4 Trouble

After activating the Void Steps Long Yu seemed to disappear and reappear meters away. He used Void Steps to reach the town center in just a short while.

"Damn Drunktard still resisting? Men beat him till he begs for mercy!" A plump middle aged man pointed at a man with tattered clothes and long hair with messy facial hair holding a wooden pole on one hand while the other was holding a bottle of wine.

"So what if I take this bottle, Do you have the guts to take it away from me" The messy man said in a clearly drunk voice as he flung two person coming at him flying with his wooden pole. An elderly man suddenly walked slowly and crowd made way for the elderly to pass "Long Wu! Stop now! All you do was get drunk ever since that day you don't even care about the hardships your son has to endured in these past years yet now not only you wasting money you even want to tarnish the relation of our village with the merchants" The elder seemed to be angry and Long Wu looked at him "Go away village chief, Don't even try to lecture me I told you many times if you want that kid very much why don't you adopt him" Long Wu then smack another merchant's thug.

The elder shook his head "You know how many times I tried to adopt Yu'er yet he kept coming back to you, You know what he said I asked him why do he keep coming back for you? He said because you are his father and he needed to take care of you or else you might do something that would put your life on the line. I know you are strong but you have a son he's not as strong as you, Stop now Long Wu while your son was still caring for you". Long Wu fell into deep silence and kept his head low before leaving the town center slowly the villagers made way as he pass and silently he disappeared.

Meanwhile, As all of that was happening Long Yu that arrived earlier didn't interfere with the fight instead he sneaked into the merchants stall then took some precious stuff like talismans, materials and other stuffs.

He placed them all in a bag and silently hid the bag somewhere without anyone noticing and returned, when he came back he heard what his father said and a little bit of tears accumulated on his eyes yet he wiped them off immediately, he was already used to that but everytime he can't help but to tear as his own father didn't even care the slightest for him but that did not stop his love for his father.

Seeing his father left without stirring more trouble let Long Yu sigh in relief as he won't need to add up compensation he need to steal from the merchants stall.

The plump merchant suddenly shouted to his guards then "What are standing in there for? I didn't pay you to just stand there, Chase after that Drunktard!" As the Guards was going to chase the village chief suddenly stepped forward "I am sorry for this incident, I hope you can forgive Long Wu for his faults I will pay for the compensation" The plump merchant sneered then said "That wine was the Bamboo Rice Wine, A limited amount of this can only be produce in a year! And your saying you will compensate me are you taking me for a fool!".

"Name your price i'll pay"A youthful voice suddenly rang out and Long Yu slowly walked out of the crowd. Looking at the appearance of Long Yu the merchant sneered in disgust and started laughing "A poor boy like you wants to compensate for that drunkard, I bet you don't even have a hundred bits." Then the merchants men ridiculed Long Yu.

Long Ya didn't mind as he calmly looked at the merchant and said "Are you done? If you are tell me just how much did my father took" Long Yu said indifferently.

The plump merchant noticing the expression on his face smirked then thought 'hehehe lets see if you'll still look like that if you know how much bits it is' "Then hand me 10,000 bits, Bamboo Rice Wine cost 1,000 bits per bottle and your father drunk all ten of them, If you can't then he hehe with your looks you can be sold for quite a sum" the plump merchant said mischievously.

"Ah!" the village chief exclaimed as he saw Long Yu took out a stack of silver bit note to the plump merchant saying "Here, Now we're even i'll be leaving" then he silently walked out under the shocked gazes of the villagers and the jaw slacked plump merchant.

The village chief first to recover shook his head and put all of his doubt on where can Long Yu get such a huge amount that can even make three families prosper for years "Everyone! Let's get back to work the fields won't sow itself"
