence within itself.

Spirit is the active flow similar to the thoughts that live within our brains and awareness.

Ever-present principles that live within our world as they affect us and us, them.

"I may have not asked but isn't a teacher supposed to point out a students ignorance?" Deal retorted to the BS grievant tone the old fart Minu was using.

"What? When did I ever agree to be a teacher, especially to someone I barely know?"

"Old fart, what am I lacking to be your student?"

"Of course. You're too big for one. You look like a monkey. I doubted intelligence the first moment I laid eyes on you. Finally, you look stupid and I get a slightly creepy vibe from you." Minu started naming things the moment he got a chance as if the years of silence finally got to him. He kept naming this and that to satisfy his need to be righteous and his lack of a speaking partner.

"..." Deal was speechless, so much that, for a moment, he even lost consideration for the incredible pain he just went through.

"Hehehe." Deal started chuckling after an hour of intense silence.

The old little elder waited patiently as though an hour was but a brief second without a sound. His face was calm and serene after satisfying his urge to speak. Yet the moment the chuckling started even his age wised self couldn't get rid of the feeling of something ever so minutely creepy.

"What are you thinking?" Minu asked.

"I'm going to do something satisfying. The best part is you will help me achieve it." Deal answered.

"Huh? Guess he lost it." Minu said while turning to face his back to Deal before muttering... audibly.

The smile on Deals spiritually tortured face deepened at those words sending the first-ever chills in seven point nine million years to the ever sagely elder.

"Hey great sage, how do you constrain space from nodes made of rocks?" Deal suddenly asked while shifting the topic effortlessly to the guy who hasn't had a talking partner in ages.
