9 Set me Free

"What's with the Mill enterprise? Their stock is dropping rapidly."

"Everything has been turning the other way around ever since one of their boys got missing."

"Oh dear! If this goes on, they won't even have the resources to control those that still helped them trying to track down their son's whereabouts. It will be a double loss."

Those were the comments from the netizen, as the newspaper seems to be made for Nathan's family

While the headline is talking about the progress of the search for the boy, the second page was telling the world about their drop of company stock.

Tony, who was Nathan's father, has lost it. All the notice the board brought to his attention that might lead to a great loss for their company was waved away.

He didn't care, but if he was using his brain, he would realize that the influence of the company was helping with his so-called search, but where is the sense?

He had lost it.

Ethan wasn't breathing by himself and was cloaked up with IV straps and had oxygen on, to help him breath.

When he opened his eyes, he would try to remove it, which led to sedating him at times.

Things had turned ugly. Melanie was now like an empty shell. The woman isn't even hyping over Ethan's sickness, because she was lost.

Maris was feeding her food like she was a baby. She walked like she couldn't see where she's going.

They expected him as the husband to be sane? Hell no!

The fact that  he was still looking a bit alright was because he's trying to act like a man.

Like the head of the house and not complicate things more than it already had been.

.....

Meanwhile, it's the day.

Her nightmare. The wedding day to the monster.

Her friends were suffering, looking for their son and she's getting married to the man responsible for his disappearance.

Stella stood in front of the altar. He was elegantly dressed and standing in front of her, looking so happy.

Whatever he's feeling was the exact opposite of Stella's one and oh dear, Shane felt like the happiest man on earth.

The joy of being here with this woman, nothing can compare to it. He hadn't touched her because he blocked away the fact that she has been tainted, that another man has touched her and had taken the steps like she courted her from young and would be her first man.

Without tying the knot, he didn't want to lay his hand on her and today is finally the day.

She would forever be his own.

The word she dreaded was heard. "I now pronounce you husband and wife."

The priest said with a smile and looked at Shane, "you may kiss the bride."

He stepped closer to her and she remained standing on the spot like a lot of wood. Her black hair with red splashes was neatly styled and held with pins up her head, leaving her beautiful face more vivid.

The media sneaked pictures of how She cupped her face in his palms and sealed his lips to her own.

At that exact same moment, a woman in his mid fifty could be seen with two beautiful women beside her.

The woman's eyes looked red, and her body looked frail. She came to confirm with her own eyes that Stella indeed married Shane after what he did to her son, who was the father of Stella's child.

The love of her life.

The family took her like their own and she was more closer to this woman before she ran away with her son, to escape the clutch of Shane.

Now that Shane put Alex in a coma, Stella was getting married to him?

The woman still felt like she's dreaming.

The audience applauded as Shane kissed his bride and when he pulled back, Stella felt a burning gaze on her and when she turned towards the direction, her heart shattered into a million pieces.

Why do they have to see this?

They would think she betrayed their son, but that wasn't the case.

If she proves stubborn and cling onto Alex, her daughter might get hurt and these people won't be spared, because this man is crazy.

She held in her tears and looked away from them before Shane would notice them.

They also turned away and left. They've confirmed what they came for.

....

"Stella, we're finally married. Please smile at me. Even if it's just once. I missed the days that you smiled so brightly and we walked around town, just to chit chat. The only thing that felt wrong then is the word 'brother' that you call me.

I wish we could do the same, while you call me honey." He said like a possessed being, his eyes taking in the beauty of his naked bride in front of him.

They were both in the room of the island they visited for their honeymoon.

Stella hasn't spoken a word all day, except 'I do' when the priest asked if she wished to take him as her beloved husband.

All through the process of removing her clothes and doing the same to himself, she just stood still like a robot that had been disconnected.

She had cried to the stage that tears refused to come out anymore.

Shane stared at her. She didn't reply to his rant and it doesn't matter. Whether she likes it or not, she belongs to him now.

His fingers reached to trace down her bare shoulders and soon leaned and kissed her shoulder, feeling butterflies flapping their wings in his stomach.

He further pulled her closer and began kissing her all over.

He kissed her lips and let his hand play with her breast, yet she was immovable.

"Stella, say something. Please." He pleaded, wishing that she would reciprocate his advances.

"Set me free." She said, her gaze frosty and he realized that nothing would move her.

Seems like she still needs more time to accept her fate that she has nowhere to escape to.

He slowly helped her stiffened her body to the bed and made her lay down, before taking his time to caress his body to her own and got in between her thigh, thrusting his manhood inside her and looking at her.

She remained the same. Her head tilted sideways and despite how he began to penetrate inside her, she didn't flinch.

He felt sad.

He wanted her to moan for him.

He wanted her to love him.

Why is that so hard to achieve?
