As soon as the computer starts, I immediately connect it with the wires to my laptop.

Meanwhile, Shinhye looks at the camera together with the tripod emotionally down. I did notice the equipment from the start so I expected to witness the moment.

While hacking for the password and, hopefully, some files, I tell her a bit of a story to reverse the emotional effect.

"Let me tell you a story."

Shinhye responds, "A story, Mr. Lee?"

I start the story off with a group of students who were such assholes back in my UCLA days. They would act jerky to anyone who would stand in their way… well anyone basically. They acted like they're kings. Seriously, they're college students and they should act like one.

At one point, one of my friends was not able to eat lunch because his was taken by them without asking.

Shinhye says it's cruel. How can it not be?

So I had this idea to expose them.

At a later period, I was able to hack the leader's laptop he used for their presentation. I was in the back seat, of course.

Shinhye is curious to know what happened next.

What I did was that I copied the PowerPoint file he was going to present, edited it with the video clips of their filthy acts I had chances to record, and replaced the original file.

As it was his turn, things went good for him at the start. Reason was that I left the first few slides as they were and edited the rest. He pressed the right arrow to the next slide containing the clip of the earlier incident. He noticed it right away and quickly pressed to the next slide. It had another video of him and his goons beating the hell out of innocent students. Again, he noticed it right away and quickly pressed to the next slide. It did not go to the next slide because I already took full control of his laptop. He kept spamming the button until he immediately closed the PowerPoint.

He thought he was gonna get away with it. I started to display the clips to the projector screen one by one. Of course, he tried to close all of them then spam the desktop button (the one you can see at the extreme right part of the taskbar) but no avail.

Panicked, he swiftly unplugged the HDMI cable from his laptop. However it was too little too late for him as everyone in the room saw everything I displayed to the screen.

What happened to him, you ask? Shinhye also has the same question.

Teacher saw the clips, others saw the clips, he got exposed. Next thing in the morning, boom! Kicked out! And up to this day, no one still has an idea about the hack.

Shinhye is so amazed by the story. Every time she curiously asked, she would gasp. "Omo, you managed to kick out the bad guys?"

I respond, "It was a lesson to be taught. Besides, I wanted to try out my skills."

Wondering about the origin of my hacking skills, she questions, "Where did you exactly learn how to hack?"

I answer, "Well, I learned it from one of my friends who was a computer science student. I was so eager about it he decided to teach me. Said there will be no setbacks as long as it was between us. Not anymore though ince I just told you."

While where I got the skill is false, it is true that I did hack the jerk's computer to ruin his presentation and got expelled from UCLA. Since his conspirators were in the videos, they were also expelled as well. It was perfect for a skill test. It was also satisfying to witness that guy's peeing on his pants.

It's fair to say Shinhye and I are even. She told me her secret, I told her my secret.

Actually, no. Some of it was a lie. I'm sorry, Shinhye.

But pity as I am, I decided not to tell Mr. Yang about her case. I was really hesitating on informing him earlier. I fell like him butting in would be a bad thing.

"Promise me you won't tell anyone about my story," I tell her.

She replies, "Even the teachers?"

I titter and reply back, "Even the teachers."

I just managed to break in the computer's system and found the videos of them... ugh…

I look at Shinhye fresh from hearing my story. I think it would be wise not to show her even the thumbnails of the videos.

I open every video file to check. This and her testimonies will be key to stop this mofo.

Shinhye notices the videos on the monitor and I immediately tell her, "You can look away if you want to."

"I-it's okay, Mr. Lee," she counters.

I insert a flash drive to my laptop and copy the files from the computer. Just in case, I copy it to my storage as well.

As I copy the files to the flash drive, I notice a folder named 'Job'. I can't help but to open the folder as well. It has security so I attempt to breach it. And it worked.

Let's see what's inside...

What the? What in the world is this?

Bunch of data, locations, bank accounts, transactions... list of people… guns?

These are files a crime syndicate would have!

So Kang Jaeshim is part of a syndicate?

I immediately turn my head to Shinhye while puzzled whether I should tell her this or not.

"What's wrong," Shinhye asks, looking at my worried expression. I immediately return calm and tell her that nothing is wrong.

Hmmm...

This is news to me. Though the folder name says 'Job', his membership with a syndicate is not clear to me yet.

I copy the folder as well but to my laptop. I want to check more of the files.

No wonder why he doesn't allow Shinhye to go in. She might sniff around when she's here.

But think about it, this is a terrible location for hacking.

Guy's not here, saying he's at work. If hacking for a syndicate is his job, then he must be using a computer right now to do so. This computer I'm currently hacking is just one of more computers he's using. And it's obvious because they must have something like an HQ or a base. He must also have a laptop with him. Data also must be incomplete.

Ugh, this room stinks. I don't know how long I'm gonna last with this foul smell.

Finally, I'm done with copying the files. I eject the flash drive and give it to Shinhye.

I notify her, "These are the clips. Hide them well." She nods in reply.

Worried about the activity, she queries, "Do you think oppa won't find out?"

"I made sure my hacks were masked in case he detects. Also, don't clean this room."

Everything's done. I pack up my things and bid my student a farewell as I go home to check the files in the 'Job' folder.
