27 Halloween

Jake, unlike Daniel, felt unashamed when he projected a 16-year-old anime girl wearing a sailor uniform on his own body. The second Daniel saw his best friend, he had the urge to bleach his eyes out just to get the imagery out of his head. Unfortunately, it was too late. The memory has already been etched deep within his mind, unable to be forgotten for the rest of his life.

From his ostentatiously huge breasts, at least the size of a D cup, while wearing a white shirt, with the buttons looking as though it was about to burst any time soon, one would be able to peek through the hole in the middle and somewhat see the pink bra tigthly wrapped inside.

Jake's skirt was short enough that his panties would definitely be revealed once he started walking, even when the wind wasn't blowing his way. Fortunately, he seemed to have at least added a PG-13 status on his projector, allowing for everything under his skirt to be shaded in a deep grey color, thus serving as a non-erotic fanservice for all those hormonal otaku teenagers, who would ocassionally give Jake a second glance, especially when they were walking up the school staircase from behind.

When Daniel gave Jake a weird look, he simply shrugged and answered the questions within Daniel's mind. "Why would I be offended by the boys trying to take advantage of me? Jake gave a rather insidious laugh, making all the boys nearby, including Daniel, shiver in fright. Some of the boys who wanted to look under Jake's skirt just now immediately turned pale when they realized Jake's gender, looking as though they were trying to stop their urge to vomit right in front of the classroom.

To that, Jake simply gave a sneer before altering his voice to that of a cute idol girl as he exclaimed, "My, my. Look at all these boys oggling at me! I feel so afraid! Daniel, please protect me from all these lechers!"

He pushed his fake cleavage against Daniel's arm, preventing the latter from running away as he held Daniel's palm with both his hands while giving the latter a smirk, making Daniel shiver to the point where goosebumps had appeared all over his body.

"Get off of me!" Daniel exclaimed, trying to run away from Jake, going in circles around the classroom to escape the latter's grasp. It was only after their homeroom teacher have arrived that Daniel felt safe to return to his own seat. However, with Jake still seated in front of him, he still felt as though he was in constant danger, especially when Jake would sometimes turn around and give him a meaningful smile whenever the teacher was looking away.

"Stop it! You're taking the joke too far!" Daniel exclaimed the second the teacher left during lunch break, when Jake looked as though he was about to jump on him again.

Seeing how uncomfortable his best friend looked, he finally decided to stop while complaining under his breath, "Tch! You're no fun at all!" He lowered his eyes and placed his hands on his own cleavage, lifting his massive boobs up and down while massaging them with a perverted smile. "This really is a great design! Daniel could only remain speechless at Jake's degeneracy and keep to himself as the both of them headed to the school canteen for lunch.

With AR technology, although the costumes and, in Jake's situation, change in body shape isn't actually real, one would still be able to feel the texture of the projection as though they were the real thing if they gave permission for Minerva to manipulate their central nervous system so the AI could generate the same feeling as the real thing once said person touched the projected costume. After somewhat escaping from Jake's grasp for the whole day, Daniel was already exhausted by the time school ended, yet he still had important business to do afterwards, making him dread the night that is to come.

Saying goodbye to Jake with a gleeful tone, which led the latter to sneer at him as he got on the bus, Dnaiel took the bus directly to the main train terminus of the capital city, before getting himself inside one of the unreserved cars of the maglev train headed towards a certain direction.

Once he got on the train and sat down, he directly sent a DM to Uncle Eric.

"Uncle, I've just got on the train. Will arrive ETA 18minutes. Are you going to drive me to your place or should I take public transportation instead?"

Since Eric did not directly reply to his message, meaning he must be busy with work currently and don't have time to answer, Daniel simply tilted his head towards the window to his right and viewed the scenery passing by at great speed before he finally got the notification sound.

Projecting Eric's message onto his smart glasses, Daniel read the former's reply.

"Sorry, I'm quite busy today. Can you come to location XXXX and wait for me by the entrance? I'll pick you up when you get there."

Daniel directly willed his mind to tap on the hyperlink of the location before telling Minerva to get him there as quickly as possible. Within seconds, the AI had plotted the fastest route for him, which he sent to Uncle Eric to allow the latter to make time for picking himself up when he arrive.

During this entire time, another system located within Daniel's mind remained silent, but it finally couldn't take it anymore and asked in a curious tone,

[Master, why are we heading all the way towards a neighboring country just to visit your uncle, when you have less than 16 hours to complete your mission? Shouldn't you have gone to the closest quarantine zone to find the adamantine there instead?]

To that, Daniel simply sneered within his mind and gave a reply, looking as though it was completely obvious when he spoke, "And how the hell do you expect me to get into those quarantine zones without permission from Minerva? The only way I was able to get into the zome previously was because of Uncle Eric and the professor's intervention. Now that Uncle Eric is assigned to protect another quarantine zone, I have no choice but to go to him in hopes that he would give me a tour around the place if I gave the excuse that I'm bored or something."

[But how are you going to steal the adamantine under the radar of your uncle and the several tens of scientists located there?] The System asked.

"That's why I brought the B*tman costume with me." Daniel explained. "Since the costume I got was a physcial one instead of one projected by a projector, no one would assume otherwise until it's too late. It's actually quite lucky that one of the inheritances left by my father was a vintage B*tman costume that seemed to have been passed down through generations within our family. I actually feel that it's a bit of a pity wearing this costume, since if I were to auction this item instead, it would probably garner more than 1 billion in currency. However, now that I'm using the costume for criminal activities, I wouldn't be able to let this costume see the light of day ever again."

[Master is always so stingy when it comes to money, why don't you become a citizen of the Moon instead?]

"With their lack of benefits to orphans and lack of sponsorship by a parent, how the heck do you think I'm going to survive on the Moon without money? They don't even UBI benefits for their citizens! It's better for me to earn my wages here for several years before retiring there like every rich person does within the Federation." Daniel sneered.

After bantering with the system for awhile inside his own head, Daniel had arrived at the capital of the neighboring country before he knew it. Afterwards, he simply took the subway towards the station closest to the qurartine zone where Uncle Eric was stationed before taking another bus towards the destination.

Finally, he walked for about 5 minutes, turning a few corners before finally arriving at his destination. To his surprise, it seemed that Uncle Eric is already waiting for him by the entrance, as he waved at the former when Daniel arrived.

"Daniel! It's good to see you again!" Uncle Eric exclaimed walking towards Daniel and giving him a hug without the latter's permission.

Feeling a bit awkward from the body contact, Daniel replied with much less enthusiasm, "It's good to see you too, Uncle."
